Very efficient service from Kudos.
Original shower enclosure installed 2006. First time I’ve needed to order spare parts - door rollers and new seal kit which all arrived next day.
Also requested fitting instructions which were emailed back immediately.
Very happy 😀

ordered a 2 meter flexi pipe to go through the frame in my walk in shower this was ordered at 12:30 when the latest orders where being collected , I asked if they could get it out next day, they said they would try but it would probably be a couple of days before i received it

I received the parcel the next day and I was able to sort out the shower

Have Kudos Pinnacle 8 shower unit 2 years, good quality, easy clean. Kudos service very good. Plumber slightly mucked up first install, corrected and works well. (also have new in packet kudos glass Bifold door see Edinburgh gumtree!)

I cannot speak highly enough of the Staff in Customer Service at Kudos, Lindsay, Gemma and Emily !!! We have two Kudos showers that are fairly old and the assistance that was received, to locate and supply seals and fittings, from these simply excellent Ladies was beyond words. Prompt, courteous, efficient always willing to be helpful ... and nothing was too much of a problem for them. All requests were answered and even better all materials needed were located and supplied in an extraordinarily efficient and timely manner. Kudos ... and these Ladies in Customer Service are simply exceptional. If I could give 10 Stars I would ... !!!

We chose a Kudos shower enclosure with a non-slip tray for its streamlined structure and subsequent ease of cleaning.

I contacted sales regarding a technical query and got a prompt response minutes later. After searching the Market for 2 number shower enclosures including anti slip trays i will place the items at the plumber's Merchants shortly i am very impressed with the quality of their products

In the blurb for their shower enclosures I read this :-
" All Kudos shower trays are covered by our lifetime guarantee against faulty materials and workmanship and, if correctly installed and maintained, will not only provide you with a stunning looking product but also the comfort of knowing that your shower is built on a British made product from a company with a reputation for quality and value”....read on......
As is always going to happen the seal at the base of the glass on your walk-in enclosure shower will need replacing from time to time. The plastic is rigid and will split and discolour over time. My shower has had 3 replacements in 13 years.
So when I contacted Kudos with a photo of the part ( as I didn't have a model number ) for another replacement, this was the unhelpful reply I received from Emily:-
"and unfortunately this range of Kudos enclosure is discontinued and we no longer stock of any spares for this enclosure.
There isn’t a seal that we have done for another enclosure that would work on the screen you have. There maybe someone out on the market that is a standard item which may work but we can’t guarantee this.
So I replied to her :-
"That is very disappointing that you don’t carry stock as these items do perish and you must rely on the manufacturer to provide a service for their products.
There must be 1000s of customers who have bought this range and will need to replace at some point.
I have searched on google but found nothing, but I do not have the shower product details or the part reference number so would be grateful if you would supply these".
Again an unhelpful reply suggesting another type, again she didn't supply the model number which may have helped me find a replacement on the web.
"This hasn’t been tested so we can’t guarantee this is going to create an exact seal and prevent the enclosure leaking, this is however the closest option we have that we could suggest trying"
So I contacted her again as unhappy with the "may work"
This time I got a reply from a more helpful Gemma who found another type that again she thought " might do the job" She did send it to me FOC which frankly after all the time searching for a replacement elsewhere was the least they could offer.
Fortunately after contacting around 30 different companies supplying seals and plumbers merchant I found one and only one.
So you have been warned. Let's face it you may not need a replacement for a few years but you sure will in the period after they stop selling them. Thousands must have bought this beautiful product which we are still delighted with, but they face having to replace the whole unit when they cannot find the seal.
They make money by supplying the replacements so why have this policy. It certainly isn't offering a service for their "valued customers".

Having read your response Gemma I have this suggestion.
Why don't you include a registration form in with the packaging so you are aware who has bought any particular product. You can state that you will advise customers when the product becomes obsolete and give them the option to buy parts and then you can place an order with your supplier accordingly. Not only are you supporting your customers, but you also benefit from the sales.

Kudos makes very high quality shower enclosures. After 7 years we needed some runners and clips renewing. The engineer who is called Genna was excellent with great communication skills. So a big thank you to everybody concerned.

I needed a replacement shower screen handle as one of the fittings had broken. I contacted KUDOS on 3 August and it was delivered on 8 August. Great service!

The plastic spring clips which lock the screen panels in place, had failed. I sent an email asking if the clips were something they could supply as a spare, within a few hours I got a response, saying that there is a warranty of 4 years, so if proof of purchase can be given the part will be issued free of charge. Proof was given and the replacement clips are on there way.

I contacted Kudas to get a replacement drain cover lift key which was missing when we moved into our recently purchased house.
Kudas sales were quick to respond & sent out a spare key in the post straight away.

I have always purchased kudos showers and have found the sliding door showers excellent quality. However , I would advise anyone against buying their bifold door showers. The doors just do not close properly, have had Kudos engineer out and even his advice to use WD 40 doesn’t work. The position of the handle isn’t right and you cannot open and close it easily, very poor design, wish I hadn’t bought this one , expensive mistake.

Anne, in customer services, was very competent in dealing with my query. Her patience and professionalism in explaining all aspects of the problem encouraged me and helped me resolve the fitting dilemma. Thank you, Anne.
