Team were really responsive and helped greatly to make me aware of the new car as something I was looking for, then make the sale and transfer of my trade in easy. Great handover experience and detail of what was new with the car. Thoroughly recommended.

Edit/update: I am still being charged for old accounts that my dealer stated would all be dealt with on their end and no one informed me that I actually needed to contact people despite asking questions about what to do with my old gap insurance. Nothing has been done and I have not been contacted in regards to the poor service. Go to Dundee or Inverness and avoid Aberdeen mini.

I love my car but really didn’t love the sales experience at all. Everything felt as though it was rushed through when I was there and then nothing was being sorted out when I wasn’t. Very unorganised for paperwork, things were requested on the day I was collecting the car and then it made me feel stressed and rushed because the sales women had forgotten to ask for documents sooner, requested car specs were not put through the first time round, when I was asking questions about things like paper work (as I am very new to buying cars) I was told not to worry and that they’d sort everything only to find they hadn’t on the day of collection. I felt like I was a sale and nothing more, questions were passed off and it just always felt they were looking to get to the next customer. I often had to repeat myself or was asked questions to things I had already discussed which added to the feeling I was getting rushed through. Emails were sent without messages and just attachments of paperwork making it unclear if I needed to sign anything etc. I love my mini and my love for the cars will keep me coming back but I will make sure to have a different dealer or go to Inverness or Dundee instead. When I emailed with problems over finance however a different dealer responded and was great, they listened to me and answered my questions with patience and clarity.

Stepping into the showroom, it feels like quality, covid safe and a welcoming space.

The test drive was booked online and my i3 was ready and waiting. Out on the test drive, I was blown away by the power, styling of the cabin and how easy it was to get used to one pedal driving.

The i3 was all that I had read, viewed online and having test driven other EV, when I went back for a second drive, I was hooked.

My sales rep was personable, not pushy and explained all aspects of my purchase. Happy - yes.

The sales person we dealt with, Doug Coull provided an excellent service from start to finish. This is the second time we have gone to Doug and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new car!

I believe the motorcycle and car side of the business end up lumped together on review websites and this disguises just how poor the sales experience is from the bike customer perspective.
I spec'd and ordered a bike based on June delivery, but by late July it was not here.
The late bike is fine, but the poor communications is the key here and having left several messages for updates over the intervening period, I resorted to email just to give them one final chance to respond.
A week later with no response I finally decided to go elsewhere, cancel the order and immediately the deadly silence miraculously ended with a text from Simon showing a picture of the bike I had ordered now at their shop! I am afraid in this instance it was just too late as a deal had been struck elsewhere, but it just goes to show that just a single minute spent keeping in touch with your valued customers following a sale is the difference between a happy customer and someone else's customer. Poor show all round Aberdeen bike sales dept.

This is one of the most pitiful experiences I have had even more so when spending many thousands of pounds cash!!
They had ten days to get the car ready and still when I arrived the straightforward work and clean had not been done. They were very very evasive with the truth on the phone beforehand especially when I explained I was putting my trust in them traveling 1000 miles around trip to collect the vehicle. When I did drive off the brake light failed at the entrance! I could not be bothered to go back in - I would not even trust them to do that. Even though I had asked to be away within minutes I was kept waiting an hour and a half and I managed to negotiate a credit for their duplicity. More than TWO weeks later they had not paid it - it only takes 2 minutes as my transaction to their account took!
I complained to their franchise director Gerry who I would not pay in washers. He is the top man and entirely clueless or non caring when it comes to customer care. Not a clue! They were in the wrong and admitted it and said sorry several times but these are hollow sentiments and they are not prepared to put their money where their mouth is. Their FD Alan even came up with patronising stories to try and fool me.
Finally and only after threatening I was paid but they did not go any extra mile to help. I even included their chairman John Clark in the emails thinking he would be annoyed at the amateur and small minded way his executives behaved. He read the emails as I noticed the read receipt and as I stated I was only try to help him understand the behaviour that was being carried out under his name. Two days on he has not bothered to contact me which is not only disgraceful customer care but also shows the muppets that work for him can get away with it. As they say the fish stinks from the head.
They may be a large dealership and their chairman may have an OBE for being philanthropic but his care does not extend to staff training, pr and customer well being.
I would never darken their doorway again and I have never written a negative review before. They could have avoided it with some common sense and good grace but hopefully this will hit them where it hurts - with a few car sales!

The new car transaction was seamless,part exchange price acceptable and the replacement arrived slightly late but external factors to blame.
The hand over process and introduction to improvements from our old model presented professionally and we are delighted with the product.

A prompt reply to my enquiry and explanation of the vehicles and deals available. He made enquiry about my existing vehicle and PCP contract. He came back the following day with an update on my contract and we agreed to take matters forward

Have used Nick Garvie at John Clark for many years and purchased several cars from him. Nothing is too much trouble , always time to explain different functions / specs.

It is therefore always special buying and receiving the car.

My latest is an X3M - supper piece of kit.

I have been buying cars from John Clark for many years and have always found the Sales Team to be honest. If people understand that every organization has targets then you realise very quickly that deals offered are there to help them as much as you.

Each location has costs that require to be managed and maintained and that can be reflected in the price differences in the regions.

I have always found JC Abz to be very good!
