Where do I start
Where do I start. The issues that I have experienced from buying a motorcycle here have pretty much all been turned on the head and made out to be my issues, they make you feel like you are the issue. They have moved premises now and this was the reason I kept being provided for the poor service and delays.
I initially deal with a salesman called ian who was INITIALLY very engaging and talked a good game. The motorbike I bought then went through their garage for the checks and I had already seen the MOT advisory at this point being a blowing exhaust which to be fair to them they did come back to me and said they were not happy with it and will replace it as the mechanic I very particular about things like that. I thought fair enough but then the lengthy delay where 5 days passed no update so I kept chasing and ian kept telling me they are in the middle of moving premises and they can’t fix anything. I then complained and lo and behold the part had arrived that day apparently?? So they said they will get the part time mechanic on it to fix it as he was originally helping with the move. I picked up the bike had to wait 2 1/2 hours and went to set off no fuel in it!
It was only afterwards the aftersales was shocking ian was so rude, dismissive and completely disinterested. I contacted them about the terrible smell of fuel in my garage I took it to a friends garage who said all the carb were leaking. When I rang up he said he will get it in but it was ok to ride. someone then came the next day to pick it up.
Exactly a week later no update from ian, rang and messaged him just kept saying no parts. Eventually I asked to speak with a manager who is still illusive to this day, instead I got dave! I still don’t know who the manager is probably so they don’t find out what goes on. They told me the parts were on back order and I won’t see my bike for some time. I looked on several websites for jap parts, all available next day. Very confusing!!!! My mechanic had ordered the bits I told dave they could use the set I had, they picked the bit up and next day complete. Told me
They were Chinese bits we only use original bits, well the original bits were available everywhere I looked and the kit I bought my friend has used for years and never had a single bike back with an issue. When I got the bike back is the starting point of the very bad side of kjm. The delivery guy put the bike on the drive (this is all on CCTV as explained to dave) he then saw me come out my house said there you go got in the van and drove off. I hadn’t even checked the bike over. I looked at the carbs which were still filthy, a spring hanging out of one of the heater plugs which had not been replaced and all the heater plugs brass fittings were the same ones Obviously they had the whole kit and had the carbs off apparently, so why wouldn’t they replace all the parts because that would mean putting old ones back on.
I rang ian, he was rude and unhelpful and just put me on hold mid sentence and said he wasn’t dealing and dave will.
I feel sorry for dave and you can tell he is a nice bloke but instead of owning issues he just make you feel like you the unreasonable one.
He said oh the driver isn’t a people person, the mechanic said he only needed to replace the parts that were leaking, the carbs were cleaned in the degreaser bath which annoyed me why lie, I got some brake cleaner and they were all clean and no stains which took 2 mins. This is basics. I said if they have not used what I provided I wanted the rest of the kit back. The fuel tank trim Was missing which must have already been like that until I showed them a picture the day before with it on. Dave was to find out and ring me back, he did ring back and it was just excuses. He was going to locate the trim and the parts and get them back to me. He hadn’t offered to pay for the kit of mine they used so I mentioned this and he said when the Yamaha kit came he will send me that to replace it.
The day after they returned the bike I thought I’ll give it a run out and while on the drive noticed a dint in the brand new aftermarket exhaust can on the right side with flakes of white paint, I looked at the other side and the rubber on the can strap was ripped. I checked my cctv and the guy wheeling it out the van bangs the can on van and the bike stops! No wonder he was in a rush to leave. I rang ian he dismissed me and said dave will contact me, nothing for a week again.
This is where I am at now, I got hold of dave who is going to ask the driver lol! What difference that will make I have no idea. If they told me they degreased carbs they were filthy and the tank trim was not on the bike I’m sure they will say the brand new exhausts fitted the previous day were already dinted with white paint on! If I don’t get any joy I will make a civil claim. I hope the mystery manager reads this.
Still not had the replacement kit and they lost my fuel tank trim so I purchased a new one which they didn’t offer to pay for.
Made a stressful experience a happy one
What can I say , I recently purchased a royal Enfield from , the Wigan branch, Ian on sales is an absolute legend, treatment like family & fast efficient service, also on collecting the bike I was riding back to the midlands & he said let me know I was back safely, most salespeople have your money & thats it , not these guys , great company

If purchasing a bike from outside the UK with this company be aware that they will charge you VAT and when you then pay in your own country you will have to pay again on full price. They will not entertain you when you bring this to their attention. Perhaps Brexit rules dont apply to them but it was poor form on their part. The bike its self has given no problems since purchase. the extra expense to pay customs was a bitter pill to swallow unfortunatley. It is what it is i suppose but buyers in the EU should be aware of the unfortunate extra expense if this should happen to them and explain at time of purchase to the company that import and VAT is paid by the purchaser in their country.

Sold Motorbike I had an agreement to purchase
I agreed to purchase a motorbike and signed the email to click and confirm the order over a bank holiday weekend. The phone me once but did not take the returned call and emailed me once to which I confirmed I wanted to buy the bike. They then sold the bike the next day to someone who came into the shop after I had agreed to purchase it. Avoid dealing with this business, they are not honest and cannot be trusted.

I went to kjm with intention of part ex my stunning immaculate triumph 675se that I was no longer able to cope with riding position due to illness, I’d seen a CBR 600f Honda 2012 thought it would be ideal swop as I have 1991 Honda cbr600f2 owned from new in perfect condition. Loud sales guy initially helpful the bike was a little tall surprisingly as 1991 perfect for a 5ft1”
Female. He said he would have lowering kit put on so next day went back and did the deal with manager as sales guy off. However day later sales guy phones telling me I am to pay for lowering kit and fitting!!! I suggested he go talk to manager as it was covered in deal. I heard nothing back, infact I heard nothing for 3 weeks I had to keep ringing & was told some cock and bull story about lowering kit! I was fed up waiting so said I would go with trailer and pick up bike he said it had been through workshop for service and safety check and that it had been cleaned.. yeah but only on one side, it had been sprayed with some kind of shine lubricant which had run down all over bike looked awful. Later on closer inspection the chain had absolutely no slack whatsoever when sat on bike and less than 10mm when not, sticker on mudguard states 35mm slack. Chain was knackered rusty and dry as a bone the rear pads had hardly anything left on them and there was not even an advisory on these things. And insult
To injury only 6 months MOT. Following lengthy conversation with photo evidence of above issues I was told by loud salesman that mechanic said chain was fine and loads on pads!!!!! I now 4 weeks later have a bike that is not fit for purpose and still no lowering kit. Basically once they have your money they dont give a stuff about you. After care service is none existent. Would I ever go there again would I hell.
Refundable deposit agreed, now ignoring me.
Recently I expressed interest in purchasing a bike from this company. I was told I could leave a deposit which was refundable if I changed my mind, received verbally and in writing.
I changed my mind and they are ignoring me now.
Need I say more?
Why they think they can get away with such tactics is beyond me. If you want to do silly things like that then don't write it down. Further action being taken.
Update
Refund received, surprising what a 'threatening' note does isn't it I call it a letter stating the facts, you can call it threatening if you wish.
An email would have been nice to acknowledge the cancellation had been approved instead of ignoring the 2 emails I sent....As mentioned to you my crystal ball was turned off that day. Whilst in the buying process emails were replied to straightaway, yet as soon as I cancel I get ignored. Do tell me what I am supposed to think?
My original order was via email, not 'in the store as you state' which was accepted quite happily, why would a cancellation not be acceptable in the same manner?
Note if you leave a bad review you will get an aggresive email from this chap, I found it amusing as this person actually tries to make you think you were in the wrong, bless him.
Learn from your mistakes and move on, don't dwell on bad reviews, make yourselves better, respond to emails, even the bad ones and then you will find good reviews follow. That's some free business advise for you.

Purchased a Benelli 1130 TNT
Purchased a Benelli 1130 TNT over the phone from Sunny Devon, it arrived on my doorstep, exactly as Ian and colleagues, with the help of some photographs, described... "mint my friend".
I am really pleased with their help and service.
I will use you again.
Couldn’t fault them...
I had been looking for my perfect bike over the last few months and came across KJM super bikes on AutoTrader.
I live in London so trusting a company over 200miles away was always going to be difficult for me.
However the boys at KJM made it so easy and reassuring. I was able to put down a deposit of £100 which they then sent a load of photos of the bike. At any point in time I was able to say no and get a full refund of that deposit.
They did offer me the option of having a courier send the bike to me however I decided to make a trip up to Wigan to see it for myself. They offered to pick me up from the local station as the place was in the countryside.
Ian was brilliant throughout the whole process and the mechanic showed me everything to be aware about the bike.
I rode the bike back to London (200miles) in one stint and at no point did I think the bike was going to break on me.
The reviews I found for this place were poor but it seems they’ve put a lot of hard work to fix those concerns.
Friendly company with loads to offer. Amazing customer experience. Thankyou.
Do not trust KJM
Do not trust KJM
I bought a kawa Z800.travelled all the way from london.
Was promised that the bike is fully serviced washed and filled .
Got there on a rainy miserable there, bike looked like it was on dirt track, tyre totally squared and on limit, tank is empty.i thought it is only tyre that s fine.drove the bike to london .washed to bike to notice that fearings were all of different colors, leaking seal on one the forks, brake pads on limit ,a missing exhaust gasket.after 3 weeks exvhanging emails ,the manager is trying to convince me that the seal and the gasket were lost on my 230 miles trip back ro london, when thebike let the shop the fearings were visible and he doesnt believe they were of different colors(i understood later why bike was not washed);brake pads were within the limit when the bike left the shop etc etc .but hey i got an apology for the empty tank !!!!
if there was less than one star I would have given it to KJM
Stay away from them !!!!

Lied about import.
I wanted to buy an aprilia tuono v4r and kjm had a new one priced around £500 cheer than the opposition.
I asked them if it was an import and they said that it wasn't and also they could collaborate this because it had a warranty, they even asked me to sign a portion of the hand book which they would send off so as to get my warranty.
The bike was fine but when i booked in for my first service at an aprilia main dealer (dave milling whitehaven) they informed me that bike required some work which involved fitting a new demand centre for the fly by wire throttle control system, unfortunately they couldn't do this work free of charge as they had checked out my bike and it was an import.
I contacted KJM who said they had never said is was a genuine machine and that it did have a warranty but only with KJM but as the bike hadn't failed why did i have a problem?
The biggest sting come when i sold the bike, as i lost a lot more than the £500 reduction in price i would have over a genuine machine and then i discovered the bike was in fact a 2011 bike and not a 2013 bike.
Make your own mind up about this company but i wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
friendly staff with a huge selection of two wheeled transport.
The Parent Group of this Shop seem to be the sole importers of the scooter I purchased
The Damien City 110 is an extremely good scooter equivalent to a Peugeot Vox 110 or the Honda Wave 110 and with disk brakes front and back and tubeless tyres and South Korean built quality equal to the Japanese makes, a total bargain.
KJM Superbikes should be a meca for bikers with friendly staff with a huge selection of two wheeled transport.
Set in beautiful Countryside within easy distance of Manchester
and Liverpool visiting it is a great experiencer its location is like England used to look like before it became a built up Hell.
