Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I'm truly sorry for the delays and confusion you encountered, we always want the booking process to feel clear, fast and supportive.

I've checked your inquiry and can confirm that your deposit has already been voided on our side. Depending on your bank, the hold can take a little longer to disappear, especially around holidays, but rest assured it is not being charged, and it will clear shortly.

We've also reviewed the venues involved to understand where the breakdown in communication happened. Some responses unfortunately arrived much later than expected, and we're taking the appropriate internal actions to prevent this from happening again.

Hi Tim, I’m very sorry to hear about your booking being cancelled - I completely understand how frustrating this must have been.

Please note the refund was issued immediately on Tagvenue’s side, and the 10 business days are the average timeframe needed by your bank and payment providers to complete the process on their end. For clarity, the cancellation was initiated by the venue, not Tagvenue, and our team has already contacted them directly. Under our T&Cs, venues with two such cancellations are suspended and lose their Supervenue status. This is not behaviour we accept on our platform, and your feedback helps us continue strengthening protections for our users.

Venues that cancel confirmed bookings face penalties under our T&Cs.
