Scam-like behaviour — dishonest, unsafe and should be investigated

Plumb Force Direct are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Their so-called engineer Lorenzo lied about costs, pressured me into paying £500 on the spot, and hid “non-refundable deposit” in the invoice without explaining. The next day he sent unverified men (one claimed to be his brother) who destroyed my working boiler, cut wires, left holes in the wall, and walked away leaving me with no boiler and a wrecked house.

Their manager Scott defended this behaviour and ignored my six emails and multiple calls. It’s been weeks — no refund, no repair, no accountability. British Gas engineer confirmed the boiler was deliberately damaged.

This company uses deceptive sales tactics, sends unqualified people into homes, and acts with zero integrity. — do not let them near your property.

⭐ 1 Star – Extremely unreliable, repeated cancellations and false promises

I booked a boiler installation with Boiler Central, but it turned into a very frustrating experience. The company cancelled my appointment or no show up five times, even after confirming and promising that an engineer would definitely attend.

Today, they once again assured me someone would come between 8-10am, but by lunchtime, nobody showed up. I called the company, and was simply told they could “reschedule again.” I refused, as it was clear they could not deliver on their commitments.

They later emailed me to confirm the cancellation, but worded it as though it was “requested by me,” which is misleading — the cancellation happened because they repeatedly failed to attend.

An hour later, they called again, offering a £150 discount if I agreed to yet another rescheduled visit the next day. At that point, I had completely lost confidence in their ability to provide a reliable service.

I strongly suggest anyone considering Boiler Central to be cautious. A boiler installation is a major home job — you need a company that keeps its promises and respects your time. Unfortunately, Boiler Central failed on both counts.

I can’t recommend Bishopsgate Law highly enough! Olivia, Niharika, Emmanuel and the whole team work seamlessly together and are incredibly efficient. There’s always someone available to answer questions or provide guidance, making the whole process completely stress-free. They managed to complete my property purchase in just 4 weeks, all at a very reasonable price. I honestly wouldn’t consider going anywhere else in the future. Terrible experience. I paid for a RICS Chartered Surveyor but was instead assigned to a subcontractor (AssocRICS), who is not fully qualified to sign off without further checks. This caused unnecessary delay, as the report was promised several times but only delivered after I was about to make formal complain.

The report itself was extremely disappointing — full of vague disclaimers, telling me everything was “buyer’s responsibility” and recommending endless further investigations because the surveyor “could not see this” or “was not able to assess that.” In the end, it provided very little meaningful insight and felt like a complete waste of time and money.

A lot of enquiries from open rent , had a few views after initial assessment of the suitability, but I could not find a suitable tenants after these views .
But OpenRent is pretty easy to use with a lot of potential tenants .
I like the auto reply with your own templates which save a lot of time. Definitely will use it again in the future. Strongly recommended this free , user friendly platform.

We were ripped off by this company . They bit with lower price and a lot of promises, then asked for extra £ 100 for 50 meters walking distance. Without paying it, the driver would not open the van. Never use it again.
Just got reply from AnyVan after provide booking ref. All in all, they just ignore the fact without doing any proper investigation . Let me just add more information here. I quoted and paid to pick couple of furniture on the way to drop furniture. The driver parked the van on other side of the house and did not bother to drive around the block to park on the road next to house. The driver was very unhappy and talking to his partner in the front of us saying that would cause extra charge due to walking distance .( I did show them how to park next to the property , they did not want to.) then final drop point, there is gated small yard in the front of building which we don’t have drive access( booking team was made aware of this during tele conversation) proximately 50 meter walking from the gate to the building. The driver called AnyVan to charge extra £100 for this distance . We were forced to pay this extra in order to get our furniture . It was an absolutely terrible experience with AnyVan and very disappointed their customer service.

I don’t normally write any review , but I feel I should this time to appreciate Bishopsgate team effort .

The work carried out by the team is phenomenal. Especially Angela Solovastru and BarbaraKazimierka have worked exceptionally well to get our lease hold property done in a timely manner . I also would like to mention manager Andrew who is always helpful and patient answering our questions when we were not sure which solicitor firm to use. I am impressed with the efficiency of the whole team including reception desks which is always available during office hour and get your message around to relevant staff , very quick response from Angela and Barbara, and the rest of the team. We will definitely use this firm in the future and strongly recommend to anybody who need this type of service. Liying
