As a first-time buyer, I couldn’t have asked for a better estate agent than Tim at Mockford & Hunt. He was genuinely lovely to deal with,always patient, approachable, and happy to answer all of my questions, no matter how small.
Tim arranged additional viewings so I could bring my parents and went out of his way to fit early morning and late evening appointments around my work schedule. He even went over to the flat to measure the windows for me, which was such a thoughtful gesture.

What really stood out was how well Tim knew the property inside and out. Any question I had, he either knew the answer straight away or came back to me just a few hours later, even when it meant dealing with time zone differences (the seller was based in New York!). His communication and follow-through were spot on.
Although I didn’t have a property to sell, I could see how committed Tim is to his role—he truly goes above and beyond to make sure the properties he represents are sold with care and attention. I’d recommend him without hesitation to anyone buying or selling. If I ever do sell in the future, Tim would be my first call.

We had a really positive experience buying our first house with Tim from Mockford and Hunt. We were really struggling with finding a house that we loved due to our own fussy requirements, but it took Tim no time at all to understand what we were after and see our vision and find homes that suited us. He didn't inundate us with every property that came on the market, but tailored suggestions to our requirements perfectly. The home we ended up buying was one that he sent us the listing for before it even made it onto the big websites, and we snapped it up straight away. Mockford and Hunt work alongside a mortgage adviser and solicitors too, who they recommend to create a lovely little ecosystem where everyone works together in a WhatsApp group and the communication is fluid. We went with Mockford and Hunt's suggestions and were beyond happy with the service we received and the energy and dedication from all parties involved! We are well off selling our new home, but we will definitely be getting back in touch with Tim when we are at that point!

Big thanks to Tim, had a few ups and downs in the process but Tim made sure to liaise with all parties on our behalf and keep us updated throughout, ultimately ensuring the deal went through.

Tim and the team have been exceptional from start to finish. Tim contacted me within an hour of my enquiry and arranged a viewing straight away. We viewed the house that same week and fell in love, however we were dubious as we hadn’t put our house on the market. Tim put us in contact with the sellers and arranged for them to view our property, as he knew it was exactly what they were looking for. Long story short, they loved our property and we have essentially swapped! The whole process has taken only 8 weeks and we will be moving into our dream home within the next week. If it hadn’t of been for Tim’s advice and support, we wouldn’t be where we are now. The team were available for all queries via a personalised WhatsApp group, and Tim put us in contact with a great solicitor. We couldn’t recommend Mockford and Hunt enough!

From Tim coming out & agreeing a sale price we sold in 4 days. What a team. We were all linked on a WhatsApp so we could contact each other easily. Also if you choose to have Gamma Bath as your solicitor Tim puts her on the group & wow Gemma was even contacting us on a Saturday & Sunday. The process of buying a house can be very daunting. I really didn’t know where to begin, so I booked a meeting with Tim Mockford to see what I needed to do. He immediately put me at ease and, even though I felt no pressure to go with them, I knew I would be in safe hands with Mockford and Hunt.

I was selling a shared ownership property, which comes with some added complications, however they were in constant communication with my housing association and they sold my apartment very quickly. Charlotte was a great sales lady!

I have been quite a fussy house buyer! So I took a while to find my perfect home. I never felt pressured to ‘hurry up’ and they were very supportive when a few of my offers were not accepted.

The thing that sets Mockford and Hunt apart from other estate agents is their communication. The WhatsApp group is a game changer as one of the team will always respond in a timely manner. Frances was great at dealing with my queries.

Due to their excellent communication and recommending an excellent solicitor, we were able to complete before the stamp duty increase.

Well it has been an experience. Tim and Frances have been exceptional. From the moment we met the approach felt different and after being on the market for 8 months with no hope of success, Tim changed the approach and we are just about to complete.
The level of of contact has been brilliant. Setting up a WhatsApp group and including the solicitor is genius. If required the mortgage broker is included as well.
At all times Tim and Frances were contactable and responsive. Queries were answered quickly, it felt like we had a friend guiding us through the process. I’m not sure anyone likes the process of moving so it’s about making it as sensible as possible. Mockford and Hunt have achieved this and made us feel valued as clients. They pushed the other side when needed and supported us even when the questions from the other side were constant. An excellent partnership and would trust no one else with selling a house. Brilliant service with excellent people.
