The art of making simple things COMPLICATE
Once upon a time a small company was delivering simple and good services. Then they decided to go digital... And when you go digital you need to understand what you are doing !
The service became cumbersome, inefficient and even reaching stupidity.
You can't get anyone by phone, you receive dozen of needless emails clogging your mailbox.
You ask them to stop sending you marketing email, but they continue...
So I guess they will lose their clients.
NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR REAL EMAIL ADRESS, SPAMMING IS THEIR SPECIALTY.

2nd order, amazing service!
Really good experience using Maltashopper for the 2nd order I made - ordered items from stock mid week, furniture came the following week, was notified a week beforehand of time and date of delivery, then the delivery driver updated me 30 mins before delivery. The deliverymen are always very helpful and always help me take my items up to my apartment with the lift. The customer care team is very helpful and answers queries at any time of day. Items are great and I will be using this company again and again!

2 months in the warehouse
Our product had been in the warehouse since October, we got it delivered in January.
A delivery date was fixed in December, they were meant to come, which made me wait all day, however they were no show. Not a word, not a call, not an apology.
After multiple calls to try and get it delivered, we finally got it. Let's not forget to mention that Maltashopper asked me to pay for a €30 delivery (as the delivery was meant to be a Saturday although they delivered it during the week), that they never refunded.
This was the last time I ordered with Maltashopper.

It would have been proper for Charlotte to have specified that her original order was a "Pickup" order. She failed to collect her item from October to November, and we kept it for her, although our T&Cs say that it should have been cancelled and returned after three weeks. She is right about the missed delivery. The delivery person was found to be COVID-positive on the day and informed no one. As soon as we found out, we contacted all clients and explained to those who picked up the phone. She is also correct that her delivery was done mid-week (to get her the goods ASAP). We have refunded the difference in the delivery charge between normal delivery and Saturday delivery. I would also specify that every single email, call or communication by Charlotte was answered almost immediately. She would have received our apology for the missed delivery had she picked up our call.

Worst experience ever!!! The website is complete junk. It seems that you can place orders with items that are out of stock, no date for delivery. Bad traceability, it can be even in 100 years. And if the out of stock items are cancelled, you are charged 2%, so you pay for your nerves and lost of time.

We're sorry you feel that way. All your items except one item that IKEA discontinued were delivered or else on our next truck. You placed your order at the busiest time of the year, so, unfortunately, some delays will occur. Our Customer Care spent a long time explaining this to you, but you insisted on changing the rules to fit what you expected. Our terms and conditions regarding cancellations are well explained, and we keep clients up to date about the status of their orders.

Dorothy was extremely helpful. She deserves a 5-star! The reason I gave a 4-star rating to the experience is that I would have preferred to find the items out of stock online rather than ordering and then finding out I had to wait weeks for their delivery.
