I’ve been fortunate enough to buy and own several nice cars from various different dealerships around the country and sadly I’ve found that good service isn’t always guaranteed.
This was amongst the best service and experience I’ve had.

I understand that this is partly my fault, as it was my first time having an MOT and service done this way. My car was collected from my home, and about an hour later I received a call saying that repairs were needed.
I was then told the cost would be £1,700. When I said that was too expensive, I was immediately offered a payment plan instead of a clear explanation of the work. Shortly after, I was told the total had actually increased to £2,130 because the service had not been included initially.
I was not clearly informed whether these repairs were necessary for the car to pass the MOT, and I also wasn’t asked about my existing warranty, which could have covered some of the costs.
Overall, this felt like a very opportunistic approach, focused on getting as much money as possible from the customer rather than providing transparent and honest service.
For this reason, I am giving a zero-star rating.

Craig Colman , the Sales Executive who dealt with my wife and I was very helpful and personable. He very quickly and accurately assessed what we were looking for in a car. He discussed and demonstrated the car he thought might meet our requirements, which it did . He discussed the finance details of a purchase, so we were clear as to the costs involved. Overall he made the whole experience of purchase a pleasant one. He ensured we understood the operation of the car sufficiently at the hand over for us to safely drive away. While showing the good sense not to overload us with information but makng it very clear clear that he is availabe to help as we familiarise ourselves with our car. This is likely as the one fault with the car is the handbook which is not produced well and lacks clarity.
I would also like to say that although most of our dealings were with Craig, those of his colleagues we met at the Newbridge Branch were very pleasant and help full.

From the start to driving away we found our experience excellent. We had Stephen Band guide us through our sale. He was very polite, very knowledgeable and gave us great guidance in getting the most out of our new MG. We would highly recommend MG to friends and family.

The engine has seized (locked), rendering the vehicle undrivable and unsafe. As the vehicle was purchased less than six months ago, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, there is a legal presumption that this fault was present at the time of delivery.
The car has not met the statutory requirements of being of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose. Therefore, I am exercising my right to a repair or replacement at no cost to myself.
Furthermore, I note that the vehicle is covered by the Motor Assured Warranty provided at the point of sale, which specifically covers "Mechanical Breakdown."

We have nothing but praise for Daniel and Cameron who handled our new car purchase perfectly and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to change their car.
This would have been a five star recommendation but for the Hyundai Finance/Accounts poor handling of our final payment not being finalised for over 2 weeks causing us to collect our new car 3 days later than promised

I was looking to upgrade my Nissan Juke a few weeks ago and met with Will Gilbert again who I had original purchased the Juke from (4 years ago). I was pleased to see he is now a Senior Sales Consultant at Vertu Northampton and made the whole experience enjoyable and straightforward. He was professional & friendly and I felt I could ask as many questions as I needed without being rushed through the process. I picked my new car up on Saturday and again Will talked me through all the gadgets/dashboard info etc and assured me to give him a call if there was anything I couldn't remember or needed help with when I got home.
Will made this an enjoyable experience without me ever feeling pressured.
