If you live on a hill do not order your stone from this company, their couriers won't deliver.

I wanted to take a moment to leave a review for the outstanding customer service provided to me during an evening call last night.

The level of assistance from customer services has been nothing short of exceptional. Stonesuperstore provided prompt and thoughtful responses, along with a creative problem-solving approach (of my own making), exceeding all expectations. Their commitment to helping me meet my request was evident at every step of the way, and I am incredibly impressed with the service I've received.

In a world where excellent customer service is often hard to come by, they have truly delivered in spades. Their dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction has not gone unnoticed, and I very much value their efforts.

Ordered Matterhorn porcelain slabs and it looks amazing when project was completed. HOWEVER this is the most stain retaining product ever. Any muddy mark on it will stain leaving a very dirty orange tinge which needed jet washing to remove. This disappointed me as I was lead to believe it was hard wearing and very low maintenance which is definitely not.

Bought 2 types of limestone flags for the kitchen floor and a large patio. Great products and a great service at a very reasonable price. Fast delivery and excellent communication throughout. Well packed with no breakages. We extended the patio during the work and had to order more, and they couldn't have been more helpful. Have since specified for a client's house and they're delighted too.

Don't buy rapid flow projoint one an a half bags is hard as rock . Absoute waste of money . 40pnd down the drain . Not happy 😒

Outstanding service 45 sq m delivered prompt and safely no breakage excellent coms

Ordered a sample which looked good. Negotiated a decent price. However, the sample, whilst the same general colour did not reflect the very great variation in pattern on the actual tiles. The description on the website was misleading. The response from the company was disappointing and did not address the issues.

I recently ordered Porcelain Paving Tiles for my garden. I spoke to Matt, who helped me to place the order and also sorted the delivery day I wanted the tiles. He was very helpful and professional. Once I placed the order, my builder told me we ordered about 25 square meters more than needed. Next day I phoned and spoke to Rebecca regarding the wrong order placed and I needed to amend it. She was a very Good listener and told me she will call me back. She called me and sorted the order and also made sure that I will get the order on my delivery day. I am very thankful to Rebecca for very efficient and timely service.

We were on a fairly tight deadline for our garden project. Matt at Stone Superstore processed our order quickly and made suggestions that allowed us to get the most for our money. The staff are informed and genuinely helpful. The stones arrived when promised and are gorgeous in our garden. Great quality; very good value for money.

Excellent service from the point of ordering samples (of which arrived super fast) placing my order right to delivery. Requested early delivery & arrived on the dot! Delivery driver was also very helpful. Just a few damaged tiles in transit which were promptly replaced. Received excellent customer service from Rebecca, Andrea & Mat who kept me updated throughout the process. Would definitely recommend. Tiles are great quality & look fantastic 👌

Extremely helpful in getting just what I wanted and at a great price. Very pleasant and helpful staff who were courteous and polite something that is unusual nowadays. Delivery was quick with 'no' problems.
Two tiles were chipped due to the packaging being torn (photo supplied to company) but were replaced without question - Great service throughout I would thoroughly recommend them.

STAY AWAY - DO NOT PURCHASE!!

I should have read the many other 1* reviews before purchasing. And even their horrendous responses to those reviews should have been a tell-tale!

The online transaction has been the best part - from then on it has been terrible.

Delivery date was confirmed and the lorry turned up, not sure if the driver had an issue with a woman suggesting how other lorry drivers have successfully delivered pallets in the past but he wouldn't listen to me. There were two pallets already in the area I needed them to be; one with bathroom tiles on delivered by Mandarin Stone (use them instead) and another pallet with a double sink unit on. This is the area I needed them to deliver to. The driver proceeded to park approximately 30 metres from my front door and then struggle to drag the tiles some 5 metres on frozen gravel, churning up the surface. When I said again that he should put the pallet back on the lorry and reverse he said he couldn’t as he had dragged it too far now. He then gave up and left them obstructing the entrance to my forecourt; so cars cannot get in/out & I won't be able to receive any other pallet deliveries for the renovation works I am doing & my skip won't be able to be collected in the agreed timescale incurring further costs to me.

Both Stonesuperstore and Pallex have been utterly useless in rectifying this situation. Not only was the delivery driver rude to me in person, but Stonesuperstore have also been totally unhelpful and just keep sending me a link to their delivery policy and telling me I can get my car out. How company's like this are still in business, the mind boggles!

After being left with no other option but to return the tiles in order for me to get my car out of my forecourt as well as new deliveries in, I was then told that if they couldn’t get the tiles back on the lorry then I would have to organise the return myself… I was already utterly perplexed by the whole thing at this point but it got worse…

I then received a call from “David Fairbrother - the major shareholder of Pallex, don’t you know” (I was told this twice). On the first call I explained my frustrations and he said he would see what he could do “but why should I have to foot the cost of this”. I replied “because your delivery driver has left a pallet in a ridiculous location”. He told me I was being “flippant”.

On the second call he started off with “I was going to send someone to break the pallet down for you and move it but then I saw your review and I’ve decided I won’t be doing that unless you remove your review.” I agreed to remove the review, which I am now reposting with the additional abuse received from Mr Fairbrother.

I was also told that I was a “liar because I didn’t tell the Stonesuperstore they were delivering onto gravel” (even though I have an email saying the opposite from Stonesuperstore along with a phone recording they supposedly have) and I was “being petulant”. I was told that someone coming back out to sort out the pallet would cost Mr Fairbrother £100.

So a Pallex personnel was sent out and he just tried to move the pallet with his sack truck! Which is exactly what the previous Pallex moron had done to get us into this predicament in the first place - what a waste of Mr Fairbrother’s £100! I told him that his boss had told me he would break the pallet down to move it and he said he couldn’t/wouldn’t do that. Anyway, this confirmed that Pallex wouldn’t be able to get the pallet back into their lorry to return the tiles.

So now they have left me - a pregnant woman - to move these tiles one by one myself to my front door just so I can get out to go to the supermarket.

The whole experience has genuinely been unbelievable!

I cannot reiterate enough - STAY AWAY - DO NOT PURCHASE!

Bought on line. Everything was decent and the quality of the paving is high. Too delivery chap who really helped out getting everything in the right place for me. Good stuff!!

Waited in all day today (26/09/2022) for a confirmed delivery of Porcelain tiles, sealer and grout.
Started getting a little concerned by 2.30pm so asked the wife to call and find out what was happening.

We were told that the courier said that the delivery was too heavy to be delivered today and would be delivered tomorrow.

Firstly, why were we not informed of this earlier by either Stone Superstore or indeed the courier service, secondly, i am self-employed and getting any time off lately is problematic at best - i now have to take another day off to rectify someone else's mistake.

Lastly and here is the belly blow, the operative my wife spoke to frankly seemed like she couldn't give a damn and didn't even give an apology - i was so incensed by this and having my time unnecessarily wasted that i was ready to cancel the entire order and have a refund made.

The real kicker for this company is that there was no effort made to rectify the problem on their part and when it was suggested we cancel the order this was met by "O.K" without anything else being said by the operative.

Thankfully, my wife has some sense and has them deliver on Saturday - at no extra cost so i guess there was some silver lining to this entire cock up.

Final words, this is the first and last time i will order from this company.
This seems to be a growing trend in retail as of late - nobody cares about customers any more. Shame on them.

In answer to your reply of this review.

I believe this review is completely justified, if a time frame for delivery is given this should be strictly adhered to especially if your customers have to pay for the privilege and i am not alluding to the fact it shouldn't be paid for - you are using a third-party courier after all.
What i am saying is your customers frankly couldn't care less that it is either you or your courier that is at fault.
If your carriers cannot make timely deliveries, it may be useful to look for a company that can - and on this note when the courier finally arrived, they informed me that there wasn't an issue on the delivery day which has added to the frustration.

This could have all been rectified by a phone call from you and this is the only reason i have given this review - all the excuses in the world are simply not good enough.

I discovered Stonesuperstone after searching for porcelain tiles online for quite some time. I first ordered samples, which was a simple process and arrived quickly. I placed an order over the phone after selecting the tile because the website stated that more stock would be arriving soon. Payment and communication were simple, with prompt email responses. I was given a clear overview of when stock would arrive from Stonesuperstone, and once it arrived, I scheduled a date. Overall, delivery was good, and the driver called an hour before arrival. There were only a few flaws in 40 square metres of tile, and Stonesuperstone fixed them quickly and efficiently.

Overall, good slabs at a reasonable price, good service, and I would use them again.

My experience with stone superstore has excellent. I ordered samples which were better than expected. I then ordered my full order. The staff communicated very well and even had a courtesy call to explain the delivery. In the end, I had to cancel my order and they handled the whole return process without a fuss and even though it was very last minute. It was nice to be able to deal with people rather than via the computer. I can't rate their whole process highly enough, especially Hannah who was extremely helpful. I will definitely be back.

The stones were far more "tumbled" than the ones in the photos. They were sent on an inadequate truck and we had to pay a further £300 + VAT to have them brought out fir a second time on a vehicle with hiab that was capable of unloading them!
