Illegal sale of a Honda CB125R!!!
I was sold a bike on 16/03/26, had it collected on the 19/03/26. I wasn’t given any information on where to find the “full service history” the bike was advertised with. When I finally found the history online, I find that it’s four months overdue its service!! So not a full service history at all. Worse still, I find that the bike was sold to me illegally as there is an active safety recall on this bike!! The bike is a Honda CB125R SJ73 EDR. I’m a learner, yet to complete my CBT, leaving me stranded with a bike that’s unroadworthy and falsely advertised!! I’ve been trying to get through on the phones for 3 days but each time I try, I’m on hold for over an hour and then the phone line cuts out!! I’ve sent emails that have gone unanswered and I’ve even messaged the salesman but have been ignored!!!

SBF Bristol superb service
Firstly I must apologise as I did not catch the name of the young lady who initially helped me on my visit to the showroom, she was busy but still had the time to wheel a bike out for me to look over. The service I received from Hugh was excellent he was friendly and provided as much information on the bike that he had available, the service history was limited so I opted to add this as an option, it was mentioned but not pushed by Hugh. I wanted the bike delivered so this was arranged and the fee charged is very reasonable and the service from the courier was excellent. Bike was purchased Sunday, ready for the courier on Monday and the courier called on the Tuesday and arranged delivery for Friday so very efficient. The bike arrived as scheduled with the service stamped in the book and in the condition it was in when I looked it over. So far everything has been very positive and I am very pleased with my bike purchase and the service from SBF Bristol.

Outstanding Customer Service, Over and above.
Myself and three friends rode over from Preston to Superbike Factory in Bradford to have a look around the bikes for sale, and what an experience it turned out to be.
We were welcomed in by Phil, a genuinely lovely chap who took the time to explain what bikes they had and where everything was. We were even invited to help ourselves to tea or coffee in the kitchen, which was a really nice touch. The whole atmosphere was relaxed — no pushy sales tactics at all, just polite, approachable staff.
After spending over an hour browsing, we thanked Phil and were about to head home when one of my friends noticed a large amount of oil under my bike. On closer inspection, it turned out the oil filter was loose and I had lost a significant amount of oil.
I went back inside to see if I could buy some oil, but unfortunately there wasn’t any suitable for my bike on the shelf, and the store was just about to close. Phil didn’t hesitate — he took me over to their workshop where I met Adam Griffiths.
Adam was an absolute lifesaver. He immediately came out, checked the bike, and confirmed there was virtually no oil left. He wheeled the bike into the garage, put it up on the ramp, and showed me just how loose the filter was — likely from a recent service where it hadn’t been fitted correctly. He even said I was extremely lucky, as another mile and the engine could have been completely destroyed.
Despite it being closing time, Adam cleaned everything up, tightened the filter, refilled the oil, and thoroughly checked for any leaks before starting the bike again to make sure everything was running perfectly.
I honestly can’t thank Phil and Adam enough. That level of customer service — going above and beyond, especially at closing time — is rare to find these days.

Final Review:
I wanted to share a final update following my earlier review, when I first had some issues with the bike itself, the service first carried out on it and communication from SBF.
The experience didn’t start well – it was initially quite difficult to get a response and I had to chase through multiple channels after delivery due to several concerns with the bike. That part was frustrating and could definitely be improved.
However, once my case was picked up by Martin from customer care, things turned around completely.
The issue turned out to be more serious than expected (coolant leaking into the oil due to a failed seal), but the team handled it properly. The bike was collected, thoroughly inspected, and the root cause was identified and fixed. Communication became clear and consistent, and I was kept updated throughout the process. It took less than 3 weeks from collection to pickup – a reasonable timeframe, which reflects logistics and parts supply delays. However it took nearly a month to get a response, this is something what could be focused on in the future – after sales is an important part of a good customer service.
I’ve now collected the bike from Donington and rode nearly 100 miles home. Everything feels spot on and I cannot fault it.
Big thanks to the Donington team for the quality of work and smooth handover, and especially to Martin for going the extra mile and making sure everything was done properly the second time under warranty.
So while the start was not great, the way this was resolved has completely changed my opinion. Credit where it’s due, they put it right.
Final rating reflects the full journey: a rough start, but a strong and professional finish.

AVOID
AVOID. Bike advertised as 1 owner from new, superb condition and 12 month warranty. When the log book arrived I was the 5th owner, bike broke down, warranty not even registered, paid for a service that was not even done. To try and speak to them is impossible, I had to make 2 trips to drive to them at 1.5hr each way to get answers! Staff did sort this out and I finally got a full refund.
If you want to see what its like before buying then try calling them. The only time they call you back is if you enquire about a new bike, so anyone who can't get thorough to them for anything else then just keep sending enquiries through for bikes!

Only went into buy a helmet
Only went into Milton Keyes to buy a helmet, got talking to the guys there about a KTM Duke which was the bike I wanted. My main concern was being able to touch the floor-being a short arse. They showed me a Benelli Leoncino which they had just taken in part exchange. I fell in love with it.

Sadly I will not use Superbike again. Submitted all my details for part ex on my BMW RT1200Le 2017 against a 10k GS. They offered a PT ex value of 4k.
Went to Bournemouth Kawasaki . Offered me 5.5k on a 10k bike after riding it over and them inspecting it.
Better value and local. The customer service was 5 star .
