Would give zero if possible. Noted that all reviews on their website are 5*, clearly made up and not representative of the reviews on here. It is all a con, should be struck off. Same experience today as all the other 1* reviewers. Looking at the poor reviews I am now considering myself fortunate that the engineer didn't actually turn up as dread to think what the end cost would have been and no doubt still left without the issue resolved. Have no confidence or trust that this would have been a satisfactory outcome, judging by the attitude and rudeness of the company. Noah made the appointment 2 days ago for a visit today between 12-2pm with a supposed call from the engineer half hour beforehand. Having received no confirmation I called them 1.30pm and was told I would receive a call straight back as they were getting in touch with the engineer. As expected from other reviews this did not happen. Called a further two times and told the engineer would call and was delayed. By 3pm when I called a very rude male put the phone down on me and hung up. Subsequent calls were not answered and ignored. Despite feeling very frustrated, stressed, and annoyed at the waste of my time and the sheer unacceptable, outrageous lack of any customer service and despicable treatment, I am breathing a sigh of relief I had a very lucky escape as I never want to deal with this supposed company again! Please be warned. Save yourself the time, stress and money!

Engineer from Plumbforce attended to diagnosis fault of boiler, identified as PCB board faulty. Took £300 deposit for PCB board
12th December
Brysan attended property to replace PCB board, the boiler is still not working. Engineer didn’t leave the old board. Recommended to replace boiler. Polumbforce took the remainder of balance immediately after engineer attended. Head office quoted new boiler via email 17th December 2025
6th January
Independent engineer attended property and diagnosed the problem as PCB board, as he inserted 6x fuses at separately to test component.
12th January
Engineer from Plumbforce attended, did not look or open the PCB board and verbally confirmed the board has been changed but a component is blowing out the fuse. He recommended changing the boiler again. And admitted the first engineer should have said the boiler change should have been recommended in the first place.
27th January
Independent heating engineer attended and fitted PCB panel bought by myself. Boiler fully functioning
27th January
Rang Plumbforce direct to complain about initial non-repair and charge of faulty PCB board. Informed me they will carry out an investigation, and respond in 24h

I contacted this company as they had fitted and carried out the services for the first 3 years and I was happy with the service they had provided previously. On looking for them I found out that they had been bought out by another company. I carried on and booked the service, the engineer was delayed but they did ring ahead. The engineer was polite and started to carry out the service. I had noted that i was losing pressure in the system. He looked around and it was obvious one of the hidden thermo valves on one radiator was leaking. He carried on looking over the system and recomended that plastic piping was changed to brass and that a valve in the boiler was also leaking and that 3 x thermo valves would need changing. I asked for a quote and he stated the office would forward this. He said he could not finish the service as the valve in the boiler needed to be changed first. After chasing the office for the quote 3 times they eventually sent it to me. 1.2 thousand pounds!!! So i checked the prices of the thermo valves and the valve in the boiler from local DIY suppliers. PF had a 300% mark up!! I also had someone check the the piping and boiler and they found that only 1 thermo valve was required nothing else. I only write this now as they have contacted me about coming back to carry out a service as it is due. No chance!!

Absolute joke of a company! Please, do yourselves a favour and DO NOT contact these people for any work in your property.
I called at 12:15pm for a gas engineer to look at my leaking boiler and was told that someone would be with me between 15:00 and 17:00. I waited until 17:30 and no show...I called the number again, but no answer (it's a 24hr service). When I checked their website, the number has been changed? How hard is it to phone the customer and give an update if you were not going to show up?
Avoid at all costs, unless you want to be let down...

Great customer service
I got a boiler installed by them in 2019, I lost the paperwork and when it came to sell my flat (I needed boiler safety cert) they were SO helpful. The initial woman I spoke to said the guarantee should be enough, then they called me back straight away and a man talked me through the process of getting a copy of the boiler certificate, emailed me a link and checked it would be there before I ordered the copy. It’s just really refreshing to speak to a human directly who can help me straight away and even more of a relief that they’re still happy to help 6 years later.

Plumb Force Direct are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Their so-called engineer Lorenzo lied about costs, pressured me into paying £500 on the spot, and hid “non-refundable deposit” in the invoice without explaining. The next day he sent unverified men (one claimed to be his brother) who destroyed my working boiler, cut wires, left holes in the wall, and walked away leaving me with no boiler and a wrecked house.
Their manager Scott defended this behaviour and ignored my six emails and multiple calls. It’s been weeks — no refund, no repair, no accountability. British Gas engineer confirmed the boiler was deliberately damaged.
This company uses deceptive sales tactics, sends unqualified people into homes, and acts with zero integrity. — do not let them near your property.
Horrendous company
Horrendous company, If you want to be unfairly robed by plumbers with no care about trying to fix your boiler but rather to take a quick look and giving you the the most expensive solution which is to change the entire boiler, for a wooping estimate of almost £4000?! Be their guest.
I called this company, an engineer came Over( or at least that's what he said he was...) took the cover off and took quick look and said you need a new boiler. Immediately after told me, "the bill is £102" how do you want to pay.? And I said to him, you charging 102£ for telling me something that already knew? To what he said yes we are not running around London for free. Fair enough! But £102 that was actually £94,80 fos just 10 min diagnostic?
I'm not happy and know this is an absolutely robbery!! I also called their phone number to complaint. As I believe they charge people unfairly. And customers should be aware of this practice.

Ghosted After Payment—Stay Away
I hope this review helps others avoid the experience I had with this company. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, the rating system doesn’t allow it.
After providing a quote and accepting a deposit for the job, the company disappeared. Neither the office nor the plumber responded to my calls or emails after failing to show up at the agreed time. Initially, I was told the plumber was “on the way” or “waiting for parts,” but eventually, all communication ceased entirely. I waited the entire day with no update, no attempt to reschedule, and no apology.
The last contact I had with them was a promise to return my deposit for the unfulfilled work, which has yet to happen. I’m currently pursuing a complaint through consumer services and am prepared to escalate the matter to small claims court if necessary.
I strongly advise others to avoid this company.

Stay clear and away from this company. I used them in 2024 for a new boiler. They came did the job, and in the process of gaining a service this year. The boiler which was supposed to be new, was a second hand water cylinder which needed to be descaled which cost me a further £350. This company is a disgrace, and I’m very surprised they are still operational. Sent the company letters outlining my concern. But they became a ghost and stopped all forms of communication. This company can not be trusted. Stay clear and don’t make the mistake i made. 😡😡😡😡

Booked for between 10-12pm today for a small gas fitting job... No show. Called the company at 1pm, he said he would call back to see where the engineer is and let me know. Not a word. All good, plenty more trades out there who will respect my time and appreciate my money. Give them a swerve.

A plumber from this company was supposed to come between 1-3pm. The operator said they’d send me a confirmation sms. Didn’t receive it and called two times to check if they are coming. Both times re-assured the plumber is coming. After 3pm and no one has come. I tried to call them and they turned off the line. It’s 4:28pm and no communication, no plumber. Absolutely horrible experience. Please avoid at all cost.
Over priced
I was charged £558 which is £159 more than Vaillant's fixed price out of warranty repair cost (£399 including parts). The engineer replaced the PCB board - a 5 minute job. The circuit board costs new £189 or used with 12 month warranty £40. The replacement board did not look new.

Unserious, unpleasant and unprofessional
I called this company today in order to find out more about their prices and to book them to repair a leaking shower. The lady I spoke to was condescending and made me repeat myself a few times when the call started. I have a slightly pronounced French accent - not one that means you can't understand me - yet she behaved as though it was hard for her to understand me. Then when I asked how much they would charge, she quoted me a price that is different from the one advertised on their website. I had to probe for her to clarify and give me more details. At the start of the call, she asked me for my postcode and address to check whether they had someone in the area they could send- and asked me a few times whether I wanted to book. As I was probing their prices, she must have gotten fed up and then out of the blue told me suddenly they cannot offer me that service - they do not have any appointment to offer me! I am utterly appalled and will never ever contact this company again.

AVOID. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a chap called Scott over the phone and Reece the “plumber” in east London in-person.
This is a frightfully unprofessional outfit, I was hung up on, the tradesperson has arrived without any adequate tools or equipment, in a vehicle that was falling apart. I have been lured in by their website and claims and in actual fact they have no ability to carry out what they promise.
Not to mention I was quoted 3 times the going rate - I simply wanted a dishwasher disconnected and a new valve fitted. Embarrassing company.

Blocked drain which they charged £586 including VAT. He was here for about an hour and used rods and sulphuric acid. Finally cleared the blockage. However, the very next day the drain is blocked again! Plumbforce said they cant send anyone for another 2 days. That means 2 days without using the toilet! I called another company who came within the hour and charged £250, used cameras and jets and cleared the blockage. He said the reason it is blocked again is because the other company didnt use drain jets to clear it properly! Plumbforce dont give refunds - convenient. When my wife tried to call the guy hung up on her.
