The Leak Detection Company were excellent. Highly communicative, exceptionally professional identifying the problem quickly and providing a thorough report on work conducted and an assessment of the problem. Would highly recommend. They may not be the cheapest but would 100% say it is value for money. If I needed a leak detection service again I really wouldn't bother looking elsewhere

An efficient service using technology to hit for the problem. Techniques of using dye and taking readings of damp. And fibleoptic camera to locate a leak that I wasn't sure was even present. All done within a 3 hour window and a quick effective repair. A full report to send insurers too. A really good service found a solution to the problem.

Andy was very methodical and explained the process very clearly at each stage. He found the source of a longstanding leak and put in a valve so that this could be stopped while we organise a more permanent fix as the leak was under kitchen units. He also gave thorough and helpful advice about how to proceed. I wish we had got this company in much earlier.

After concluding that I must have a hidden leak somewhere under my solid tiled kitchen floor, I contacted several companies, including some well known names, in the leak detection business.

The Leak Detection Company (LDC) stood out as Claire, my initial point of contact, was more willing than others I had contacted, to understand the situation and was very helpful. After reading reviews about LDC, I decided to appoint them to find and fix the issue.

LDC's technician, Elliott, was extremely professional and, despite 35 degree heat, remained unflappable in his search for the elusive leak that he found was caused by a perforated copper pipe buried in the screed under our kitchen floor. Elliott had a methodical approach to the situation, had sophisticated equipment appropriate to the job, was careful not to cause too much disruption and managed to find and fix the leak during his visit. He was also a very engaging person.

Although Elliott was unable to find and fix the leak in the first three hours included in the fixed price quote, this was primarily due to the time taken to find the leak and, importantly, to eliminate other possible causes. My view is that the time taken accurately reflected the complexity of the problem.

Based on my experience, I would certainly use LDC again without hesitation.

Explained everything in layman's terms, (so I kept up as best I could), and done a really thorough job. Very happy as I had 3 plumbers that could not detect a leak. We’re really happy with the service we received from start to finish. Calls to the office to ask questions and make initial enquiries were dealt with in a friendly, helpful and efficient way. Jamie arrived bang on time on the day of the appointment , despite the long commute, and could not have been more helpful. Sourced our leak (we have a very long pipe that we are responsible for) in a few hours and gave great advice throughout.

I didn’t know where water was coming from but the plumber found it behind my washing machine, that had been installed wrongly. He corrected the pipe work and left everything very tidy!
