These signs are beautiful and we'll worth the money Ours took 6 weeks so be patient but they are hand painted not just filled in where the mood allows The good side of lockdown is they are up on our gate posts now and didn't wait another 6 weeks for himself to get around to it

Quality, we had been searching for the perfect house sign for our new house.

Village green signs produced one which was exactly what we wanted, hand painted and particular to our house name.

Recently received an email from this company to review a recent purchase of a painted house sign. As I have had this request from the company I will leave a review of the sign and the issues with the sign. As both a painter and a musician I am involved in the creative process on a daily basis. My take on what I produce in both spheres is to remove any rough edges and refine all the elements to such an extent that the work or piece shines with each element reflecting attention to detail making the piece as flawless as possible. Even when this means redoing certain aspects of the music composition or the composition of the painting being worked on. Forgive the long winded description. The plaque which I received did not, in my opinion, reflect either the examples on the company website nor the description of the meticulous approach of the 'artist' producing the plaque. What I recieved was paint spattered in places with visible heavy brush strokes which detracted the eye from other parts of the piece which were finished quite well.To cut a very long story short I spoke with a member of staff and pointed the above issues out which were agreed. The very personable member of staff was helpful and after one or two telephone calls it was mutually agreed that a percentage of the monies paid would be refunded, which duly happened. My advice was that perhaps sending one or two photographs to clients of the finished item would alleviate any areas where improvement might be needed and any alterations made to the clients satisfaction thereby eliminating potential dissatisfaction with the aesthetics of the piece. This is deeply important.

A fantastic company. I ordered two house name signs for new properties we have just built. The beautiful signs arrived quickly and were wrapped beautifully. Unfortunately one sign had been damaged in transit. I contacted Village Green Signs and they sent a replacement immediately. This company supply a wonderful product and excellent service.
