We looked high and low to try and find some lampshades that we had purchased in IKEA 20 years ago and found some on Malta shopper as it turned out they had to import it from Sicily but it arrived in Australia and we couldn’t be happier

Extremely disappointing!
Extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered an Ikea Besta door from Malta Shopper which arrived damaged due to incredibly poor packaging—just two very thin layers of small bubble wrap for an international delivery. Considering I paid €90 for shipping, I expected far more care to be taken in protecting the item.
When I contacted customer service, they showed no interest in resolving the issue and simply told me that because I didn’t purchase insurance, it’s my responsibility. Frankly, this feels like a way to deflect accountability for inadequate packaging. Insurance shouldn’t be a fallback for poor shipping standards.
I wouldn’t recommend ordering anything from this company unless you’re willing to take the risk and deal with unhelpful support if something goes wrong.

Please note that all items are carefully packed before dispatch, following our standard procedures to ensure they are well protected. However, once a package leaves Malta and is in international transit, any damage that occurs is unfortunately beyond our control. For this reason, we always strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance, which provides coverage in case of such incidents.
We understand your frustration and truly regret that your order arrived in this condition.

Hi Sinclair, thank you for taking the time to review our service. I looked into your orders and the only damaged item that was brought to our attention was a seat cover that we agreed to replace. We don't know of any other damages that you found and we don't seem to have been informed about them. Our time window for checking a delivery is 48 hours and not 24. I hope that helps.

Insurance reimbursement
I purchased shipping insurance when I purchased my item but it was poorly packaged and a part fell out of the box. I have waited months for reimbursement but now I can’t even get a response to my correspondence.
