I ordered my motability car from Brayleys - the service was excellent throughout and I am very pleased with my new vehicle

Have dealt with Brayers ex Coupers for several years and found their Sales, Service and Parts team are all excellent and honest. Hyundai vehicles 6 x Ioniq Hybrids have proven to be very reliabile which helps.

Ok so I bought a 2019 i10 from an approved dealership . I have had so many issues it’s unbelievable. Firstly the air filter housing was broken and after much time wasting and no appointments at Hyundai I had to collect the parts and pay a third party garage to fit. Then the fan belt went and guess what? Yes collect belt and have it fitted at my cost. Now I have a misfiring problem oh and I waited 2 months to get a warranty appointment so basically couldn’t use the car for 2 months. Took the car in yesterday and was told that in order to correctly diagnose my problem I would have to pay for new spark plugs then they could proceed with whatever the problem was as plugs were not a warranty issue. I basically told them that I have had enough of Hyundai and their poor after service. I was told well they have a different approach? Anyway being extremely frustrated I said I wasn’t paying anymore money and collected the car unfortunately the problem was much worse, why is anybody’s guess. I had a very long drive home and rang them to say look the car is now totally unusable so could they please sort it out. I have left several messages for Mr Jon Law at the dealership and yet to receive a response. I would like to express to all future Hyundai buyers to be aware that when you have purchased your car if anything goes wrong you will then understand what a nightmare will ensue.

We picked up our 2nd car yesterday from hyundai in St Albans. We had a lovely man called Lewis helping us and he couldn't have been more helpful he looked after us so well and was very professional throughout the process bending over backwards to make the transition smooth and simple explaing everything in detail making sure we understood everything and we were happy with everything we will definitely be back

Fourth Hyundai purchased. Good part exchange deal, all finance arrangements etc. well presented and explained by Lewis who looked after us well. Arrangements for swapping dash cam from old vehicle & and provision of boot liner only things stopping this from being a 5 star review

I am just stuck with them due to proximity to my house. Apart from this there’s no joy taking my car to them. It might have nothing to do with them, but I despise Hyundai and everything about them. When a company’s after sales customer service is shitty; every other thing copies from the top. I can’t wait for one year to return the car and have peace of mind.
