So far so good. Price is right and the install was quick. The only complaint that I have is that I can not (or have not found a way yet)to change the name of the WIFi and change the password.

Just a bunch of loose cables taking up a bunch of space with kids and pets, what could go wrong. I now have 2 eyesores on the outside of my house and three on the inside. Also Not compatible with many other router/ modems so you’re stuck with the crappy signal from the one they give you unless you want to rent another eyesore from them. Half the time I have no signal from my upstairs. The installer is obviously getting paid by the job because he fought me on where I wanted to install it and convinced me it would be “better” in what was in fact the easiest and quickest place to put it. Had I known it was going to be such an eyesore and take up so much space with loose cables, I would have refused. The design and engineering of the whole set up is poorly done.

Amazing communication and installation was easy. Those guys deserve a raise. Only part was helping me setup the network. Like changing the name of the WiFi and passwords and such. I feel like they could help with that in the future.

Everyone at Zoom is friendly and wants to give the customer the best experience (sales people and installers). They dug the ditch needed to get the line to our house and then showed it to me and I couldn't tell they had even disturbed anything. Their installer was very nice and worked with us on the placement in the house. We are just starting with Zoom and hoping the fiber optic service will be as good as their customer service. Good start so far.

I would say sub par, I had both zoom and cox running for a little time, and then when I went solely to zoom online, the issues started. One was incompatibility of zoom with the myq garage app, there by not connecting. And to be honest, though they noted the reason for switching to fiber is that the speed is so much better, I saw similar speeds to what I had with cox, which was not a fiber connection. The upload speed was faster than cox, but the download speed was the same. Second is that the solutions and switches they made in the router, fixed the garage app issue, but then through out the day, the 5g connection gets dropped which results in dropped business meetings. I had let zoom know about this issue on Monday, 4/7 requesting prompt resolution as I work from home, and it’s now 4/11. I get a missed call and a message noting how there is a balance of $3 when I just paid $98 for the amount and it was a result of them putting a prorated bill for one day, and one for a month. Amazing how you would do three contact attempts for $3 but not really reach out and resolve the connection issues. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it seems like they have a long way to go.

Fidel in Dallas is the most patient and helpfull customer service rep I have ever experienced. He should be a trainer. I have experienced 100s! The 2nd day installer was helpfull in setting up TV. He failed to unplug previous server, so when I unplugged previous service I was not connected to WIFI. That's why I called Fidel.

Fidel from the Tech Support line was basically the all-star in way of customer service. He never gave up on me and worked efficiently and passionately to find an answer to my issue. The techs Kofee and Roland worked on my network and got my speeds to where they needed to be. Absolute rock stars!

I’m writing this review on a Friday evening where I hoped to be streaming but am without service for past 3 hours. Absolutely terrible experience with Zoom. We switched over a few months ago and have experienced more outages in that time than I did in 10 years with Cox. To make matters worse, their customer service is not 24/7 as advertised. Closed at 7pm? I wanted them to be a credible competitor to Cox but they’ve been a huge disappointment. Would not recommend them.
