My order will have been placed nearly 3 weeks ago next Monday and I have not had one single update from you. When I track the status of my order it still says ‘Order Placed’, so absolutely nothing has been done with it so far. I have sent 2 emails requesting an update and so far no reply. I’ve tried calling, but that is a waste of time as you just get an automated message saying nobody is available to take your call and to leave your details. This sign is supposed to be for a Birthday present on 24.03.2021. What are the chances of me actually getting it before then?
Due to the lack of customer support and the fact that my order is still at the ‘Order Placed’ stage, then I would like to cancel and receive a refund for the full amount please. I can appreciate we are all living in strange times at the moment and I can also appreciate that production will possibly take that bit longer, but what I don’t appreciate is the lack of communication. If you can reply to reviews on here, then you can reply to Customer emails.

Our sign arrived very quickly, even in these strange times, and it looks very stylish, attached to our cottage. I can’t believe the quality for the price - very impressive!! I can recommend Village Green Signs, unreservedly.

I have just received my house sign today and I have to say it is absolutely beautiful, the detail and quality of it is amazing, I can’t believe how quick it was to arrive, especially in these strange covid times and coming from England to Ireland. Throughout the whole process of it been made and hand painted, village green signs kept me updated with emails. Thank you to all in Village green signs for the making and delivering of it. It was a pleasure to deal with you.

UPDATE, definitely a risky company to order from if anything goes wrong - as expected, they refused to refund, or even consider paying back some of the profit margin that you might reasonably expect for a personalised product that cost a lot and is of too low quality to use. They claim because it's personalised they don't have to make any refund, and clearly they believe they can deliver any quality and use that excuse. Wish I'd been more aware of their approach beforehand as I'd have never ordered from them. An expensive waste of time, and the type of service I thought most companies had moved on from. So several weeks, out of pocket, and no sign that's worth anything other than taking to the skip. AVOID if you don't like taking such risks. Also very quick to reply to a Trustpilot review, when they didn't find time to reply to a support email, so their approach to customer service leaves much to be desired.

I'll avoid this Company at all costs, going forward. If it works out for you, then fine. If not, they don't reply to emails, and point out the product is personalised - while that might give them a get out from the Consumer Contracts Regulations for distance selling, it doesn't protect from something being unfit for purpose. Guess it will take a while to get our money back, but as they don't reply to emails, it could be a very long time. The products on the website look good, the reality was very different for us, at least. I did wait to review in case they wanted to address the issues, but apparently they don't bother with that, may be down to Covid and staff availability but impossible to tell. Really disappointed as the products do look good. Think we're just unlucky as many seem to have had a good experience.

Order 8633 - included the Trustpilot response when I emailed support so it could be linked

I received my sign a week ago. Unfortunately it was damaged with scuff marks on the plate and lettering. I was also expecting it to be less of an intense matt finish as I thought the resin would overcome this. I received a response the following day offering to take it back. However having waited 6 weeks and living in the ROI I offered a suggestion for a solution to this. Sadly there has been no further contact.

A prompt, friendly and efficient service and a really lovely sign. I just want to sit outside admiring it. Thanks soooo much

Date I received the product from date or order was very long. However when product revived, was of the highest quality and excellent finish. Constant communication between myself and Bonnie so never left in the dark re delivery

This is an update on my previous review.

After a long wait my sign has arrived in France. It is fantastic... Worth the wait though being kept better informed on progress would have been useful. I was wondering if I would ever get it but I have and it is lovely. Thank you

I’ve given the company 5stars as the product is fantastic and we’re really pleased with our new house sign. I will add though that my order was placed in July and it’s only just been received. I will admit that communication has been pretty poor and very frustrating at times and something that Village Green really needs to address as it will put future customers off. I don’t think this deserves them loosing a star over though. I do also think that people need to remember we’re living through a very strange time at the moment and life is no longer as instant as it used to be.

We put our order in 10 weeks ago on 26th June 2020. We had confirmation of our order but on the ‘track my order’ page we are still only being shown as ‘Order Placed’. I emailed the company 2 weeks ago to ask when they would actually cast my house sign and when delivery is likely to be expected but to date no reply. Not happy that the only way to contact the company is via email, as their Live Chat is non functional, but they don’t reply! Very disappointed. Be wary of this company!

I ordered my house sign from Village green sign the beginning of May and even tho it only arrived the other day due to current circumstances, I am delighted with my sign. I ordered the Ceramic House Sign. and the colours are vibrant with lovely clear letters you can see from a distance. This sign adds character to my home. Thank you guys at Village green sign 😊

I ordered a sign on the 04/06/2020, order number: 000006829. The order had not progessed. I have since tried to contact them by phone and through their support email. I have yet to have any replies. I have now had to contact my bank to investigate the matter. Not impressed with the lack of costumer support. I have read other similar comments other the last two weeks. If you are unable to fulfill orders you should not be taking them.

We ordered a house sign from Villagegreen signs and it was very easy and not complicated. Even with delays with the Virus, the sign came very quickly and we are so delighted with it, lovely clear letters that can be seen a long way off and the price was very reasonable.Very good company to deal with.
