After sales service mending my severed cable was speedy and handled in an extremely friendly way by all concerned.
One star missing because the cable I cut was only 3" below ground and was not marked or protected in any way. A frequent happening apparently. "Been gardening have you" said the engineer when he arrived.

Called me to let me know my contract was due to end, which was great as I forgot when it would. Then proceeded to offer me the exact same deal that I am currently paying, when I was fully expecting to pay more. Very polite and professional service and a fantastic product that I will use for the foreseeable.

The overall service is very good, but is let down by a few avoidable niggles. The two stage process started with external connection which was straight forward. They brought the fibre upto the door and asked where the router was going. We showed them and, without entering the house they said it would be fine. 10 days later the techs arrived to install the router. When they checked with the stud/power tester our original location for the router was refused due safety (not being able to drill near pipes or cables). They then had to figure out a new route for the fibre. This involved going round the outside of the house and into the side wall. The whole installation took around twice as long. A simple survey, prior to installation, would have identified the issues and allowed time for a discussion on alternate options, the installers would then known exactly what was needed rather than making rushed decisions on the day of installation.

Anil was very polite and professional, listened to my requirements and advised on my options available, answering any questions with detail. From his advice and information I decided to remain with Gigaclear for another term against moving to another supplier.
HOWEVER GIGACLEAR WHY DO YOU NOT OFFER THE SAME OFFERS AND DISCOUNTS FOR LOYAL CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE BEEN WITH YOU FROM THE VERY START AS YOU DO FOR NEW CUSTOMERS?
