I traveled nearly 100miles to view an “Approved Used” MINI Hatch (PJ71 YAW). The car was well presented, and I was really keen on the car. However when delving a little deeper into the car’s service history. John Clark was only able to prove 1 single MINI service in the car’s history. Given that this car is 4 years old and MINI recommended a service interval of 2 years, this rang alarm bells. It called into question whether the car was genuinely approved used. The sales manager claimed that there was evidence that the car had been serviced more then once in it’s life, but he didn’t have the paperwork, and even if he did he would not be allowed to show this to me. Without actual evidence of servicing there is an incomplete service history on this car. This called into question whether the car was actually “Approved Used”. During discussions regarding this, there was at one point 3 sales staff over at the desk with me, their tone became increasingly aggressive defending their use of “Approved Used” with no presentable evidence that the car had a complete service history. The whole situation was grossly unprofessional, the tone and manner of the sales staff on this day was completely out of line, at one point one of the sales staff tutted and walked away during a conversation. Customer service and professionalism was completely appalling. Following this I contacted MINI UK, who advised me pointedly on the phone that this car was not “Approved Used” and they offered to raise an internal complaint with John Clark on my behalf. I have also since raised a complaint with John Clark a week ago regarding both this car and the professionalism of the Tayside MINI staff, I have heard nothing from them.

Julie was amazing. Extremely helpful and informative. Made the experience very enjoyable when I picked the car up. Much appreciated her friendliness and professionalism too.

Recently bought an approved used mini from Dundee, treated like we were an inconvenience, total lack of information on approved used benefits ie warranty & details about the car, nothing explained we were literally just handed keys to take it for test drive. Collection was pretty much the same despite travelling a distance we had to fit in with what time suited the sales staff. There were numerous faults over looked on their checks that ended up having to be rectified at a dealership closer to home that still meant 2 x 110mile round trips to get the work done. If we hadn’t been taken with the car we would have walked away & bought elsewhere! Didn't even get a reply from the Salesperson on my last email asking for information she had previously offered. Dealt with Julie Patullo & her Manager Colin. What should have been an enjoyable experience turned out to be very poor sadly.

I liked how I didn’t feel pushed into buying as previous places I’ve been to are always straight over and asking lots of questions which can be a bit overwhelming. David was great.

Love my mini- I wasn’t sure how I was going to be able to buy a mini that was a couple of hundred miles away. But it was very straightforward thanks to Liam.

Liam McDonald made buying our Mini convertible a real pleasure. He even came into the showroom on his day off for the handover, which was greatly appreciated.

Mathew the salesman was very good and helpfull the car looked but the valeting for the interior of the car was very poor I don't think it had been vacuumed or dash cleaned
