From start to finish it has been friendly efficient and professional . Booking and choosing the product was easy . And i phoned to change the time slot to a different day without booking ref . Tracey was on the phone was very friendly and efficient sort it out quickly.
Comes to the day of fitting walked in everyone happy and friendly , excellent customer service. Especially early morning and very very busy . . Whilst Tracey whi delt with me on the phone change the tyres over . Luke kept me entertained . Must say this is the 3rd time we've been there with different cars and members of my family and had this service every time

I have had 2 Tyres fitted to my BMW series 1 this week. Service could not have been better. Welcomed as soon as I arrived. Polite and very efficient staff. My daughter recommended to National Tyres because of the excellent service she had.

I recently scheduled an MOT appointment at National Tyre Bangor Garage, but upon arrival, I was informed that the test couldn't be conducted because the MOT tester was off sick. What's worse, no one bothered to inform me beforehand. Instead of offering a feasible alternative, they proposed an impractical solution and then brushed me off. The whole experience reeks of bad management and poor customer care. I strongly advise against using this center.

Took my nephews fiesta for a middle pipe exaust. No flex or cat so bare this in mind, I was quoted £479 for this peice fitted, I asked why so expensive he told me it's a 3hour job, told price way over and no way 3 hour job. Took else where and new middle pipe and rear silencer fiited in 20 minutes £210 , so don't just agree on there quotes shop about..

My partner and I have been using National Tyres and Autocare in Bangor for the past 3 years for both of our cars have never had a problem until this year. We took my partners car in for an MOT on the 20th January 2024. When we went to collect the vehicle we were informed by Craig that the nearside ball joint and wipers had failed the MOT, we were quoted £545 to fix both of these issues. We were also advised to change both front tyres and to pay for these online separately although they had passed the MOT and were within the legal limit. We booked the car in for 22nd January to be repaired, however, I said on the way home the quote seems incredibly expensive for the parts that needed replacing. I phoned a local garage 21st Jan and asked for a quote who said to replace the whole arm with the ball joint it would be £136. I bought my own wipers for £24 and fitted them within 2 minutes. This was considerably cheaper than the quote from this company. I phoned on the 21st and spoke to Craig to cancel the repair and explained I had found a local garage who were a lot cheaper, he did not seem particularly interested but I asked to book a retest for 27th as the MOT expired 28th. He booked us in for 10:10am as I had to be in work for 13:30. The local garage fixed the car and also stated there was no need to change the tyres there was around 6,000 miles left on both, Took the car back to national tyres on Saturday 10:10 to be told there was no booking and they were very busy until 13:30 that day. We travelled from Holyhead with a one year old and I had to be in work for that time. The manager that day did manage to sort the problem and eventually we left the garage at 13:15. But it did cause a lot of stress that was not needed. We have noticed a big difference in the staff’s attitude lately and the lack of professionalism in the place. There is clearly an issue between staff on shift as it is blatantly obvious the way the speak to each other in front of customers (I would hate to see how they speak to each other behind closed doors) We will certainly not be using this garage again and will now stick to our local family garage who had a totally different demeanour and fair price not trying to get as much money as they could from us. Really disappointed. Thank you to the shift manager that on 27th for getting it retested for us by moving other customers appointments but Craig the assistant manager certainly needs to look at what he is doing, overcharging customers and lack of communication regarding appointments.

Needed tyres for my BMW 118d. Looked on their website and they listed their recommendations using the filters because I needed ‘Run Flat’ tyres. Ordered, paid and booked for fitting. Arrived on the day and sat in waiting room, minutes later the guy appeared and said ‘You know you’ve bought regular tyres? You need Run Flat tyres’. I replied that I did order ‘RF’ on their recommendation. So after a minute of awkward silence, I asked ‘ Well what happens now then?’ and he replies ‘Don’t know’. Not the response I wanted to hear. I was expecting something like ‘ I can order them today and maybe they’ll arrive tomorrow or next day’ but he wasn’t interested so I asked for full refund. Not even an apology for their cock up.
Now if I had a car that carried a spare wheel then it wouldn’t have bothered me as much but these were premium RF tyres so they weren’t cheap but they didn’t seem to care or even bothered about it.
So a word of warning to those considering on visiting..

Thanks for the quick response but this issue has been resolved. I found tyres available at Kwik-Fit and had them fitted this morning (5/12/23).

Go to National tyres every year for M.O.T. and extra work.
Best customer service in town.

When I collected my car, the staff member reversed it out of the bay and I drove off.

When I got home I realised the keyfob wasn't in the car, so I phoned up and the staff were adamant that they keyfob had been left in the centre console. I spent hours looking for it everywhere in the car.

After 2 hours of looking, I eventually found it outside under the windscreen wiper - where it could easily have been lost.

Needless to say, I will not be returning there in the future.

Very friendly and professional. Had my MOT and they did it effectively and efficiently with no issues. Will definitely return!

Danny, the manager and Luke, the mechanic went above and beyond to find practical solutions to sort out my brakes and tyres when I was completely stressed and miles from home. Danny was professional, friendly and his assurances and solutions gave me absolute confidence that they were going to solve the problems for me - and they did. Luke stayed late to work on the car, explained clearly what the problems were and what he was doing at each stage (without patronising me). In all it took them 9 hours to sort the car out but they made an incredibly stressful situation bearable by their professional and friendly attitude. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Took car for new tyers,,knowing paper work done and then when I took it there they lost paper work so had to do it again,,coloured man member of staff sitting on his phone,,then bloke with glasses behind counter had no idea what he was doing and then made a rolling
cigerate behind counter and went out while dry miserable looking man with gowtie beard and hoodie was walking around garage with cigerate in his mouth,,then young lad scottish accent was doing checks on car with other nice lad to be told don't do this car do this car that just come in???by hooded gowtie beard man,,eventually nice lad not one with Scottish accent had to put 4 wheels on car on his own and was told off by man with glasses as slow??while he was in reception sitting or out smoking and coloured man still hour later still sitting in reception on his phone while hooded gowtie man was coming out of garage in car with cigerate in mouth and on the phone,, 2 hours later coloured man came out and did my car,,I was so drained when I got home,,,

Ease of booking.
I find the staff at national tyres very professional, polite and are very helpful. I know when I take my car to national tyres I am getting a good job done
