Ben was superb from the word go. Friendly, helpful, non judgemental, and not pushy in the slightest. Liaised with him over the phone the day before, all transparent and upfront, better than expected part exchange, and service with a smile. Only mild gripe was that an extended warranty wasn't available, but there is a 90 day one supplied FOC until I sort something out.They have made arrangements to get a windscreen blemish removed at no cost.Ben is a credit to the Chorley branch, and it is unlikely I would have driven an hour out of my way without such a level of professionalism involved. Having worked in customer facing sales for 27 years, I can appreciate that the reputation of the company is in the hands of every individual. Well done, Ben. Good luck for the future, and would definitely come here again.

Do not buy their Premium Warranty, it does not cover anything. The company argues that any fault is "wear and tear", when it clearly is not. Complete waste of additional £900.

Had a great used car experience with Harry at the Citroen site, easy to contact, helpful personalised walk round video and a smooth pick up, everything we hoped for.

I had my car serviced yesterday (minor service) and I was asked to pay more than 900£ for items requiring immediate attention. This was surprising since I bring the car regularly for service every year.
The main items brought to attention were a replacement of rear discs and pads which warned at 3mm (at the service 1 year ago they were at 10mm, so this was a surprise), and the replacement/cleaning of air conditioning gas. I was asked to pay almost £300 for the air conditioning service, which I rejected. On the online website the advertised specific cost for this item is £149, so it's unclear why I have been asked to pay double this amount when it was brought up during the service.
The cost of replacement of pads/discs was also not matching what is advertised on the online service booking page.
Additionally the car was not fully cleaned outside (patches of dirtiness near the track and wheels) and it was not at all cleaned or vacuumed inside.

Recently had my first service , Notified of health check and completion of service very professional service by service desk and person caring out the work

Had my car mot'd and serviced, staff are great, go above and beyond, been going 21 years never had 1 problem or bad word, lovely company

Time taken for service great, but was disappointed that the car was not given back in the same condition as we left it. (Seat was not clean)
No service manual's now, and app still shows service overdue, and no health check video received as advised.

Absolutely shocking! Will never have MOT done here again. Customer service is terrible.

Had a major service last month when it was reed suzuki no major issues at all tyers suspension ok took in 3 weeks later tyres all need attention front suspension fail and back suspension attention so I have no faith in there work avoid at all cost showed the video and didn't say anything.

My Son collected his new car yesterday , a BYD Seal U Comfort, from Evans Halshaw Mansfield. We had visited the showroom on Saturday to look at the hybrid electric plugins, and they could not have been more helpful. Tommy, the Sales Representative, answered all of our questions, and took my Son and hubby out for a teat drive. He was polite and very knowledgeable about the cars, and made the whole purchase very smooth. They say a car is the next purchase down from buying a house, but this was far less stressful. Thank you Tommy and BYD Mansfield.

A very positive experience with Lee, Sam and the service team. Very professional and honest, all charges set out in advance of work, and a free inspection too. A range of jobs needed to be carried out on my daughter's C3 Picasso; Where possible work was sorted via the premium warranty, including a cracked catalytic converter which I was previously unaware of. Totally recommended!

Evans Halshaw is comparably expensive, but the services (and all the trimmings) should be good because of that. When I booked my car in for an MOT they included a valet as part of the service, which I accepted. When I dropped my car off I mentioned that I'd left the some rubbish in a bag on my passenger seat as there was no bin on the way in to get rid of it.

Collected my car later that day and the rubbish bag I'd expected to be gotten rid of was belted in on my passenger side and the valet they'd done was terrible. The car was barely vacuumed and the dashboard hadn't been wiped down.

It's not the end of the world but it left a sour taste. I'll shop around next time as Evans Halshaw aren't worth what you pay.
