I've been struggling with network since Friday late and spoke to 5 urgent and all of them they said my matter is escalate to technical team still waiting until now😭 My heart is broken I've been with rain for 4 years and I've never experienced this but this time is struggle

I have been happily using Rain for the past 4 years but now, all suddenly my network is facing critical high latency and package loss so using the internet is no longer optimal for gaming or working from home.
I call Rain Support, 0816101000, and requested assistance to troubleshoot and resolve this inconvience.
3 days' worth of troubleshooting(from Friday till today) and still unresolved. I have been told, as long as I see download speed over 50Mbps (download) and 5 Mbps (upload) the network is working fine from their side even though my latency is over 1000 ping.
Basically, there is nothing else they can do to assist me further. Very disappointed with the service and will be moving to an ISP that can actually fix Network problems.

I have been told by 3 engineers that they have "fixed the issue" by restarting the router and confirming my device is connected to the correct tower.
I understand this is troubleshooting steps, but they all tried the same steps and didn't raise it internally as the issue is still persisting with constant package loss and high latency.

The worst service provider I have ever met. Don’t want to come take their router yet they are busy charging something that is not working. They are very quick to call regarding payment yet they don’t attend to the issue. Why must I pay for something not in use

My rain router just went dead, since 28th of February. Called rain more than 10 x, even today I am still waiting for the replacement router for over 23 days. But they debited on my account even though I can't use their service. Their after service sucks. Even when they call you don't get any solution. I want my money back, we are going for another month end without wifi.

Since I got rain the internet keeps dropping. I tried to contact them on whatsapp and thats useless, they keeping asking the same questions and creating tickets but no one gets back to me. Service is shit , support is shit. Only the sales call you back fast when they want a sale. Dont waste your time getting rain because they will tell you the area has 4g and 5g coverage but they dont tell you their service is 1g or less. They do the same thing a few times everyday. They try rebooting they make me put it off put it one and still the internet doesnt work. No one gets back to me. Its frustrating and very annoying to deal with them. I have a few reference numbers but lets use this one and I see now that I put you this platform, you responded. Also I called and spoke to one of your agents they tried to connect me to a different tower but still the reception was bad. I know for an email whereby you guys are saying the internet is down in our area and I'm connected to another tower but thats not true because when I spoke to your agent they said they connecting me to a tower in Lenasia. I am Tinyiko Sibanda and im using rain.I paid rain from capitec app as i always do, then they debited from my tymebank app. I was not owing them. When I asked for a refund of one of the payments, the billing specialist called Lila said they do not owe me. I kept on going back, Lila said the same thing. I want know where did my extra payment go to?

Rain is a good example of corporate scam and fraudsters and my advice to anyone thinking of using rain must think twice because even after cancelling their services they will keep on deducting money from your account

I am beyond frustrated with the pathetic level of service from Rain. After they double-debited my account, I was told three days ago the matter would be "investigated." Since then, there has been zero follow-up.
I even placed a call to their support team in hopes of accelerating the process, only to be given a reference number that seems to serve no purpose other than to end the conversation. A reference number (44832996) doesn't refund my money or provide an actual update.
It’s been over 72 hours of radio silence on a financial error that should be a priority. To be ignored after specifically reaching out to speed things up is incredibly unprofessional.

Terrible service I received from their SA agents. First of all I waited 16min to speak to a representative, when I got one she/he wasn't responding I had to drop the line and call again. Waited another 5min on the line for a billing that I made yesterday but it wasn't located to my account. Sent Proof of payment yesterday already and I was told to wait at least 2-3hours but still nobody reached out. I'm working from home and I had to be absent yesterday and today, I might even lose my job because of rain. You will lose customers.
