Technician was nice. However trenching did not happen the day before. He took care of it but the total install took longer because of that. Hurried we did not go through all the steps to set up router name etc.

The internet has been fine but the customer service and billing issues have been horrible. They require you to setup automatic bill pay which I did. My service started towards the end of the month so I had a prorated invoice of about $2 which went through the automatic bill pay with no issues. Then the next day or shortly after there was a charge for the full bill but my bank must have rejected it thinking it was fraud. I was not notified by my bank OR by zoom that the payment did not go through so I could manually pay. I thought all was fine. Then one day internet stopped working. They had turned off service without telling me that bill was not paid or a notice they were about to turn it off so I can pay it. Then when I called they told me I hadn’t paid bill and to log on to pay it. They couldn’t charge it on customer service end I had to do it. I couldn’t log into app to pay. It took them over a week to give me steps to login. All while I had to fight with them to turn internet back on. I work from home. Finally it was resolved and paid. Then two months later I get a non sufficient funds charge for this issue!! I refuse to pay as they are at fault for not communicating billing did not go through. How am I to know when payments don’t go through?! Service has been horrible. I have been calling for weeks trying to get this resolved and now they show I haven’t paid bill again even though it was taken out of my account.

At first, I wasn't totally pleased with Zoom Fiber at all. Was on the phone with Zooms technical support team 3 different times trying to work out the bugs. Nothing was never mentioned by the salesperson or the installation crew about splitting bandwidth. Apparently, most of my smart devices work better at a lower frequency, but all my TV's worked better on a higher frequency. I had so many laggings issues I couldn't even streamline anything. Was about ready to throw in the towel and go back to COX. BUT the last technical support individual I spoke with seemed to get everything working with no more lagging issues.
As for the installation techs I feel they need to get more involved rather than walk around someone's home with their phone to see the connection speed. Again, I feel they need to turn TV's on and do a full test making sure there are no lagging issues. I have couple outdoor TV's that they never even looked at.
I rated them fairly high afterwards before I knew about all my lagging problems. I wish I could rate them now because I wouldn't give them high marks actually I would give them BELOW score

I’m very happy with the zoom installation. The technicians were very knowledgeable with good communication during the process. They were very professional with their work outside and inside my house. The whole team did a great job!

I requested a fiber internet connection through the ZoomOnline website. They called 811 to mark the underground utility lines for the trench work. Three days later, the trench work was completed in my front yard. After two more days, the fiber cable was installed in my house. My son tested the internet speed and was impressed. By switching from Cox to ZoomOnline, I will save $40 each month.

Only getting between 200-400 mbs with WiFi and if I plug in the wire it’s only getting 400-600 mbs. Definitely not 1gb
