Excellent job all round from all the Mercia team for my full house move to Switzerland.

Also had a second smaller shipment of boxes only delivered and also went smoothly.

We booked Mercia for our move to spain. Rebecca was fantastic who looked after us all the way. Excellent communication and felt safe with our belongings. The lads were courtious and very careful when collecting our belongings to delivering them right to our door in spain.

Moved our belongings from London to Andalucía and I cannot recommend Mercia Movers highly enough. From start to finish they were terrific. This was the first time I have ever moved house with movers let alone to a different country; I had endless questions and no matter how ridiculous Chris handled them all in an extremely professional and patient manner. I took the packing service and it was the such the right decision as it made the whole process even easier. Both the collection and delivery guys were speedy but careful and also very professional. Would use Mercia Movers again.

Like a Craig David song...We contacted them on Monday, had a quote on Tuesday, received boxes on Wednesday and were moved by Friday. Excellent communication with Jamie throughout, Chris assessed our requirements for our move and was professional and thorough,
We collected additional boxes for items we hadn't accounted for. The girls in the office were really helpful when collecting boxes,
The removals team arrived promptly and altogether from first box into the van at our old home and last box off in our new home we were moved in 5 hours.
A bed leg was misplaced during the move and after some checking and searching the vans and warehouse it was located and delivered back to us.
Great attention to detail.

I would recommend them to anyone.. even when I underestimated my cubic capacity they responded kindly.. I'm elderly, still working in feet and inches.. my move was to Southeast Asia and Kate managed to find a company there which fullfilled everything in an excellent manner.. including complicated customs procedures and delivery to our home there!! well done Mercia Movers..!! I have all my stuff..nothing broken or stolen.. never mind five stars, will give it 10.

An amazing service from initial approach to delivery of goods. I was told an international move would be very stressful, but thanks to Kate, everything went smoothly. She was quick to get back to me on all queries raised during the process. The uplift team were delayed on entering Norway to collect my load, but because I had flights arranged for the next day, they busted a gut to get to me that evening. Delivery to Scotland was quick and everything arrived intact. A job well done!

Moving back to the UK from abroad after over 50 years was a daunting prospect. However I could not have chosen a better removals company. The advice given prior to the move was excellent and communication always easy as any query was answered immediately. Both the packing and the delivery went so smoothly it wasn't the stressful time I'd imagined. The crews were splendid, kind, competent and went out of their way to be helpful. I will not be moving again but if I did have to I know I would call Merciamovers.

We recently moved back from Spain to the UK, moving is generally considered a very stressful experience however all the team at Mercia movers made it much more enjoyable and were all super helpful, over the phone Rebecca, Debbie and Martin were all very nice and helpful, thanks to Dave and Lee at collection and Kieran and James at delivery too, all were fantastic, thanks for making moving actually a pleasurable experience, highly recommend.

Mercia were absolutely fab from start to finish! Yes my stuff took a few months to get here but that is to be expected in this crazy world we now all live in and this was clearly explained to me from the very beginning by Mercia (plus I've been following the news so already aware) and I was kept up to date throughout! From my very first call with Mercia I felt completely at ease and as though I could trust they would take good care of my life long possessions and I was not wrong, everyone in the office was super friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble for them, all the lads at both collections and delivery so, so nice and took great care, there was one minor scratch on just one items but when moving stuff half way across the world, again to be expected!! As I'd taken out full additional insurance cover, this was handled and processed quickly!! Happy all round, thanks again Mercia!!

We (family with 3 kids) have finally received the answer from the insurance company after this very difficult moving experience with Mercia movers, so now is the time for this review. More than 11000£ paid for moving our 5 bedroom house from London to Switzerland and quite a trauma ! In summary : terrible and very creative packing, resulting in difficult and long unpacking as well as many small broken things (lego toys thrown as is in the boxes ! wrapping objects in other objects, containers put upside down therefore emptying their content on unpacking, bad identification of boxes resulting in confusion when unpacking, missing items that you discover after the claim deadline, and very limited insurance even when they destroy 2 wardrobes that you have to replace ! The sales experience was good but the delivery of the service was very poor by all accounts and the aftersales experience was horrible. They are probably good for small moves, but if you are looking for real international standards (we moved 8 times across 4 countries in the past 10 years), stay away !
We are sad, disappointed and angry after this difficult experience.
