We bought a riser/recliner chair.
We bought a riser/recliner chair about five years ago. It seemed very good at first but after a couple of years it stopped working. Elite sent someone out who told us we needed a new motor, which would have cost hundreds of pounds. My son-in-law tested the motor and told us it was working g fine. He then took apart the control unit and found a wire had come loose. He soldered it back in place. Cost? Almost nothing. Recently we de idea to move our furniture around. I already knew (but had turned a blind eye) that the metal base of the chair had left rust stains on the carpet. Someone is coming to try to clean them off tomorrow. Update to follow.

Bunch of con merchants that prey on elderly people that live alone. Conned my elderly and very ill uncle into paying a massively inflated £3000 for an electric scooter and another £400 for an extra power bank. Don’t let them rip off any of your relatives
If you look at their website and go to…
If you look at their website and go to the part about us it says their prices can't be beaten and that is because they charge the highest price and nobody can beat their higher prices, you would have thought they meant that they have the cheapest price the way they say we can't be beaten but if you read the reviews they are the dearest especially to really old people. They claim to be honest and will answer emails within 24 hours which is a lie because I have emailed them 3 times and they haven't replied once. They have one of the worst reviews for a mobility scooter place for the disabled people but it's more like they are ripping people off especially those who are in their late 80s and 90s because you only have to see the reviews from people who found out that they visited their parents while nobody was there and they seem to charge double which is disgraceful behavior from a company who claims to be a good cheap and honest disabled mobility shop.
I would recommend that you go elsewhere because I went to them and it was like a stressful and disappointing service they provide to disabled and elderly people but never trust them alone with your elderly parents. They provided me with the wrong tires and buckled one of my rims because it wasn't like that before they got there hands on it
Rip off merchants and untrustworthy
My vulnerable father was visited by one of Elite Mobility's travelling sales persons. He was in effect conned into buying a mobility scooter bearing an Elite Mobility logo for circa £2000. The real maker sold similar models for about one third of Elite's rip off price. To add insult to injury the scooter stopped working properly and the firm sent some form of a technician to offer advice and means of sorting out my father's problem. I witnessed the visit. After the visit I/we got a second opinion and in effect Elite had deceived us. My father died shortly after. Please note we could not add in the correct date of our very bad experience but it was in fact a few years ago. Avoid Elite Mobility. They are not to be trusted. I do not normally leave reviews but this firm genuinely appalled me in the way that they allegedly ripped off an elderly and vulnerable male.
Rang for a home visit
Rang for a home visit , no info with brochure as what paperwork would be required by Elite. Over a year later and several lies informing me Insurance Co finally agreed to me having a scooter through my PIP. Was told by M.Hall that he would contact me next day & Im still waiting. Originally picked Scooter from brochure but informed it hadn’t joined the Mobility Scheme. Much later I contacted Elite & informed another Company were selling it. M.Hall then said he wasn’t going to be doing mobility scheme anymore. He never rang me back and I would like my PIP Mobility paperwork back. One minute last conversation was we can collect you & take you to Showroom, & final conversation was our Insurance Co. has accepted you but NO we can’t bring you to Showroom. He was supposed to ring next day - but nothing. I missed the cricket season & taking my dog out. Any excitement was demolished by M. Hall.

Over inflated retail price of scooter sold to my elderly mother at her home
This company sold a Zeo Sport lite mobility scooter to my 87 your old Mother at her home address whilst she was alone, for £1500 over the shop retail price. Fortunately my Mother did not know she was taken advantage of, as this only came to light when I contacted the shop after her death to find out whether they buy back and the retail price and resale value of the scooter for probate. They told me it retailed at about £2000 (they don't publish their prices on the website). They had pretended on the invoice to be giving a good part exchange on her existing scooter of £505, but they had inflated the total price of the new scooter to £3500. I don't think my Mum even needed a new scooter as hers was only about 3 years old, but at the time I just thought if that is what she wanted to do then fine. It was only when I found the invoice after her death and having spoken to the shop regarding the price and value that I realised they had taken advantage of my Mum. I have emailed them seeking an explanation, but have not received any reply. I have also reported them to Trading Standards.
As far as I can see. - They are a first rate outfit
Their sales people are very knowledgable, very patient indeed and they are kind..
The scooter recommendation was bang on. Delivery likewise.
The scooter itself is excellent
Lets hope they keep it up, the signs are good

Fabulous company
The person I spoke to on phoning the company was caring and compassionate. My mum needed a chair to meet her needs following a stroke. I was well informed and they immediately grasped what was needed for her.
Ryan visited my mum and was incredibly kind and empathetic and listened to mum and was able to advise on a chair for her. Ryan and his college came back at a letter date and took measurements and allowed mum to choose which chair she would like. Mum wanted to try a chair out, so they went and got one.
The team made every effort for mums chair to be delivered before Christmas and succeeded. The chair has made a massive difference to her quality of life, providing her with comfort and reducing the swelling in her joints as she is now able the elevate her legs. This in turn has improved her level of mobility.
The company did not make us feel under any pressure and were kind and empathetic throughout - I would highly recommend them

Very Rude and Un Professional
After trying to get some technical Support for a very expensive £10K Medema Mini Crosser X2 that they supplied, I was literally shouted at down the phone by a very rude lady. I have never been spoken to like that and I can see why they have now lost the Medema franchise - suggest to look elsewhere for a more friendly and professional company to deal with.
Terrible Customer Service - Buyer Beware
Without my knowledge my 90 year old mother bought a Zeo autofold scooter for £3249 on 31st January, she px'd an Amazon scooter that had only been used 3 times and cost nearly £900 to which they took off £349 of the total cost. Matter of days later she took a turn for the worse and subsequently passed away on 5th March. I only found out about the purchase a few days before her death. I emailed the company about her death and asked about a refund, but after a week they still hadn't responded. Their policy is to only accept returns no more than 14 days after purchase which they have to do by law, so this was 3 weeks later than the deadline. They have rigidly stuck to this policy as I asked if they would show some compassion and refund some of the money. I didn't ask for all, which they refused. They could have made a good profit as the scooter still had the plastic on the wheels and never used so they could have sold it to someone else for full price. All they offered was that they would honour the warranty for the year if I am able to sell it privately.
The spineless Directors never even bothered to talk to me on the phone which I had been told twice that they would call. All I got was an email. Absolutely no customer service at all. Disgusting company.
Oh and having just tried to find out the cost of the scooter on google search, as they don't advertise the cost on their website, it brought up another company selling exactly the same scooter, not the same name, however all the photos match for only £1799.99. Looks like the salesman was rubbing his hands with glee for fleecing an old lady out of a lot of money.
Five star service
We are so glad that we found Elite Mobility to help us negotiate the pitfalls of buying a mobility scooter. Michael came on 20 September and spent two hours showing us models that might suit my husband's requirements. He also brought along a folding model that we had initially wanted to show us that it was too heavy for us to lift into the boot of our car.
Brian was equally helpful when he delivered the scooter on 5 October and ran us through the assembly and dismantling procedures again.
Subsequent queries were dealt with very efficiently.

Expensive unreliable problem solving
Expensive unreliable problem solving, diagnostic & servicing service.
2021 bought a quickie jive electric wheelchair from Elite in Staple Hill Bristol. Was told that it was an unwanted order, now discover it was also used as a demo chair - should have been told. Problems with batteries over the last few months and chair cutting out after 1 mile. Have been charged on numerous occasions for home visits £49.99 each time (apart from one), one worker told me it wasn't my charger - said he'd tested it, another came and told me it was my charger and they were unable to test it. He then took the charger away without asking me first and said he "gave me another charger" - Elite in fact sold it to me -£49.99 for the visit to deliver new charger and £99.95 for the charger which retail elsewhere for £50.00.
Will never use Elite again.

Elite Rip off Disable people, Scooter owners Bewear
Elite mobility arranged to pick my scooter up and fit a new motor and deliver my scooter back to me. I was not contacted by them telling me that you were going to change my batteries. I would not have given permission for them to change my batteries because they were just over a year old and would not have agreed to them being change. I would not have known that they had fitted smaller batteries if they hadn’t come to fix the scooter socket and taken the seat and cover off. Clearly they were relying on me not realizes when the cover was removed that the batteries had been change to smaller ones. They admitted their wrong doing because when they phoned to ask if they could pick my scooter and trailer up to sort out the trailer socket out. I complained about my Batteries and the wheels and tyres I was told you would fit them back on my scooter. When I got my scooter back they had only fitted the wheels and tyres not the batteries.

This company sold my father a mobility scooter which was over priced - I subsequently wrote and emailed them to ask why they sold this particular model to my father seeing it did not seem to be the best model for him but they have failed to respond to my contact nor engage with me (I am his son). I would be wary about using this company and recommend a responsible adult is present when their salesperson calls
