We were delighted with our experience at Vertu Exeter. Initially 'walk-ins', unsure which car we wanted, Countryman or Cooper, petrol or electric, but Charlotte took care of us from that first meeting and helped us navigate through the alternatives, the test drives and the ordering process with care and humour. We were kept informed of progress, we always felt that we mattered and that there was always someone overlooking our situation. Handover was completed in typical Charlotte fashion; we never felt rushed, attention to the detail of our needs was given and we drove away very happy customers. Once we've got to grips with the incredible tech, we know that we can go back to see Charlotte to fill in any gaps in our knowledge and understanding; sometimes it takes more than one explanation for it to sink in! Thanks again Charlotte, we would have no hesitation in recommending you to our nearest and dearest!

First class service. From my initial visit to the show room and meeting Charlie (Charlotte) I was confident that my experience was going to be good. This was my first motorbility car and Charlotte was very knowledgeable in explaining the process. I’m a mini fan having had 4 previously but Charlie’s passion and enthusiasm for the brand is compelling. I was considering other models but once I saw the latest model I knew I’d have to have another new mini! She showed much empathy in understanding my restrictions and needs of my disability, she guided me through the features and benefits of all the different options to find my perfect car. She is incredibly patient, customer focused and a great brand ambassador. At 60 years old I’ve brought many cars but can honestly say Charle provided my best experience ever. We bought a brand new mini in Vertu Exeter, we arrived early to find the car sitting outside with a 50cm tide mark of mud all around the bottom of the car! They said that would be all cleaned up.
Arrived another day to collect the car, all shiny and new in their showroom with flowers and wine, but both my husband and I had a good look underneath the car to check and it was all covered in dry mud!
We had a hurried hand over from Ben with scant information of how to set up the car. Since then we have had repeated loud revving up a hill, down a hill and on the flat. After 3 months this has been explained away by saying it was on a ‘go car mode’! What the hell is that and why wasn’t it thoughly explained by Ben. Meanwhile a lovely lady did finally come and set up the car for us 2 months after we have bought it.
We have asked for the video footage of the cars’ arrival, and the delivery pictures, fearing that there is flood damage (how else do you explain the even mud tide mark?) but with no success, apparently they have been erased! We have been to the General Manager, the Brand Manager and the New Car Sales Manager. We have wasted so much money and fuel going back and forwards to sort this out. We had hoped that as people in our 70’s this would be our final car and a satisfactory purchase from such a reputable company, well not this time!
I had the unfortunate experience of the worst customer service at this dealership.
Having arranged a viewing to meet Ben, the salesman for a test drive of a mini. Having been informed by Ben to arrive at 12.00 so that I could gain the ultimate experience and info on the car as he had a handover at 13.00. Having rearranged client meetings I arrived at 11.45. Met by the lovely Lesley(receptionist). 12.05 arrived no sign of Ben, informed he was running late. 12.15 arrived still no sign of Ben or manager. No apologies or explanation. I subsequently left at 12.18 and I asked Lesley for the manager to call me. As of yet no one has contacted me. Appalling, unprofessional and discourteous customer service. Avoid at all costs.

What a change to discover a dealer to whom customer care and assistance are the main priority. To be fair the introduction came from CarWow, so thumbs up to them too. Vertu agreed to all the pricing that CarWow had suggested and then went the extra mile with added features (PodPoint Home charger for one) and beat the trade in value for my current Mini by £2000!
Charlotte, my sales executive was amazing!
Nothing was too much trouble including picking my new car up from Cornwall, leaving me a courtesy car and returning the next day with my car!! I think I had inadvertently turned the lane departure feature up to max steering wheel vibration,and it was vibrating the whole time even when I was within lane!

Charlie (Charlotte) from Exeter Vertu Mini was always on hand to answer our questions but also to make the experience a positive one all the way.
It was also nice the sales manager made sure we were happy with the service before we left with our lovely new Mini…..
