Host was incredibly kind, very respectful and shared his space with myself and my friends. Great lighting , great location, great room for experimenting and giving a ‘home’ vibe for a shoot.

Emily was very helpful from the start. Able to see the venue prior and it was perfect, from there it was a good experience. Emily can be contacted anytime for any questions which I think was very important.

I found a great venue very quickly with plenty of suitable alternative options.

We were setting up our profile but stopped because we didn't like how it looked. Tagvenue prevented the changes. When we tried to delete it a message popped up saying we could and had to contact customer service. So we left it not finished and the next day tagvenue went ahead and published. After communicating with tagvenue they suspended it but one day later they published it again saying it was due to Automictic Workflow.. Basedon this they will continue publishing it with out our permission.

A very dishonest and disingenuous company. They hide all negative reviews and their Operations Manager Joanna Stolle admitted this in her email to me.
We had a very negative experience at the studio that we booked. However because the studio pays money to advertise with Tag Venue they are only interested in what they have to say.
I was sent a very patronising email and told that my review had been hidden! A business that operated like this deserves NO business!

I booked Dareshack Studio in Bristol September 2024 for January 2025 as part of a tour through Tagvenue. I just got an email, saying they are cancelling the venue, we have tickets sold, money spent on advertising, they refuse to take my call, would never ever trust this venue or tagvenue to ever book a venue, disgraceful

Dishonest pricing. A venue might say, for example, that it costs $500 when you try and book it.

Afterwards, the property manager will say that the venue actually costs $1,000 - $1,500.

They steal your images and descriptions of a property from other venue listing sites and create a profile without your permission. Then get inquiries and try to charge you to get access to them. They’re creating fake venues to scam venues out of money. Also, it puts these rental spaces in a bad place by having people inquire about renting a space and never getting a response. Complete scam and sketchy business practice

Went to a shoot at Q West, Unit 321, Brentford, TW8 0GP.

At first thought it was all going good… Until the equipment made us stop our shoot. The backdrop kept falling and I would have to keep putting it back.

After I left, the owners found the backdrop on the floor, they accused me of going out my way and putting the backdrop on the floor. What for?

They tried to charge me extra money for this along with other charges!!!! What a scam to make money. Don’t book, save yourself the hassle.

Honestly, this studio at Q West, unit 321 was a nightmare. First off, the booking process was a mess – super confusing and they put random extra charges on top. When we got there, finding the actual studio was ridiculous. It took us 15 minutes just wandering around the building, which was a total waste of time and unprofessional.

Once we finally got in, we quickly realised two chairs were broken, and the rest were super squeaky, which completely messed up our podcast-style setup. We could barely record anything without noise from the chairs and it just felt so unprofessional.

Then, to make it worse, the hoodlum of a manager called us with a threatening 'roadman' attitude and charged us an extra fee for ‘damages’ to the chairs. The whole experience felt like a rip-off and the owner was an egotistical fool. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for anything smooth or professional

I booked a particular venue:

I had a very negative experience with the management of this venue... Firstly after contacting them they sent me a link to pay 'acuitysceduling'

The price was actually slightly higher on this external link - the same booking cost £70 on tagvenue but this seperate portal charged me £85.99. (tagvenue didn't charge me per person, this other portal charged me per person/visitor)

I used the venue for 2 hours and the backdrop kept rolling down itself...we tried stopping it and rolled it back up again. We managed to keep it stable and avoided using it for the last hour of our time within the venue. The venue manager then rang me 24 hours after our booking and mentioned that he will charge me £40 extra due to damages to the backdrop. He then sent me a photo showing the damage. And I can confidently say that the roller came down itself AFTER we had left the studio. I would have liked him to verify this on the security camera footage and I would be happy to pay for damages IF the footage clearly shows I caused the damage. However, he was unable to provide the proof that the damage was done by me and charged me £40 extra anyway.

This is a very negative experience, The manager was threatening, intimidating and spoke with me in a street manor which I found very unprofessional - seemed like a gangster landlord. Avoid this company like the plague.

Absolutely disgraceful business conduct, we signed a contract and paid a deposit and a week later i got a call and email to say our booking had been cancelled because they got more money from someone else that had booked the whole venue. Avoid at all costs, they do not stick by their contracts and will drop you at the last minute if they get more money offered

SCAM!!!! Don’t trust it. Don’t make the mistake. The studio I reserved does not exist at the location’s address.Though the location is on google. The contact/host ( scan!) did not pick up several frantic phone calls when I got to the place and saw what looked like a warehouse with no open entrance. Though there was a quick email response when I booked ( which nowadays is easy way to set up to cover up the scam). Now that I think of it the few positive reviews of the studio could be part of the cover up by scammers themselves. Don’t waste your money. Don’t be deceived! I made sure this place and tag venue is being investigated. Oh, and there had been emails ( post awful experience) asking for feedback and making a show of having investigated the location) I will not believe until I get my money back!

A wide range of venues and really easy to navigate. Booked a successful event with the help of Tagvenue!
