Just received my hedgehog feeding station and l’m absolutely delighted. So well made and next day delivery.
And to top it all I had a visit from a hedgehog the same night fantastic.

I ordered a couple of woodstone boxes which were several pounds cheaper here than on other sites. The order was quick and I was updated about delivery time. One of the boxes came broken and after letting Ark know this on live chat I was immediately called with an update that a new box was out that day for me. I had a second issue with a box and this was rectified too. There is no blame on Ark's part about the damage, it is a delivery issue but the service received was 10/10 and I would recommend Ark Wildlife to others.

Ark Wildlife I'm sure has many good items for sale but on this occasion the biscuit Fox food I purchased has not been a success. A waste of money and I believe it is my fault because I should have purchased a small bag to trial first. I bought 10kg in the mistaken confidence from the description that it was appetising for foxes.It is not. I should have read another customers feedback on the website first in which he says that in his experience the foxes wouldn't eat it. I have no alternative but to throw it away. It was left night after night and my trailcam shows the foxes (very skinny) smelling it and walking away. I believed they would eat it if hungry but it's still there in the morning attracting seagulls! I emailed for advice from Ark but the reply offered the explanation : "usually indicates that they are accessing another food source elsewhere. While this may seem illogical when they appear very thin, unfortunately we cannot encourage or force wildlife to eat a particular food simply because it is provided.

Regarding your comment about how skinny and unwell the foxes look, it is very likely that they are suffering from mange. Mange is sadly quite common in foxes and can cause severe weight loss, lethargy, and a general unwell appearance. Foxes affected by mange often avoid food altogether, regardless of how nutritious or appealing it is.". This explanation offered by Ark might be an explanation but for the fact I have since offered raw chicken wings and raw chicken and they have eaten the lot. So avoiding food due to mange has not been the issue. I think it's just the type of food offered. On this occasion I really have to come to the conclusion that I don't believe my foxes are happy eating the biscuits food and it will be binned.

Brilliant service from Ark Wildlife. The item I wanted was out of stock, so I emailed them and received a reply super quick to say the product would be in stock within 2 days. As soon as it came back into stock, I ordered two Ice-free for my foxes water dishes, and it was delivered the very next day. I couldn't have asked for better service than that. Highly recommended.

I would give it no stars. This company sell things at over inflated prices. Spend a fortune on seed feeders that do not deter squirrels. Cages that do not deter starlings. And so called winter warmer bird food that they would not eat. Also they purport to give you a discount, Having bought products 3 times have never been offered any discount. They just exploit peoples love of nature and make money. Avoid them. My birds loved HB bird seed and suet pellets at less than half these idiots are charging.

I originally contacted AW about replacement parts for two Ring-Pull Click Seed Feeders bought many years ago from a local Garden Centre. In the end I decided to get new Feeders instead, but added some clip-on perches that would have improved my old feeders.

What I hadn’t noticed - but Craig Skuse had - was that the new Feeders were redesigned and didn’t need the clip-on additions. This prompted Craig to call me to point this out and thus save me the extra cost.

Now, I have no idea if I could have saved a few pounds buying elsewhere. Nor do I care. It’s that kind of extra customer service that’s well worth any extra!

Easy ordering process. Packaged well in recyclable packaging. Excellent delivery time. Bird and butterfly barns excellently manufactured and pretty too. Purchased as a gift and I am sure they will be joyfully received.

Very disappointed with the quality of the winter warmer mix. In the past there have been suet pellets and other ingredients but this time it just seems to be ground sunflower hearts and very little else.

I bought several squirrel feeders with which I hope to attract the red squirrels in the neighbourhood into my small area of woodland. The feeders are solidly constructed of top quality wood and were straightforward to position firmly on the trees. I ordered online, and the feeders were dispatched very quickly. They arrived the next day beautifully packaged. I would have no hesitation, based on my experience, in recommending Ark Wildlife.

Excellent service. Package arrive damaged. Contacted and was offered a discount. V happy. Birds also v happy with more now at my feeder. Will purchase again.

Squirrel's Delight - a 5 star level service - super fast ordering, great products and excellent packaging.

For some years now I have been ordering squirrel foods from this company and the service has been excellent, often with next day deliveries even on late afternoon orders. Packaging is excellent, food quality also, and they have a wide variety of products. Feeding squirrels with a garden adjoining woods is not a cheap enterprise so you may as well get the best supplier for your money. You'd be 'nuts' not to. This stuff is top drawer and consistent.

Since creating the earlier review I have found out from experts that the peanuts and sunflowers in the Insectivore mix are likely to cause Metabolic Bone Disease in Hedgehogs. Apparently they contain too much Phosphorous and block calcium absorption, causing MBD which is something like osteoporosis. It is on the increase apparently. Ark do mention this in their detail about the Ark Hedgehog Food Original which is formulated to avoid this. Shame they mention the Insectivore Food as being suitable for birds and hedgehogs... It should not be given to Hedgehogs at all. It is too good to waste so I will put the remaining feed I bought on the birdtable and make sure I buy the Ark Hedgehog Food Original instead.

As a new customer who has been disappointed with the overall quality of bird seed from the usual Google responders, I decided that the bigger suppliers were all buying from the same distributors and that, to be satisfied I would have to pay more per kg. Hence I turned to Ark Wildlife I bought the Classic Sunflower Seeds (£2 per kg) and have now formed an opinion.

The birds love these Seeds and have returned in numbers that I haven't seen since before the Ukrainian war. There is evidence of 'mess', though it is tiny compared to the piles of discarded seed from my previous supplier's.

I aim to keep my annual budget at present levels, and therefore that will require me to reduce the number of feeders from 6 to 4 ..Squirrel Buster Plus feeders.

I will be watching the 'mess' factor very carefully, but at present it is within my level of expectation/acceptance.

I am delighted with this product and would thoroughly recommend Ark Wildlife. This supplier is in a different league to the others that I have used.

Excellent product and easy to feed hedgehog. Entrance could be slightly smaller as young squirrels keep attempting entrance!

I bought this as a change from my usual bird seed mix from a different company. The bird food arrived quickly, however, I, and more importantly, the birds, are not happy with it! I ordered 3Kg of the Ground and Table Mix and have it in a hanging deepish tray-type feeder.

Much of it is discarded, thrown out onto the ground, and what's left in the bottom is seed "dust", which I have to chuck away, so it has been a total waste of money.

What is even worse is that the ingredients that are discarded attract pigeons, which now congregate on my patio in large numbers!

Needless to say I shall not be buying again. I will return to the seed mix I was using before, although I fear that the pigeons will now be very difficult to get rid of!

I also ordered mealworms and sunflower hearts. Not opened these yet, but hope they are better quality than the seed mix.

Update

I emailed the company as requested, with the order number. Their reply stated that the ingredients are broken down in transport and in the feeder and: "What you’re seeing in the feeder and on the ground is quite typical for this kind of mix, and not indicative of poor quality" Sadly, I am unable to attach a picture of the amount of very fine dust-like particles, which are certainly not normal or to be expected. In my experience it is indicative of poor quality or poor packaging or both.

The rest of their email was similarly along the lines that there is nothing wrong with the product. While I was not asking or expecting a refund, it would have been nice to have had at least some sign or gesture of goodwill, but no, nothing.

It is interesting to note that at the bottom of every order confirmation is the statement: "Rest assured, your purchase is protected by our 60-day total satisfaction guarantee. If you're not completely happy with your order, we'll make it right."

The tone and content of their response makes it quite clear that this is clearly an empty guarantee.

My Hedgehog loves their New Bowls. 1 for Water and 2 for food supplied by you. It comes every night, makes a mess and leaves. On a couple of nights I was sitting in garden late and it brushed past my foot making me jump. The other one, I was sitting in my hanging chair and I could hear a crunching sound. I looked down and the Hedgehog was having a feast. First food, then a little drink, back to food, drink, food, drink etc, till it had enough, then scuttled off.

Im a new customer to Ark Wildlife but must say that I was impressed with the whole process from ordering on the website to delivery. All the products ordered were good quality and well packaged. I will become a regular customer. Highly recommended.

We live in London and have struggled for years with foxes and cats using our garden daily as a toilet, making it utterly unusable for our kids in summer for as long as I can remember. We tried water-sprayers, battery-powered sound emitters, tea-tree oil, lemon rind, wall spikes THE LOT, and nothing ever worked. We must have sent £500 over the years on different products, and we read every article on the internet - all to no avail. Then, a year ago, we bought the PESTFree + Ultrasonic Multi Animal Deterrent - and now we haven't had a fox or a cat in our garden for a whole year!! Only someone who has suffered from foxes or cats relentlessly crapping in thier garden undertsands what that actually means. Now I no longer have to check the grass before letting my kids go out to play - it has been a total game changer - I cannot recommend this thing enough.

We had courier breakages when our order arrived. Karen dealt with the problem extremely efficiently and we had replacements on the day following us advising of the problem.
Sometimes things go wrong. How they are dealt with shows who's good and who's not.
