HEY THERE! My situation is a bit different from these other reviews. I did the following: 1. Applied to several jobs(4 by now). 2. Passed CCAT and aced all assessments with flying colours. 3.... Mehr ansehen

My experience with Crossover (been…
My experience with Crossover (been three for 2 years and counting);
Crossover is a unique company to work for, not only because it is 100% remote but because it offers the stability and benefits of a large corporation combined with the creativity and flexibility of a startup.
You can learn a lot very quickly in a very short time. I feel challenged every day, and that keeps me engaged and motivated.
Managers are brilliant and driven, very hands-on, and accessible.
Compensation is great.
There are many possibilities to move around within business units/departments, giving you experience in many business areas.
If you are interested, focused, and hard-working, they offer fast career progression (doubling your salary)
The team is incredibly passionate about its work and is always looking for ways to improve its products and services.
If you're looking for an exciting, challenging, and rewarding career, Crossover is worth considering!
bad corporate culture
not a serious company, bad corporate culture. a waste of time
A total joke of a company with a…
A total joke of a company with a massively flawed assessment methodology. I have a dozen successful years in senior marketing roles. Applied for a VP of Marketing job. Was presented with a bizarre 15 minute SAT style test that isn’t remotely related to anything in the marketing field. Result was that I did not score better than 85% of people out there and therefore I am disqualified from applying for 6 months. Total waste of time. I have hired 50+ people over the years for sales and marketing roles and never in a million years would I evaluate them based on whether or not they can quickly tell me the the next number in a series or choose the image that does not belong in a group of pictures. Total nonsense. I also now see no way to force them to delete my information, which they should know is illegal. Anyone up for a class action?
I don't believe in them not being biased
I don't believe in them not being biased. Because I have evidence I got maximum stars on the test. Way more than required. But never called to interview for any role
Things to Know Before You Apply!
Crossover appears to be a very technologically advanced outsourcing platform servicing companies seeking the top 1% of candidates who are lured by incredibly high salaries. It utilizes an AI-based application tailored to its customers' needs.
However, the application process is a bit questionable. At one point, I was asked to change my computer's security settings in order to allow Crossover to ensure cheating wasn't taking place during the language proficiency assessment.
After easily passing the mini-GRE and jumping through the hoops to secure the language proficiency test, I didn't score high enough to complete the application after simply repeating sentences and verbally answering simple questions. Seriously, I've been a language arts instructor for 20yrs. Maybe the AI doesn't care for a Southern accent. Who knows!
When I tried to delete my profile, I realized that I didn't have that option and that the link to my resume didn't pull up the PDF but linked back to my hard drive!?!
When I did a search to find out how to request the deletion of my entire account, I read multiple complaints about their use of spyware that takes periodic screen shots of your computer screen. What on earth?!?!
Beware!
Fishy
The idea sounds good, but the behaviour is fishy.
They offered a job posting with an unusually high salary (about 50% higher than the average) but eliminated my application without reason.
So you end up spending hours applying, doing all kinds of non-relevant to the job tests just to be eliminated without any reason.
AVOID APPLYING AT ALL COSTS
AVOID APPLYING AT ALL COSTS - Do not be tempted by the fake salaries they mention as most of their jobs are inactive, they make you jump through hoops and go through several aptitude tests that they themselves cannot pass. Once I passed all stages and got to interview stage, they didn't even respond and just send automated responses. The worst part of the process is the job related tasks which they expect you to carry out in impossible timeframes and once that is complete there is no feedback from anyone as to what they reviewed. The biggest con is I tested them with a google sheet with my application response and it was never viewed and yet they claimed to have reviewed the application. Just goes to show how awful they really are.

I really spent age to complete the very very complex profile ... I felt I'm applying for FBA position ... at the end they are worthless ... I strongly recommend anyone to NOT waste his time
Crossover mission
This company has a mission of providing remote work opportunities worldwide. They take care of management, payments, trainings, onboardings. They offer very good rates.
Selection process is challenging, but I really don't understand how you can blame anybody based on that.
Bad data management, sketchy.
to begin with, they are in breach of GDPR (EU and UK data protection) they do not allow the right to be forgotten, or at least they hide it well.
They wanted to management consultant for 100k, but the questions came across as a telesales, they did not require any management consultant experience in their selection process. But a 2 years in telecommunication and that was the key requirement....not the industry experience. Just seem sketchy.
Trying to remove my data or even correct it, they get server errors. the website seems very basic and has glitches.
I really am dissatisfied with the service. I would avoid.
Crossover - Top 1% talent from around the world
I was selected by Crossover last year and I have been working there since. I failed the test once and got selected on my second try. There is very less job security because you are competing with the top 1% best talent in the world. Just because you were not selected does not mean the company is not legit. If you gave up means you could have never made it through training in this company. I love working there because it challenges me to give my best every day I log in to work.
I look forward to excelling in the current role and try for the next level. There is no consideration that you work there when applying for another role. Everyone has a fair chance at being selected. I hope to work there until my contract lasts.
AI Evaluations
Automated tests disqualify based on tests lacking certification, depth or any sort of practical implications.
No serious company should engage with their product at this level of maturity (or lack thereof).
Ridiculous system
Ridiculous system. Requires you to complete a questionnaire which disqualifies you if you leave the window to prevent cheating. However, I had a chrome update popup appear halfway through and was disqualified. This isn't something I could have predicted or prevented. Appalling UX. Why would any company use this service?
They reject applications if another role has been applied for, thus preventing the best candidate for the roles potentially.
Having applied to a number of roles advertised by Crossover.com, I find their refusal to allow a candidate to apply for multiple advertised roles concurrently insane. It means they could reject the best candidate, not because they are unsuitable, but because they have applied for another role that they suitable for as well! By their approach, a candidate could only apply for maybe 10 roles a year!
A very unsatisfactory approach that is detrimental to the hiring company and candidates alike - I recommend avoiding like mad.
They also have a personal email address of the recruiter which then bounces - so very unprofessional. One recruiter to avoid as there are a few good ones out there, and this is at the other end of the spectrum.
