This is the second Motability car that we purchased through Vertu Motors Hyundai Nottingham, and we felt as well advised as we did the first time.

Avoid
4 hours for a pre-booked minor service
Warranty claim for a genuine defect took 6 months to process- fobbed off through entire process
Ruined my faith in purchasing another new car
All 4 midlands Hyundai dealers to date have been poor and Hyundai Customer service UK is non existent
Warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on-

I recently picked up my new car from Vertu Hyundai Nottingham, and I cannot recommend them enough. The entire collection process was smooth, professional, and really exciting.
A special thank you to Michael Kuainoo. He looked after me from the initial order all the way to the final handover. He kept me updated throughout, and on collection day, he took the time to make sure I was completely comfortable with the car before I drove away. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
I'm thrilled with the new car and really appreciated the top-tier customer service Michael provided. If you are visiting Hyundai Nottingham, definitely ask for Michael.

The process was straight forward and within a week I was able to pick up my new car. Dillion sorted everything for me, connected my phone up for me and showed me everything I needed to know. Purchased a car from Dillon at Hyundai Nottingham branch. Great sales person, helped us pick the right car. When picking up he made sure to show us everything we needed to know and answered all our questions before we went on our way. Great service, highly recommend.

I was greeted by Josh who offered me a drink and discussed my requirements and options. I selected the model of car best suited to my needs. Josh checked my car and printed out an offer for a part exchange deal. I said I'd take it away and think about things as I hadn't fully decided on a Skoda. There was no pressure to complete the deal and Josh invited me to contact him with any questions. The next day I contacted Josh by email to accept the offer. We arranged a pick up date, organised a deposit over the phone and Josh then sent all the details regarding payment. Any forms to be signed were sent by text and agreed by 4 digit codes. A week later I picked up my new car. The whole experience was relaxed, straight forward and unpressured. I was introduced to the Sales Manager, Chris, who thanked me for my business, asked if I was happy with everything and presented me with flowers and champagne. I am more than happy with Vertu, Nuthall Road.

We had issues with the used car we purchased. Issues began at one week after pick up and we have been into the garage over 12 times now in 2.5 years.
Luckily most of the big issues are warranty jobs. But each time we had to wait weeks for an appt and there was always trouble getting hire cars.
It was so inconvenient and I have lost trust in both the brand and this dealership.
I have now taken the decision that the car is too troublesome and I don’t trust it so am getting rid despite being in negative equity.
Based on my experience I will never touch another Hyundai ever again

I am not new to Vertu Motors but something more peculiar is the mannerisms of the man I met who took me through the pros and cons of getting it right when selecting a very my choice. He was an African man by the name of Michael whose smile seemed infectious and persuasive during my meeting with him. He was very polite, supportive with good listening and empathy skills shown having regards to support needs. I should score him 150 over 100. Vertu motors had really done great.
