I cant say enough anout the help I recieved from the Wsley Team. Erika helped us get through all of the red tape of Deeding Back our Timeshare we had for 25 years. I cant say thank you enough to her and rhe company for all.of their help.

Very disappointed with WFG. We were told this would be a easy process and that they were there to help. We were told all about their success stories etc...We paid them $9000 and got started...then it hit me, I HAVE TO DO ALL THE WORK. WFG is just a coach. Hey im a handicapped senior citizen who's had a stroke and here i am paying someone to sit on their butt while I struggle to get out of our timeshare...after a month I gave up. I called our contact and said I can't do this anymore and we are done. Hexsaid well you still owe us your other half of the $17,000. I said we are onlyva monthbinto this, you've already got $9000 .... he said sorry you need to pay or go to collection. Well i paid...I thought about it and feels that this is not right. This group is typical of most timeshare exit companies in that they make you pay a big fee up front, in our case $7497 for them to do everything to get us out of our timeshare. We provided all the background information and then they proceeded to tell us to go directly to the timeshare company to see if they would help us exit. We did that and were able to surrender our timeshare back to them by paying a $1200 fee. Wesley did nothing apart from 3 phone calls to us telling us how good they were and all they were promising to do. They did nothing on our behalf with our timeshare company. When I asked them to pay the $1200 fee in lieu of all the work we did, they just laughed us off and said that not how they do business. They are a scam organization preying on seniors trying to get out of their timeshare.
They claim to be pioneers in the timeshares exit industry. If they were they would heave a sliding scale of fees for services, they provide starting with a review of client circumstances and if they suggest going directly to the timeshare company and it is successful then end of story. If additional services are required, then they could charge according to the amount of work or possible legal representation needed to get them out of the timeshare. At the moment they charge a huge up front, non-negotiable fee and they sit back and do nothing, making you do all the work. I wish I had have done my homework and read the negative reviews about Wesley before negotiating with them, but they come across deceptively and being an above board schemingly friendly group with religious background overtones. My advice to people is go through your timeshare company first; our was very accommodating and helpful. Would have saved us a lot of money and embarassment dealing with Wesley. They are fraud.

After initial consultation, my timeshare was cancelled in six months. Wesley Financial's staff was very professional and kept me informed every step of the way. Once my timeshare company agreed to cancel, I received a follow-up call monthly from staff until it was actually transferred back to the timeshare company. I encourage anyone who are considering cancelling, contact Wesley Financial Group for consultation.

It took almost a year and about $10,000 to be released from a Westgate timeshare that I have had since 2001. I was paying over $2000 a year for maintenance & taxes. The cost will take about 4 years to recoup, but I'm glad that I took the hit now since I just retired & did not want to leave the burden to my children. Wesley financial were great to work with and kept me updated periodically through the process. The initial cost was around $7500, but plan to pay another $3000 or so to the resort to allow the release, as well.

Our camping timeshare just cancelled our contract with the help of Wesley Financial in just about 6 months! The staff were really helpful and provided assistance along the way, always checking in with us and making sure we were comfortable with the process. I highly recommend this group. One would think that investing in a timeshare would be a beautiful, however it was a nightmare. Promises made and not fulfilled, along with so many other things. Julie from the very beginning has been incredibly helpful and supportive. She took the time to listen to our frustration, explain the process and answer all our questions.

We paid Wesley Financial Group to handle the cancellation negotiation with Hilton on our behalf. Their fee alone was about as much as our actual timeshare mortgage loan — and that's not what we got for it. Over more than a year, we were the ones making the phone calls, drafting talking points, and pushing things forward — while Wesley mostly sent us letter templates to sign our own name to.

What really concerns me is that some of those letters, sent to Hilton under our name, contained things that were flat-out untrue — a fabricated relocation story and a claim about contacting a foreign consulate that never happened. When we caught it, their own staff admitted in writing it was an error on their end. That's not a small mistake when it's going out as an official letter representing us.

We eventually resolved the timeshare mostly through our own persistence, not theirs. Wesley likes to point to the fact that the timeshare is now cancelled, as if that settles the matter — but they conveniently leave out how it actually got cancelled. It wasn't their negotiation that closed it out, it was ours. Pointing at the outcome while staying silent on who actually did the work isn't the same as earning credit for it.

When we went back to ask for a fair refund given how little of the promised service was actually delivered, Wesley would not own any of it. No accountability, just a token offer nowhere near reasonable.

We've now filed complaints with the BBB, the Tennessee Attorney General's office, the Washington State Attorney General's office, and the FTC. Do your research before signing with this company — you may end up doing the advocacy work yourself.

Wesley spelled everything out from the get-go. They evaluated my case according to their process and let me know what they could do for me and what I needed to do. It took a bit over 5 months to release me from my timeshare obligation. In that time, they updated me as needed, and with very little effort on my side, I found myself free. I did enjoy the staff.

Your reply doesn't match what actually happened. The enrollment agreement outlines your obligations too, and you didn't fulfill them — the actual negotiation with the timeshare company was done entirely by me, not your team.

You mention a "team-based approach" where different specialists assist at different stages. What that actually meant for me was that my specialist stopped handling my case partway through, and I had no consistent point of contact carrying my file forward.

The timeshare being cancelled is not something your team accomplished. I made the calls, sent the emails, and repeatedly rewrote the letters your team drafted before sending them. The resolution happened because I negotiated it directly with Hilton myself.

None of this is addressed in your reply — you're not acknowledging any of what actually happened on your end.

Paid $6,295 expecting Wesley to negotiate my timeshare cancellation for me. In reality, I made every phone call and did all the negotiating myself — they just sent me email templates to copy and send under my own name, some of which contained fabricated information about my personal situation that I had to catch and correct myself.

My case was reassigned to three different specialists over 16 months, each time starting from scratch. When the timeshare was finally cancelled, it was because of a letter I wrote myself, not anything Wesley did.

When I asked for a refund and documented these issues in writing, they refused twice without ever addressing the actual problem — that they never negotiated anything on my behalf. $6,295 for a handful of email drafts is not a real service. I've since filed formal complaints with the CFPB, BBB, two state Attorneys General, and the FTC.
