Solar panel arrived with damage due to inadequate packaging.

I ordered a solar panel knowing that it would be shipped at my own risk, as I'd had no issues with previous orders from Solar Warehouse. However, I would never have accepted that risk had I known the panel would be shipped with little protection and was delivered with just a thin layer of plastic and bubble wrap.

The panel arrived damaged, with the glass partially shattered. While I understand that courier damage can happen, my biggest disappointment is that such a fragile item wasn't packaged more securely in the first place.

The customer service team explained that responsibility lay with the courier for the damage and with their supplier for the packaging, so unfortunately there was nothing they could do other than say I had been "unlucky."

I'm now left with a broken panel that I'll have to replace at my own expense. That's particularly disappointing for a product that's expected to last 20–30 years.

I've chosen to leave a 3-star review because my previous orders have all been positive. My advice to others is simply to be cautious when ordering solar panels unless you're comfortable accepting the risk.
