Having lost internet I have spent several hours on the phone on hold to Truespeed. I have still failed to speak to anyone. Emailing them receives a standard reply stating they aim to be in touch in two working days.
Leaving us without internet. A very poor service. I will up date this review in due course.

I gave 4 stars to this review because of my experience today with Matthew, your telesales advisor. He was polite, extremely helpful and honest in explaining the whole process, including when it comes to review the contract in 2 years time. I wasn't impressed with my initial experience, as it has taken over 2 weeks from my 1st contact, and reminder, for someone to contact me re installation. It would have been 5 stars otherwise

On day of connection you'll get a text letting you know that the engineer is on the way.
We had Dave Williams, a lovely Bristol chap who was very helpful, polite, tidy and respectful.

Absolutely shocking experience with Truespeed.
I contacted them to discuss my contract after the price doubled from £30 to £55. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, I was given poor alternatives and no real effort was made to retain a loyal customer.
I then clearly requested cancellation and was explicitly told that the service would continue for 30 days. That turned out to be completely false.
My internet was cut off early without warning, leaving me without service for an entire weekend. When I called, I waited over an hour just to be told my contract had already been closed — contradicting everything I had been told before.
Customer service repeatedly gave false promises (“it will be fixed after 12”, “someone will call you back”) — none of which happened. I had to chase them multiple times and was effectively ignored.
To make things worse, my partner tried to open a new contract at the same address, and that was also cancelled without explanation.
This company shows a complete lack of communication, accountability, and basic professionalism. Customers are misinformed, services are cut off incorrectly, and support is unreliable at best.
Avoid Truespeed if you value your time, money, and sanity.

A real person you can speak to without pressing 10 different automated menu options, waiting an hour before being put through a team then put on hold for another hour to speak to the right team for Virgin media. Install appointment was reliable and Bradley Allen-Ross was very professional.

Signed up when they first started opening up to our area, 900meg internet, awesome. First year or so was mostly good, randomly lost all internet for a day or two a couple of times due to infrastructure stuff.
Once we renewed, the price doubled, I rung up and they would only offer higher prices than what I was currently on... Until I said fine, I'll cancel sign up with someone else, no bother. It all changed then and they were able to match my current price with them...
Well I'll be honest, I wish I left since, paying for 900meg, internet feels worse than my old 70 meg. I can't stream 4k with one device connected at times in the house. A few hours later I can stream fine, I try to download something and it fluctates from 100 - 700meg, mostly on the low end. Never hits speed it is meant to cap out at, unless you do a speed test (odd how that works).
I rung up to ask if I was being throttled and why, they denied it, claimed it was my wifi... I have every device bar our phones/tablets all wired, so thats not the case at all. Troubleshooting steps were all to do with resetting wifi, checking theres no channel conflict, all the stuff that only effects wifi and not the wired stuff (they are the main issues as I don't really watch stuff on phones etc).
Will not be signing up with these guys again, really really recommend avoiding if you live outside of a major city. I've got three neighbours who signed up at the same time, all three swapped companies and have no issues. In that same time I often get 5 second or so disconnects, any time of day. Enough to kick me out of whenever I am doing, at night when things are quite (2am etc) I still get these random disconnects and speed still fluctuates alot, so the peak time thing isn't to blame.
TLDR: If you want internet that is reliable and maintains or even gets close to the speed you pay for, go elsewhere.

After 3 years out of the Truespeed area and going back down to 26mg with Sky Broadband, it was a great relief and pleasure talking with Matthew yesterday about getting our new house connected up to the Truespeed network. After 2 phone calls to India over nearly an hour trying to cancel our old broadband, within only 6 minutes and 49 seconds speaking with Matthew on the phone from bath the account was setup, the direct debit setup and a few hours later I received a call as promised from Matthew with my date for the engineer visit which is in less than 72 hours.
I’m really happy that the service at the end of the phone was just as good maybe slightly better than it was before. Also managed to lock in 900mg for 2 years at £29 per month. It really is a no brainer. As I have said before if you haven’t got Truespeed yet you really should get it.
