The inverter fan is very loud and never stops running even when the battery is fully charged. The only time it’s quiet is when there is loadshedding. Seller stopped replying to my questions about how to correct the settings (if it’s even possible) and manufacturer does not reply to emails. All in all, terrible after sale service

As discussed in November, the size of the inverter is not design to be installed in an apartment but rather in a garage or a separate room as a 6.2 unit is generally used for large homes or businesses who run big loads. We do apologize in the slight delay in response due to the increase of call, email, WhatsApp volumes receive over black Friday. We are working seamlessly to improve and have a much smoother Black Friday this year. Settings are generally done by the qualified installer the customer appoints, unfortunately our inhouse technician was also overloaded with assistance queries over the black November period. We do hope that we will be able to serve you again in the future.

The battery I purchased is a 4.5kwh Fivestar lithium battery but max output is only 2.88kw. This does not meet my requirements however there was no reference to this on the specifications shared in the online store. I now cannot return the battery as it is used which is really frustrating because the specs should clearly call this out. Disappointing from Macsell.

Thank you for your feedback, as communicated on Whatsapp : "I understand, if the item has visible signs that it has been used then we will not be able to take it back, if the item is 100% without any signs that it has been used then we can exchange it for you ."
We did offer to exchange the battery although against our refund policy, so we are not sure why you would now state that we were not willing to assist and exchange the battery.
We were willing to accommodate and assist as best as possible, it's rather unfortunate to see the false comments made.
Please note that none of our batteries on our website state the maximum output nor does any of your competitors websites , we try our best to provide all the necessary info on our products which can be asked about prior to a purchase being made.
