I was misled as to what artwork was possible on my oval wheatsheaf sign. I was assured that the artwork on their image on the website could be achieved on my sign. I even asked production to be stopped whilst they checked. The artwork is much smaller and not of the quality on their image rather insignificant and out of scale with the wheatsheaf motif. I contacted them on arrival of an email requesting a review and asking that if there was a problem I get InTouch. I sent them images and the email trail showing I had been misled but was offered no resolution but had my review request cancelled! I am therefore doing a trust pilot review just to share the fact that a template of the sign including the artwork needs to be requested on ordering a sign. This I currently not a procedure on offer and therefore I would never order from them again.
Since my review has been published Village green signs have said they offered a resolution which I categorically refute. You state that communication between us broke down which is not true. You refused to take any responsibility even after seeing all the facts. Your reply has been formulated to leave yourself as having done all you could to resolve the matter but actually you never even tried. I am unhappy with my sign but I can live with it and
hopefully my review will be a lesson to others to do some research and read a companies reviews before using them.

I ordered an oval resin sign with crossed flags (Canada and UK). I am over the moon with the finished result, it will be travelling with us to Canada as a thank you gift for our son and daughter in law when we stay with them in September. It took a while which I knew it would because the signs are hand painted and the website quite clearly states that the lead time is 6-8 weeks. I asked when mine would be ready and it arrived 3 days before the due date. If you want a sign in a hurry you won't get it here but you won't be disappointed with the end result. The sign is perfect, the customer service was good. I can't fault them and would definitely recommend. If you want to know how long your sign will take, read the delivery terms or just ask!

I ordered a plain oval house sign from this company last year, it took 2 months to be delivered and when it did turn up, it had air bubbles in the surface face which made the outline of the numbers look bad. I complained by email including photos and was told "there's nothing we can do about that, it's part of the manufacturing process". I wasn't happy and left a poor review. SO a month or so later, I had a phone call from a new manager at Village Green Signs, stating that she would have the sign remade for me. They have sent me a new sign and it's much better quality, the surface is smooth, clean and the numbers nicely finished. I admire the new managers integrity and thank her for paying attention to customer concerns and the details that can make a poor experience better. My sign is now up outside my house and I'm happy with it.

The items shown on the website they don’t actually sell. They sell “bespoke” but totally different items. So be ware the website is not accurate

These items are not 'off the shelf', they are bespoke so please respect the leadtime of manufacture and be patient as the end result is very very much well worth the wait.
The end result blew me away, fabulous product. I would recommend Village Green Signs without hesitation.

My 6 year old could do a better job! Terrible quality, took ages and the letter painting was awful! The plastic mould had marks, the letters weren’t the same size and it was just such poor quality I was amazed they felt they could send it as it was!

I complained the same day it arrived and they tried it on advising it was a personalised order and couldn’t refund. I managed to get £20 off and threw it away so wasted £30 which I would have much rather given to charity than a company who are useless!

A beautiful sign. Very pleased with the final product, so vibrant, just gorgeous. We had a bit of backward and forth working out with the team the best design for the size template chosen, communication was always fast. Worth the wait. Thank you

The sign we received was such poor quality, the painting was missing so many details and looked nothing like it did on the website. Features I expected to be on the sign like the colour shading, details of faces, it was all missing. People on the sign were painted as blobs with no faces. I nearly cried when I received it because I waited 3 MONTHS and had to keep chasing it up constantly. When it finally arrived, I heartbrokenly shared it with my friends and family who thought it was hilarious because it was so bad. I have posted it back at my own expense and they are refusing to refund me. Poor service, poor product, definitely avoid and spend your money elsewhere. Speaking of money, it was SO expensive but I would not pay any money for what I received. Avoid!!!!

Sign worth the money paid if delivered next day but not worth a wait of more than a week let alone several months

Received our house sign about 3 weeks ago. We were both highly delighted when we opened the well packaged parcel.
A lovely house sign - very vibrant coloured Wisteria flowers which were painted expertly by a talented artist.

Took just over two months from order to delivery, so don't place an order if you want it quickly.
We only wanted a floral design and two numbers added, and the numbers are off vertical, leading to an slightly wonky install. Appreciate it's hand made, but quality control may be lacking. Otherwise, the final product looks nice, the floral design was well made. Overall, mixed experience.

I ordered my sign on 8th June and it eventually arrived 12th August. As I only wanted three numbers on my sign I requested in my email that the design fill as much of the remaining space as possible. Sadly this seems to have been totally ignored and there is a lot of blank black space, There is also a small cut in the rim and a small flaw on the face. The quality of hand painting is excellent but only covers a small area. Overall I am very underwhelmed and would not order again.

Ordered a house nameplate in May. It arrived a couple of days ago. Over two months to wait which was a bit frustrating BUT boy was it worth waiting for! It has exceeded expectations - we love it. Customer services were very prompt to answer my questions re. order status. Be patient, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing Company, Used village green signs to do a sign for our air bnb beside the coast and asked them if they would be able to paint a little lighthouse as the property looks over one, the team were really helpful and more than happy to do this! We've had lots of compliments about the sign its a real conversation starter! Couldn't recommend enough😁👍🏻

My experience with Village Green Signs has been outstanding over many years and three of our homes (and I live 4,200 miles from Village Green Signs).
But the best part of the "Village Green Signs" experience is the outstanding customer service. The staff is attentive, experienced and quick to respond to any inquiry you may have.

I received a mock up image of the final design before the order was processed to be sure it was what I needed. The sign was then delivered to schedule. The actual sign was better than I had hoped for - because I needed a lot of lettering the raised section had to be reduced, but the remaining flat areas were covered in images of the strawberry plants. I was really pleased with the result

Whole experience was good from start to finish. Easy discussion by email prior to confirming order, and proof copies sent prior to comitting to manufacture. A bit disappointed by limited choice of font (only 1!) for our particular style (cast resin oval) but that can be expanded as the company grows. In the event, the font looked fine, and we are very pleased with the final product, delivered on schedule and very well packaged so no damage in transit. No hesitation in recommending this company for *your* bespoke house sign.
