Had a Truespeed fibre connection for about three and a half years without significant disruption. I see them more as a router hire company than a broadband provider - the provided router is locked to their firmware and they expect you to rent a mesh extension (rent?..... really?).
So don't expect anything too different to BT and expect prices and renewal 'deals' to be significant with zero loyalty and limited options going forward. If you know your internet and need to do anything fancy (which includes having a static IP) then look elsewhere- this is a service for bulk consumers needing locked firmware and an idiot proof service. Personally i dumped their somewhat ineffective router for my own and saved money on mesh rental. In all honesty they're sort of ho hum fine but if i had an option in future i wouldn't go with them and i'd opt for a less generic service which would be more expensive at the start but would cost less over time.

As my contract with BT was coming to an end I asked around locally for recommendations for an alternative network. I live in the country where getting a signal is always a problem. Without exception the feedback was positive for Truespeed so that's who I have gone with. Ben, the young man who did the technical stuff to get me connected was a pleasure to meet. He explained what he was doing clearly and made sure I was happy with the results before he left.

I have just renewed our contract with true speed and was well looked after by Rebecca P who was able to offer me a cheaper rate than I have been paying for the past year. She worked hard to get the deal for me. She was extremely friendly and pleasant on the telephone and called me back when she said she would.

Heidi was immensely helpful and patient in sorting out my (self-inflicted) problem. However, being cut off during my first conversation (not Heidi) and not being called back but having to be in the queue again was irritating.

Really great onboarding and first year, but then they've jacked up their prices at renewal and wont let me continue on 150 or 300 speed, only insisting I take 600 or 900 only.
Absolute scam and needs to regulator to step in.
By the way if you're a new customer you can continue to sign up as you wish at their cheap prices at whatever speed you like. But at renewal it's a different matter entirely.
Their reply to this review is a joke and tells you everything you need to know about them. They never asked for my details, I called to speak through the options with them but had to sit in a hold queue for over 45 minutes before they answered. This whole company is just an absolute picture of ineptitude when it comes to customer service and retention.

Had a bad experience last week with a truspeed operator so it was amazing to speak to Lee Gates-Deville today who listened and was so helpful. He even managed not to laugh when I didn't know that a speed was high and did not make he feel stupid .
He was extremely professional along with being friendly and helpful.
He is an absolute credit to the company

Happily moved to Truespeed Ultrafast full-fibre broadband, from an old phone-line service. Truespeed had installed the fibre to the outside of our home a few days earlier. On the day of installation, I required the new router to be installed on the first floor of our house which meant climbing up on our porch and drilling through the stone block wall. Truespeed's lovely installer, Dave Williams, reassured me that this was no problem and had our new service quickly fitted with the minimum of fuss, in less than an hour, and left no mess at all. The whole process was very smooth and seamless. Before he left Dave made sure that I knew how to access my new service and also ensured that it was operating at the correct speed. Fabulous service from Dave Williams (many thanks!) and Truespeed. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a customer for a few years now and my renewal came through at a slightly higher price. After calling and speaking to a very helpful lady (thank you Rebecca P 😃), I was able to switch to a better deal at the same as my existing price.
I am really happy with the service I receive from Truespeed.

Lee Gates-Deville was extremely helpful & efficent in helping me choose which broadband plan was best for me & explaining everything
He also managed to get the installation booked in a week earlier than the first date I was given and rang me to confirm
All in all extremely good service and Lee was very polite 😊

I spoke on the phone with Grace today after facing some connectivity issues. Grace was professional, informative and friendly throughout the call and demonstrated top tier service.
Not only did the issue get resolved but Grace followed up once it was sorted with a call back to let me know it had been resolved knowing I was working from home to expediting my ability to get back to work.
Graces friendly manner alongside taking ownership of dealing with me as a customer made me feel very valued and respected.
Grace is an absolute credit to Truespeed and I will continue to recommend the company to friends and family as a result of this wonderful experience.

Very disappointed! I’ve had no problems with Truespeed until now. My contract comes to an end and the renewal price is increasing by over 20%! And I’m told this is still the discounted price. There is zero negotiation on price and staff on the phone (when you eventually get through) are completely indifferent. There attitude is very much “take it or leave it we’re not bothered”
I’ve come away with a very sour taste after being such a fan of truespeed in the past. This latest experience is so disappointing.

Phenomenal customer oriented service.
First line customer service agents are knowledgeable. they are willing and able to interact with more advanced users with networking knowledge making inquiries seamless and the speed of resolution faster and more comprehensive, anything they cannot answer they are willing to say so and will immediately ask their "tech team" who themselves are a brilliant bunch.
Company is flexible and willing to work with users to meet their needs even when unconventional.
Well spoken, efficient and patient communicators.
Price for service is good, no hidden charges or extra costs.
