Cover seemed too good to be true for desexing, chipping and vaccinating, but was as promised. Couldn't ask for better service and repayment extremely prompt. Great cover, great service, highly recommend.

For the second time, in regards to settling a claim I was advised that the payment being made into the nominated bank account is less the excess of $150. But the excess under the policy is $50.

That's pretty stressful to me.

However , the issue was sorted out on 4 July, although it is now 7 July and the amount has not come into the account.

So an honest review at 1 star... even though I like your team a lot.

Excellent response to claim and really impressed how quickly claim was settled.

We had both our kittens vaccinated and micro chipped. We paid for the service and then put in the claim. The money was transferred the next day. Very happy with the service. Always friendly staff. Also love how they mention they hope the kittens are doing well when they email about the claim.

As always, PD were a breeze to work with. The staff are all incredibly helpful, easy to talk to and you can tell they're all animal lovers.

Quick and easy to submit a claim but the process to review and approve the claim is incredibly slow. When we took out insurance 2 years ago it was fast, within a couple of days, but now it takes around 2 weeks.

Update: Appreciate the reply even thought it's 7 months later, however nothing appears to have changed. I submitted a claim earlier this month and it has not been processed, 8 working days and counting.

Applied for claim and was paid the same day

How did you do ? You haven't done anything yet ? I logged a claim over a week ago and haven't heard anything from anyone.

Generally very good interaction with staff and quick response to claims resolution and queries. (for those who are computer literate)
My only disappointment as a relatively recent policy holder is the rise in excess encouraging one to reexamine outlay to outcomes and seek comparisons with other companies. Could I suggest a graduated excess system over a 12 month period say low, medium and present depending on risk assessment?

Floki our Vizsla ate a lithium battery. Urgent vet treatment prevented any serious injuries other than a sorry Vizsla who had been induced to vomit! PD Insurance paid part of our vet bill quickly without any fuss.

So easy to claim being able to do it all on the online portall no emails and having to find policy documents etc AND Claim was accepted and Paid on the same day! Bloody amazing service!!
