TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, I emailed about a car and they phoned me with in 10 minutes from south shields which I found strange because I called Vertu Renault Gloucester, however I said could you ring me back in 30 minutes please but they didn't bother, so I emailed them again 2 days later and within 10 minutes they phoned again from South Shields saying they will send me a video of the car from Vertu Renault within a hour, 2 days later still nothing, how these people can say they are retailer of the year is joke. I will take my custom elsewhere because these people don't want it.

I had a few issues with this garage last year and was debating whether to move away after being a customer for over ten years. But Matt really put the trust back in them for me. A very honest and helpful salesman who delivered a new Duster in a amazing time and a great car. I was excited to pick this car up and the experience was great. I am very happy I stayed with these guys, its not just about the cars they sell but the people you deal with. I went for a lovey new Dacia Duster Hybrid that doesn't cost the earth, is cost efficient and lovely to drive. Thanks Matt your a credit to the team.

Well, from the time I walked in to actually collecting my new car was a very enjoyable experience. The salesmens name was Alan Dix and nothing was to much trouble, plenty of tea & coffee on hand to. And Wayne was on hand to help too if your looking for Renault i would highly recommend this dealership.

I arrived at Vertu Renault Gloucester knowing that I wanted to order a brand new Clio. What made my experience great was that Georgina, who compiled my order, was very knowledgeable, friendly and completely focussed on customer service. It took about an hour and a half to order the car. Fortuitously, I was able to drive away in it, just 22days later. Vertu makes excellent use of technology and logistics. This meant that Georgina was able to quickly identify an available Clio at another Vertu site and have it transported to Gloucester. The trade-in of my old car, and the registration of my new one, was expertly administered. Thank you Georgina and the Team at Gloucester, for your amazing attention to detail. Well done!

The service was awful. They are clearly lacking good workshop staff and have a huge backlog of work. The Ad blue sensor failed putting the van into a count down resulting in the van being imobilised . Only able to start by bump starting.
It took two and a half weeks to book the car in. They refused to pre- order parts for the job. Then ordered the wrong part. Ten days later finally looked at the van to find it was wiring damage not the sensor. Fixed it and charged us £280 as it is not covered on the warranty,
The Computers on the vans are locked so only a Dacia main dealer can access them. This means our local garage is unable to re -set the imobilisers. During this time another van has developed the same problem. They cant book this in until the 30th of January. they have refused to even look at it to re- set the imobiliser so we can use the vehicle in the mean time.
The staff in the dealership are out of there depth, inexperienced. they are in an imposable situation.
Dacia are clearly unable to back up there vehicles and need to allow other garages to access the computers so they an work on them.
A great shame as the vans are fantastic for our job as farm vehicles with four wheel drive.

This dealership has dramatically gone downhill.
The service is diabolical, service manager has no manners and does not know how to politely communicate to customers - definitely power tripping as the words come out their mouth abrupt and quick with an air of "I don't care". You can never get your vehicle booked in, in a timely date, due to never having competent staff to carry out basic works, no courtesy cars available - there is a waiting list. The way I was spoken to by the service manager on Saturday, who "only came in due to the workshop being cleaned" and complained to me about that, their lack of empathy and service really upset me. I will never bring my vehicle Renault ever again, I can't wait to get rid of it as it is a constant reminder of poor customer relations.
The General Manager has left and the Service Manager earlier in the year. Really sad as they knew how to look after the customers and cared.

The car was booked in for an irritating creaking noise to be investigated. They had the car for 1.5 days, unnecessarily changed a part and returned it to me having not dealt with the problem at all. For a main dealer that's very disappointing. I have subsequently had the car sorted by another garage (offside front lower wishbone bolt loose).
UPDATE
It's probably not edifying to have a running commentary here but nobody called me back. Make your own mind up as to why this company receives almost a third of its reviews as 2 or 1 star.
