Went to #Lookers Mercedes Worcester this morning ..I saw a new Cle 53 convertible advertised and wanted to go and view it. When I arrived the lady on the reception asked “how could she help” ,I explained I had come to view the new Cle convertible they had advertised on line .
The lady disappeared into the office sales and was speaking to a guy at a computer . While this happened a guy called Ben came out and asked “what was our enquiry”.

Going over it again I explained I had seen a new Black Cle convertible for sale at the dealership advertised in autotrader and wanted to come down and see it with the intention of making a purchase.

After explaining why I was at the dealership Ben initially said to me “I was out of luck because the sales manager had it for the day and he was out ….explaining it’s the only coupe they have” , reiterating I actually was enquiring about the convertible he then said “no we haven’t got one of those , we never get them the car is probably at the port ….”

I explained they had it advertised at their dealership on autotrader…..again Ben said “no we haven’t got any here”.

Ben then said to me that “the only way he could get one is if I ordered it …!”

I said to Ben are you serious the car is listed at 87k with the Gap and other cosmetic insurances etc it will be north of 90k who would order one without at least seeing a demo or the same car in the flesh?

Ben said “we can’t get one without it being ordered”

I said I guess I will have to go to another dealership …Ben said “yes you will have to go to another dealership” .

Great I said I will do but can’t believe what I am hearing..

As I walked out I mentioned to the lady on the reception that the attitude was dreadful , she apologised and said “did I want to speak to a manager” I said yes I did …..

As the lady on reception went to get the managers office to get him , Ben reappeared obviously realising I wasn’t happy with his dreadful service and wanted to see the manager and said “I could maybe get one in a few weeks if I really wanted one” ….

I told Ben don’t bother I have already made my decision

I saw the manager called Brian who apologised for the awful lack of service.

I have had 7 Mercedes along with BMW’s , Porsche over a number of years ……I even took my other Mercedes to this dealership for a service in April this year and have never experienced service like this before….

Mercedes used to be brilliant service ..wether you were buying a car or just browsing , in for a service but what is also surprising is that they will let a customer or even encourage a customer to go to another dealer when the customer …..me in this case made is perfectly clear I want to make a purchase.

Makes me wonder if the attitude to the customers from the sales guys here is endemic across the the board in this group ….could anyone have even though about behaving like that 10-20 years ago….in a prestige car dealership .

Customer service isn’t what is used to be….

We had fantastic service from start to the finish. Our salesman George Milton was friendly, knowledgeable and never made us feel pressured to purchase. He took the time to answer all our questions and helped us find the perfect car at a great price. The whole process was smooth, professional and stress free. We highly recommend George to anyone wishing to buy a car, we would not go to anyone else to purchase.

I would give Lookers Audi Hamilton no stars if the app let me.
Worst service department I have ever encountered in 40 years of owning cars.
Arranged for the car to be picked up for an interim service. On the day they didn’t appear. After many phone calls from abroad, I finally got through to Jack in service dept, excuse after excuse, it’s a computer glitch etc etc etc. arranged for this to happen the next day. Tried to communicate with them by sms and email to say the car needed to be picked up before 10.00am. Off course this did not happen, there driver called me and said he was given the wrong address info and did not know where to pick up the car. Not his fault, Jacks fault. Called jack and he was rude, tried to talk over me, gave every excuse possible and I had to talk to the service manager.
Two days waste, multiple calls, emails sms messages.
AVOID this team at all costs, they are incompetent, rude and certainly not interested in customer care.

Purchased a T Roc from Lookers at Northallerton. The whole process was excellent from start to finish.
Matthew went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and everything explained.
Helped out with all sorts of things.
Credit to his company.

I can genuinely say that the entire sales process was excellent.
James in the sales team took his time to understand exactly what we needed and ensured that our expectations were managed appropriately.
My wife and I were introduced to the management team, a touch that made the sales/purchase feel more personal and less of just another deal done.
The site is lacking in a bit of space in the form of customer parking but other than that it’s all good. Good stock and great prices. Thank you.

Sold completely the wrong automatic gearbox oil after insisting it was correct.

The moment there was a sign of liability for potential damage, Charles Hurst Toyota where dishonest about what had happend to avoid me at all costs.

The car is used to take my new born son up and down to hospital.

Is this the dealer you want to spend your hard-earned money with ?

I bought my car on June 26 and the wireless charger has not worked since I bought it. The car has been in twice and all they have done is a software update which didn’t work. I had a A class 70 plate and two 26 plates courtesy car and my phone has worked perfectly fine in all the cars, so why is it not charging in a 23 plate? there advise was to take the case off and use without a case, outrageous behaviour and advise I just want it fixed!!

I also had a health check and they said the front suspension was amber now 3 weeks later it is now red and needs money to be spent to repair.

I have had nothing but trouble with the car and I am paying a lot of money for something that is not fully functional!!

I DONT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AS THE SERVICE TEAM ARE USLESS, I think that they are not doing the work as it’s under warranty, I bet if I had to pay they would have fix the VARIOUS faults with my car. I wish I had kept my old car or gone back to the Dartford dealership which is where I had bought my last few cars and had been with them for 10 years. I have now taken this to the motor ombudsman and hopefully they will get this rectified. I would just like to give back the car and get my money back to be honest as the list of things that are wrong with the car increases weekly it I won’t bore you with all the details.

If you are having issues I recommend emailing the motor ombudsman. I hope for a better outcome!

Leasing company will not delivery to the Isle of Wight, where as other companies will. I don't have an issue with this, even if they charged a little extra. However they are not providing any alternative solutions to this problem at the moment, definitely not customer friendly company.

Easy to book, kept me upto speed on progress of MOT and when car ready throughout the day. Seamless drop off.

Generally painless process & welcome offer of service plan to spread cost. But I could not give 5 stars because I had requested ( on the check-in form) that the alarm regarding the sensors being dirty should be checked but this was not actioned - even though the check box for checking alarm history was ticked as checked.

A seamless while you wait experience for a service and oil change. The staff, and in particular Kath, were friendly and helpful.

Staff were helpful and efficient.
The car was in because of a problem with the AWD system but diagnostic check showed nothing!!!
The mechanic did reiterate a suggestion I made on arrival which I have followed up on and it appears to have cured the problem.
During the inspection I received a text to allow me to track the status of the inspection however it only took me to a screen for booking a new service!!!

Service was spot on, Staff are great, and works were resolved in under 3 hours while I waited for a repair to a random fault that came on the EMS on Monday 3rd August. Booked in and sorted by the Friday... doesn't get better than that when your van is an essential part of your business

Timely reminders, easy booking arrangements, great check-in with no waiting, fast initial assessment and clear information about what else might be required with prices, decent courtesy car and fast collection and payment. Everything is designed to cause the customer the least problems. Well Done the people at Lookers.

First class job and absolutely no problems at all. In constant contact with me and a video / paperwork when the job was completed. Excellent service well done to all involved.

Fantastic service

Staff friendly and welcoming. Car serviced on time and as expected. No unnecessary extra charges.

I had an issue involving missing locking nuts. Somehow it became quite complicated and the service manger had to be involved.
However, the service manager and the customer service representative were both outstanding in their helpfulness, friendliness and professionalism throughout what turned out to be quite a long day for me.
Lookers Volkswagen Preston have always been good to me and this tricky visit was no different.
