H&A Appliances appears to be a scam. Avoid. We checked them out first, and finding them listed at Companies House, with accounts up to date and in order, assumed they were trustworthy. So
we placed our order (for a new vacuum cleaner costing £301.56) in good faith with H&A Appliances on 28/11/22 and received their confirmation e-mail, saying delivery (free) would be on Wednesday 7th around 5pm. They said the delivery driver would ring us in advance to check we were at home. Our payment was processed through Mastercard (Paypal was not offered) though we noticed it was listed as haappliances; but we thought nothing of it. The time came and went - no phone call. Neither of the links they included in the confirmation e-mail worked so we had no way of contacting them. Nothing the following day. So we did some more digging. A different company called haappliances was closed down in 2019. That's when we rang Mastercard for help and advice.

Complete scam. Didn't receive my goods. Same as others have mentioned, they will give you a delivery date, fail to deliver and then you'll never hear from them again.

I too have fallen for the scam. Ordered a Bosch Tumble Dryer on Black Friday which was due to be delivered last week but was 'apparently' sent to the wrong address. A partial refund of 10% was offered with a promise of delivery this morning. Have tried contacting the company via phone and e-mail but no success reply.

An update from my previous review about this Company who have scammed so many people. The old registered address for this business was put up for sale on 9/11/22 and is now sold subject to contract. He has applied to strike off the H & A Appliances company from Company's House as others have said. I assume so that he can disappear off the face of the earth with our money? We should use people power to get this sale stopped and assets ceased so he doesn't get away with it on principle. Although, I suspect the house isn't in his name? Doesn't look like a repossession so the Marketing Agent shouldn't be helping this fraud/criminal activity

Ordered and paid for TV which has never arrived. No reply to emails and merchant website no longer viewable. Have reported to bank as fraudulent transaction and I am hoping I will get my money back but don't know yet.

Should have read the reviews. They confirm your order, give you a delivery date a week in advance, (5.0 pm), doesn’t turn up and you can’t contact them.
Weirdly, they haven’t taken the money!

Another one fallen for the scam. Ordered a PS5 was meant to be delivered today but can’t get on the website or get in contact with them. I have contacted my bank to try and refund the money. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

The same situation happened to me, just like everyone else. I ordered tv on the 23rd November, was told It will arrive in 5/7 days. On the 1st December they emailed me and said that it was send to the wrong address. They told me it will be redelivered today, the 8th of December at 5pm. It never came. I went on their website and it’s not loading, not working at all. I knew it was too good to be true only to find out how many other people they have scammed. I raised the issue with my bank and hopefully tomorrow, I can get my money back. People are so evil and should not be allowed to create fake websites.

I too unfortunately fell for it, even though reviews were good on the website. No delivery, i was emailed that it had gone to wrong address!, so opted in to waiting for it for 7 days, never arrived again today, tried to call but can't get through and the Web pages are not loading. Informed my bank and it is now under investigation the bank also informed me that this was the second scam today. In future I will check reviews on here!!

Very clever web sites, reviews (now know that they were lifted from Curry’s), additional links for setting up a personal account, enquiries, complaints, etc. All very professional, even competitive prices. Confirmation invoice complete with full details and helpful info’ to the unsuspecting victim.
*DO NOT USE* as with others it never arrived, the web site pulled, Companies House registration pulled! Even Trust Pilot reviews? Luckily I used my bank Visa debit card so have been refunded in full by my bank and notified Action Fraud today! My bank statement payment states that he is a ‘ladies clothing manufacturer’ with a location of ‘Meco’ lol😤! He clearly works on the fact that two thirds of people except their loss and don’t bother chasing or reporting it (Multiply that by hundreds and thousands of people … then the small businesses suffering through lack of trust because of his deceit!). After the shock, horror, shame, embarrassment then came the anger. Don’t let him get away with it!!

Total scam, please be warned, gave them over £300.00 for a fridge freezer, didn't arrive, sent me a text saying my order went to York....I'm in Hertfordshire! Thankfully was reimbursed, don't go anywhere near this company.

For anyone who got scammed here, I suggest you email support @ stripe . Com as they are the payment gateway company these scammers use and report the details above so hopefully all of their fraudulent transactions can be reversed!

H & A Appliances is a scam I ordered an Asus lap top. Was told 3 times had been delivered to a different and wrong address each time. Managed to block payment with AMEX.

I'm with nationwide bank and having trouble trying to get my money back has anyone failed to not get there money back from bank?

Scam. Reported to the relevant authorities. I managed to get the refund from mastercaes via credit card company. Make sure you make your bank or credit card company that don’t wait for thirty days but get the money back as the company is trying to be liquidated and send the links for companies house and also these reviews for them to do their investigation.
