I purchased my second hand Peugot and my personal aftercare experience is shocking. I called several times chasing my second key that I was promised would be sent out to me as they were unable to locate it on the day I purchased, paid for and collected my vehicle. The staff themselves appeared friendly and I would highly recommend not to pay for the vehicle you intend to purchase until you are completely happy and checked everything over.
On a side note, the vehicle value of ca £20k was not even valeted which was promised and was handed over to me post a quick 5 minute car wash only on the outside.

I purchased a service plan from CarStore, which also includes service locations from their sister company, Evans Halshaw. I was offered this service plan when I bought my car from CarStore Ipswich in 2023. The plan includes two services: one minor and one major. The minor service was completed in April 2024, and the major service was conducted on April 14, 2025. The major service should have included both the engine air filter and the cabin pollen filter.

During my visit to the Ford Service Centre Wolverhampton, which I booked online (service while waiting), I had to wait four hours for the service to be completed. After the service, I checked the air filters in the car park and found that neither had been changed. I returned inside with the dirty filters to ask about this. I was told an excuse that the money I paid for the service plan two years ago was not sufficient to cover the cost of the filters.
This is unacceptable; it shows very poor customer service.

I enquired on a vehicle on the Evans Harshal Ford Wolverhampton site on 25/03 and shortly after my enquiry received a call from Pavan with the details of the vehicle.

He committed to sending through photos and a video on Wednesday the following morning but those were never forthcoming.

After my initial call with Pavan, I paid the reservation fee to secure the vehicle.

I received a call from Pavan on Thursday to say the vehicle had major mechanical issues and would most probably be sold off to an auction company, but he would get back to me with further details. Needless to say I am still awaiting this feedback.

Thereafter I contacted Kate, the Used Car Manager on Tuesday 02/04 who told me that someone else had reserved the vehicle and although there were some mechanical issues, those were being resolved for the customer.

Clearly two different stories and some smoke and mirrors but either way Kate committed to getting back to me with clarity regarding this and the refund of my reservation fee. It's now two weeks since that conversation and there is still no word from Kate.

Their online booking system allowed me to pay the reservation fee after my conversation with Pavan who confirmed the availability of the vehicle, yet someone else is able to reserve and buy the vehicle or have I just been spun a story?

Further if the vehicle is no longer available, how is it possible that three weeks later I am still awaiting the refund of my reservation fee?

I have made numerous attempts to get hold of the dealer principal Andrew Qualters but he is in never available and communication to his email address has a delivery error.

Kaitlin Hill as the sales executive who I saw after making the decision to change my car was fantastic. I could use so many superlatives but she was so knowledgeable, helpful and patient as I decided which car to buy. I didn't even consider I should go to a different dealer. Before retiring I worked 26 years for a finance company and knew many car sales people. Some very good some very bad. Kaitlin is up there with the best.

I recently bought a ford mustang from a ford garage in Hastings (who have been brilliant through this process)
unfortunately I started to have issues with the car (weird noise when turning and when I was revving the car going along the road there was no power), Hastings was to far way for me to travel, so took it to Evans Halshaw ford store Wolverhampton, what a mistake that was, they first did a diagnostic test to find out the issues with the car. through this process there was no communication from them regarding the car and I had to ring up many time to find out if the car was ready for pick up due to never being called back. once it was done they said it needed spark plugs changing and mounts and bearing changing on the front suspension as well as the hand brake adjusting, which didn't make sense as the car had its spark plugs changed 12months ago, and when I turned it sounded like the noise was coming from the back. anyway after back and forward with phone calls due to no one ever getting back to me and that they wanted the other site to pay for the repairs which again every time the other site would call them no one would return there calls so had to confirm it by email. the car was finally booked in for this Thursday, again no phone call to say the car is ready, got there and picked my car up and was assured that all the work was carried out. got in the car and the noises was still there hand brake had not been adjusted and the revving with no power still happening, I believe the work has not been carried out, or if it had there advise was wrong on what was the problem with the car. I went straight back into the store who said bring it back tomorrow. I refused and rang there manager up in morning about the issues and his attitude was well we picked this car up from another site it is what it is. everything about this place is wrong from the customer service to the sketchy people who work there, and I think I'm not the only one looking at the other reviews. on the other hand dougie and his team from Hastings have been brilliant and are now collecting the car to rectify the issues. a lot of people say bad things about main dealers but I think this review shows that there are some really bad ones but also some really good ones, my only wish is that Hastings was closer to home.

Scammers, that's all I can say about them. I wanted to buy a Ford S Max car from them, I told them that I would take it on credit and that I already had a car loan in my bank. I was supposed to buy the car on Saturday, so on Friday I called them to give me their bank details so that I could start the transfer and when I arrive on Saturday, the money would be in my account. I spoke to Elizabeth, she told me that I would come on Saturday and we would sort it out on the spot, that there would be no problem. When I came to them, I wanted Elizabeth to give me their bank account, I was told that she would do it on her laptop, that it was safer than on my phone, in the end it turned out that Elizabeth wanted to cheat me, she wanted me to take a car loan from companies that work with them. If I took their car loan, Elizabeth would get a commission. They are simply scammers, I lost money because of them to come to them, because I had almost 3 hours of driving. I didn't buy it on Saturday because the money transfer hadn't arrived yet, when it arrived on Monday and I wanted them to bring me the car I bought on Monday, I was told they could only bring it on Tuesday morning. I canceled the purchase because I believe they are scammers and swindlers. After canceling the purchase I still haven't received my refund. The scammers are holding up the transfer of my money.
