I would heartily recommend Vertu for buying a quality used car and would definitely, and in fact will, use them again when the time comes. We were helped to buy the right vehicle by a member of staff called Dominic who was, in every sense of the word, excellent and highly knowledgeable. He was professional but also highly personable and genuinely friendly. We felt reassured being in his capable hands and he made the whole experience so easy for us. It's been a long time since I bought a car from a dealership and wasn't sure of the process but Dominic certainly knew his stuff and we are now the proud owners of a quality used MG and very happy with both our purchase and the service provided.

Buying a new VW at Vertu, Crosshills/Skipton is always a smooth, stress-free and enjoyable experience- I’m on my 5th car from them so that says a lot. Everything was explained fully by Pete and other members of the team. I was able to call with follow-up questions whenever I needed to and nothing was too much trouble. The showroom is always gleaming and the staff are friendly yet professional. Highly recommended.
The servicing department are also excellent.

I wasn’t sure at first about buying a car by just looking at it online, but Dom explained everything to us in great detail and so we went ahead. It turned out that our fears were unfounded and we are now the very happy owners of our new ( to us ) Dacia Duster. The trade in price of our vehicle was also fair and no haggling was needed. We would, and hopefully will, use them again.

My car is currently at Vertu Nissan Northampton awaiting repair under warranty for a fault that developed within 2 weeks of me buying the car on 01/10/25 from Vertu Vauxhall Skipton. Some of this work needs to be authorised by you, I have emails and text messages where you have said you would pay for this warranty work but you are not taking calls or messages from Vertu Nissan Northampton. I have been waiting patiently since October for this work to be done and despite the car being in the garage for 7 days they cannot complete the work without your authorisation. Please could you contact Vertu Nissan Northampton to enable this work to be completed.

Where to start. I bought a second hand Mokka a year ago, 6 months after the purchase it was due a service, they found an oil leak (which was listed as an advisoryon the previous MOT which they did) but not on the 12 month MOT I received with the vehicle so I presumed it had been fixed. I took the car back in so they could find where the leak was coming from. I was then informed that the timing chain needed replacing, which would cost slightly less than what I earn in a month!! We negotiated a payment plan and the works was carried out but I wasn't given any paperwork as they said they didn't know how to work it out with the payment plan, I took the car back 2 months later as it was still leaking oil, this work was done at no cost to me because a seal had failed. Because I have now lost trust in this company I took the car somewhere else for a MOT, I'm pleased to say it passed however there is still an oil leak.
As it stands I would definitely NOT recommend.

Bobbie, Vertu saleswoman, was very professional with a personal touch.
She did not push us and left us to browse at our convenience.
She explained all the features of the vehicle we were interested in both before and on the test drive. Everything was explained clearly, part exchange and additional cover on the new car, she kept in touch with us all through the sale and pick up. The personal videos were an extra special touch. Very happy with Vertu Skipton .
