This company is harassing people. The whole team is in it together. Everything written on their site is a lie about helping people. Even if you explain your vulnerable and financially struggling. The don't care you can even be on edge of life the will not care. Its a shame they are making people with mental illness feel miserable and stressful then helping.

Staff are very inconsiderate and unprofessional. If you call customer care, they will direct you to the staffs that clamp your car, and likewise the staff as well. Very unprofessional

They sent me a text saying I have an outstanding bill, which is bs.
Suspect it's a scam text so didn't click the link.
No prior mailings to my address, so it's a phishing expedition.

These people are unprofessional, tell lies and misinformation. They are rude and put the phone down on me when I tried to challenge their harassment of a vulnerable woman with a severe mental disorder. I also spoke directly with one of the enforcement officers who answered the phone aggressively and spoke like a roadman. This is not how you deal with vulnerable adults.
All of this for a TV licence.

It is imperative that regulatory bodies and the government scrutinise companies operating in this manner, as their current practices appear to be inconsistent with the principles of a democratic society.

I initiated a dispute regarding my account several weeks ago and, despite sending three follow-up emails, I have yet to receive a response. Furthermore, my outstanding balance has inexplicably increased during this period. Such tactics exert undue pressure, bullying and are particularly detrimental to the British public, especially amidst the current cost of living challenges.

A representative from an enforcement agency, with whom I spoke by telephone, acknowledged the need for increased regulation of companies such as CDER. This individual shared a concerning anecdote about an elderly person on a fixed pension who was driven into significant debt without adequate support, highlighting systemic flaws within the current framework. Terrible organisation taking advantage of people.

Appalling company, extremely unhelpful rude staff. I received a demand fo payment that I do no owe, explained this. Response? Not our problem , are you going to pay now? Very threatening attitude.

I received an enforcement notice for TFL on the 27/7/26 for 2 unpaid TFL penalties on the 19th dec 2025 -even though I have an auto pay, which has been in force since 2015, I contacted CDER group and the man on the phone was really pleasant and advised me to contact TFL - TFL weren't interested as it had gone to court, it turns out the 1st penalty notices were sent out to my old address on the 27th Feb26 and returned as "unknown at this address" on the 2nd March2026, (I moved on the 28th Feb) 9 weeks after my auto post failed!!!! The other ones were sent on the 27th March 2026 also returned on the 4th April as "unknown at this address" my vehicle registration was updated to my new address on the 3rd March. This went to court without me even knowing I had these penalties - I have an auto pay and travel in and out of London on a regular basis! Many times since the 19th December 2025.
I contacted the court, they were very helpful and advised me to fill in a PE2 & PE3 form for each penalty, they emailed the forms to me and asked me to return them asap and advised me to contact Cder group and explain to them what was happening - however the man on the phone was aggressive and nasty and shouted over me trying to explain to him what had happened, before telling me I was clearly a crook and trying to avoid payment and hanging up on me! I was so frightened they were going to turn up at my house in a threatening manor - I went on line and paid the full amount

I would have given 0 stars but wont let me, I tried to sort a payment plan as I am disabled and only have income based on that but the baliff Mr wyte said he was going to break in to my flat with a locksmith and take mine and my daughters possessions, my daughter is 12, I know i owe the debt and offered payment but still the same outcome, local authorities should stop using these scum people the harassment is terrible

I worked in customer service for 10 years and this is shocking!

I have spent time reading up on Citizens rights and legal due process. I would advise you to do the same before calling.

Calls are recorded but i guarantee you will not be able to receive the recordings because employees lie and threaten to force payment. When you highlight that something they've said is incorrect or even illegal they become aggressive and quick to hang up.

They will tell you incorrect processes and information in-order to trick you into paying on their terms.

Contact your claimant and speak to them directly.

Report this company to the financial-ombudsman the first chance you get because they verge on criminal.

I have told this company numerous times that I am vulnerable and stated law they cannot legally come into my home due to this. They still continue to harass me and tell me they’ll come into my home and seize goods without the proper warrant and despite me also informing them I have Citizens Advice dealing with this they still bully and harass causing extra stress. Not surprised on the one star rating and have already gone to the ombudsman requesting financial compensation for the stress and anxiety they are causing me. If they tell you CA can’t help they’re lying and if they only have a warrant of control they cannot legally force or bully their way into your home. Look up your rights, what they can legally do is limited and they will bare face lie to you to scare you

Have been chasing me wrong debt linked to someone who I have no record of ever living at my property. I, in response, provided coucil tax to prove I am not said person. They still send a baliff anyways, who was, very professional but still decided to bang my door down while my kid was sleeping.

Am now in the process of making a formal complaint with aim to escalate under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 and for this continued harassment of me and my family.

This company it’s absolute scam!

I never expected to be given advice that could have affected my legal rights by a company acting on behalf of a local authority.

During my communications with CDER, I was repeatedly told to pay first and then appeal. Enfield Council’s own published guidance says the exact opposite: once payment is made, the case is closed and no further appeal is possible. If I had followed CDER’s advice, I could have lost my right to challenge the penalty.

I was also told that my appeal stage had ended, despite Enfield Council confirming that my appeal had been successfully submitted and was awaiting a decision.

This experience left me feeling frustrated, confused and completely let down. When a company is involved in enforcing legal debts, accuracy is essential. People should be able to trust that the information they are given about their rights is correct.

I have submitted a formal complaint and requested that all call recordings and communications are reviewed. I hope CDER takes this seriously so that nobody else receives the same confusing and potentially harmful advice.

Appalling company , offer repayment was refused, text & call daily even on a SUNDAY , even though the system reads we should call back on the Monday THEY STILL CALLED AND TEXTED Saturday & Sunday
Staff must be reading from a script their online system is absolutely worthless .
Council should read their reviews & cancell contract , I've written to the council to with all my concerns as I'm so overwhelmed by there relentless calling , I've put forward a reasonable & realistic payment plan , which they have ignored , this is not a company that the council should be dealing with.

This company and ULEZ London should be ashamed of themselves. How can any of you staff work for this company? Do you enjoy STEALING people's money? So you enjoy knowing that your disgusting actions have devastating consequences on people's lives! You claimed you'd sent multiple letters to our old address....but then you slipped up....you dropped yourselves in it by telling us that in fact you had our CURRENT address but sent NO correspondence!! You are thieving, dirty, crooks! How these get away with this I don't know? But anyone wanting to know...they will diddle you out of your money and they lie!!! They are All corrupt!! And so are the staff that work there!! They charged us £600 for an unpaid UlEZ fee....which we thought wasn't a ULEZ zone. That fee....£12. Sent letters "apparently" to an old address that we'd not lived there for 5 years, and claimed it wasn't their fault! Yet after phoning back, they then stated they had our current address in SCOTLAND!!! They knew all along!! So why not send letters to the CURRENT address??? Bunch of disgusting humans. Be warned you guys....they're crooks!!!

this company that feeds off the misery of others put a letter addressed to somebody else at a different address through our door, hand delivered and supposed to be signed for. I've just called them, told them, and thrown the letter away as have no intention of doing their dirty work for them and delivering it to the correct address. what a bunch. the address is so obviously different it almost seems a tactic to deliberately deliver to the wrong address in order to catch out their victim

Dreadful company. Sent a parking violation letter to my tenants address for someone that moved out 5 years ago Advised of the above information to someone who basically wasn’t interested or bothered and they wanted a copy of the tenancy agreement (against gdpr rules). My tenants rang them a couple of times also and again got an abrupt and rude experience. Then an enforcement officer called on my tenants at 6.30 am and she was shown the tenancy agreement. My tenants were told they wouldn’t hear anymore. 3 days later a letter arrived confirming enforcement officer had visited and next time they would seize goods !!!!!tenants rang again to be told letter was written the day before the officer arrived !!! This company should be struck off

Easily added arbitrary fees, ignored evidence of disputed charges. Only out to get money from people who can’t afford it! Likely the epitome of predatory debt collectors. Please tax the rich and put these horrible people out of work.

Plastered all over their website they are “here to help” yet their bailiffs are intimidating bullies. How they can justify putting arbitrary charges for hundreds of pounds on top of small fines for literally no reason is beyond me. How does a £30 fine go to £395? How can you justify those ridiculous amounts when it’s cost you nothing? Current complaint in progress and will take to ombudsman after. This company is disgusting and making profit from it.
