Unclear communication
I decided not to go with any of the venues on tagvenue. Most of the communication was delayed and did not respond to my questions. However, I was charged and am still waiting for my deposit to be returned.

I've checked your inquiry and can confirm that your deposit has already been voided on our side. Depending on your bank, the hold can take a little longer to disappear, especially around holidays, but rest assured it is not being charged, and it will clear shortly.
We've also reviewed the venues involved to understand where the breakdown in communication happened. Some responses unfortunately arrived much later than expected, and we're taking the appropriate internal actions to prevent this from happening again.

The platform was really easy to use
The platform was really easy to use, all the info was there. The only thing that didn't work well is that I wasn't able to book 2 separate rooms at the same time. I requested to book one room and then the platform wouldn't let me book a second one at the same location.

Had a studio booked
Had a studio booked. They cancelled with less that 7 days. Finchley studios jumped into action and delivered on its promise. The set was beyond our expectations, the service from email, call to meet up was smooth. The engineer on the day was super helpful, accommodating and keen to aid us to fulfil our expectations. Special shout out to Rachel and PJ for making it happen.

Tagvenue suddenly cancelled my long-standing booking at Steps Shoreditch with no opportunity for discussion. To make matters worse, they are making me wait ten days for a refund. Avoid.

Hi Tim, I’m very sorry to hear about your booking being cancelled - I completely understand how frustrating this must have been.
Please note the refund was issued immediately on Tagvenue’s side, and the 10 business days are the average timeframe needed by your bank and payment providers to complete the process on their end. For clarity, the cancellation was initiated by the venue, not Tagvenue, and our team has already contacted them directly. Under our T&Cs, venues with two such cancellations are suspended and lose their Supervenue status. This is not behaviour we accept on our platform, and your feedback helps us continue strengthening protections for our users.
No protection for user
Hi, I was informed that the room was no longer available on confirmed dates yesterday, despite my visit to the site, confirmation, and payment, all done last month.
I am very disappointed with this arrangement.
