Excellent quality and service. I’ve purchased a full set of gear from them online. It’s been delivered timely and the quality was amazing but unfortunately I wasn’t able to use it due to health conditions and they have accepted full return even 3 months after a purchase date! No questions asked!

To preface, I purchased a ton of motorcycle gear from their Hamilton branch. The staff were friendly and helped me choose the correct items, even allowing me to try on different helmets and see how they felt over 15 minute periods.
That's where the positives end.
My RST S-1 boots have completely fallen apart in 5 months. Part of the toe box leather coating has peeled off, and both boots have begun separating from the soles. This is all within 5 months.
I contacted J&S to enquire about a replacement as their warranty states 12 months.
I was met with the most unhelpful customer service representative I have ever come across.
I sent multiple pictures displaying the condition of the boots and offered to send a bank statement as proof of purchase.
I was told the boots would have to be sent back allll the way to the importer and checks would have to be done before any decision would be made.
I was also quoted "wear and tear". You don't get £120 boots falling apart from wear and tear in 5 months. I don't run marathons in them.
I rhetorically asked if it had been a faulty helmet how would someone return the helmet and wait all that time legally unable to drive. For me and these boots however this is a safety concern. Not a legal concern. This was just to make them understand my point.
I would have begrudgingly understood if they offered a refund, as I could buy a new pair of boots out of my own money to continue riding safely in the interim, but they don't offer any refund. Just repair or replacement.
I've learned my lesson and will thoroughly research warranty terms with each online motorcycle gear company and choose which one offers the best service. J&S won't see another penny.
By all means use them to try on items in store, but don't throw your money away at them.

I’ve always had good service from Doncaster store but occasionally I order online I ordered about a week ago cruiser hotgrips by oxford I received them in the time I expected I have fitted them and everything works fine I have only given four stars as only a couple of black tie wraps and couple of nut’s missing luckily I had spare I do realise this is oxfords fault but I think they need checking

J & S Accessories at Uckfield - amazing
I visited the store in Uckfield with my 2 daughters today, none of us having any knowledge of biking. Jamie spent time with us taking us through step by step what equipment my daughters would need without being pushy. We bought a helmet, jeans, jacket and back plate.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the store and was grateful for the advice and guidance provided, I am certain we will be returning.
J&S GLOVES FULL OF HOLES …
I had some J&S gloves given a a Chrismas present,I don't know where they came from and the gloves have done less than 1000 miles on a Suzuki GSX600f. (Photographs sent to J&S via email)
They have large holes in them after a very short time I am 62 years old and look after all my equipment .
I contacted J&S at Doncaster and explained the situation regarding the Chrismas present and that I would be embarrassed to ask where they came from and how much they cost etc only to be told they required a receipt in order to progress .
Not really interested in viewing the gloves in person (never mentioned returning for inspection)
So please beware if you have been given an item of clothing etc from J&S and not got your receipt and the item is faulty you may as well throw it away and go to a different outlet .

Great service from these guys, online order came the after two days, which was great. Jacket and gloves as ordered, gloves, (Frank Thomas Review summer gloves), however we're a little tight. Took a ride over to the Leicester shop and the guys there sorted me out in a few minutes, brilliant service, Thanks.
Horrible customer service
Bought a new pair a gloves and i tried, but it not right for me so I go back and ask to exchange with a oder model because mi finger after used 20 mile is was white and uncomfortable. But when I been in the store they sad no, we can not escape... this is a ridiculous onestly. If I go to the shop I will expect to came back the item

Absolutely incredible customer service. There was an issue with my order, the helmet I ordered was the last in stock and on pre dispatch inspection it was found to be faulty. I was immediately contacted and they allowed me to pick a different helmet and also included a tinted visor. They kept me updated throughout the process and we're extremely helpful and friendly. The helmet and visor arrived the next day and is absolutely fantastic. I chose the Frank Thomas Alien helmet and it's incredible and very high quality.
I highly recommend J&S to anyone!!

Arrived with little or no expectation and was pleasantly surprised. She was patient, efficient and helped me get fully kitted out for my first motorbike lesson tomorrow and, as my hands were full with clothes and boots, carried my helmet to the car … just haven’t had service like that for years. Good to see some companies still employ decent staff!

Ordered an IXS 2 piece leather motorcycle suit from J&S. Really happy with it and the customer service.
Im small and small framed and ordered a 38 elsewhere assuming that it would be a bit bigger. No, the 38 drowned me. So i was looking for a childrens or small adults 36, but didnt want to order is it was going to be too big and the hassle of returning it. So i emailed the online customer support who gave me details but said that they didnt have it in the warehouse so information was scant, but it was at the Finedon store (i stay in Scotland). Emailed the Finedon store with my requests and dimensions. They were good and said that after looking at the suit, it would be perfect for my size/frame. On this advice i ordered. It arrived today. Fits well and very happy with it. Top marks for assistance and delivery. They could have said anything just to deliver and secure the sale and have my hassle to return. Will use again.
J&S Wolverhampton
Went to J&S Wolverhampton where we have been many times and spent a lot over the years. We have built up great rapport with the staff there, who have always gone above and beyond.
Unfortunately after a recent visit, I doubt we will go again. We had 2 helmets price matched but they needed to be ordered in. They arrived just before we went away and were told they would hold them for us until we returned.
When we went to collect the order, the price had changed, the Manager refused to honour the price match and was extremely sarcastic and rude. The deputy manager who had been serving me apologised for the Managers attitude.
It takes time to build relationships with customers and the Manager managed to ruin it and lose over £800 of business for the sake of a few pounds difference!

I drove there on Tuesday last week and found the assistance really unhelpful. Wanted some Knox gloves and AA rated jeans.
Had already found my size of gloves I wanted, by the time the assistant came over, and I needed help with getting the right size jeans. Out of all the racks of jeans, he asked my size and selected one pair of Frank Thomas which were too long in the leg and the armour was below the knees. He then said they're all the same so we don't have any.
I got the message he just couldn't be bothered, so walked out without anything.
I remember about 3 years ago needing bike leathers and going to sportsbikeshop. The first pair of leathers I tried on were similar, but the assistant got several different makes to try on and I did find some that fitted great, despite all allegedly being ' the same size'.
I don't recommend J&S Birmingham to anyone.
Super helpful staff
Went in to change a helmet that I received for a birthday present in the Edinburgh store and found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Most importantly of all though, they weren't pushy and let you think and make your own decision. I normally hate shopping but the environment in this shop was relaxing and I had a great experience. I ended up making a few extra purchases that I'm very happy with. Great job.

What a great experience at the Doncaster store. Leaving for a trip to the continent and last minute needed new bike pants. Doncaster had them in stock. They were kind enough to put them aside for me. Got to the store and all staff I dealt with were helpful and a pleasure to do business with
