Was in the Edinburgh store today and Duncan was a star, spend a long time sifting through jackets and trousers trying to get the right fit. Can't believe there's so much variation of sizes and fits in different manufacturers.

Went for touring wet weather gear but left with a new pair of leather jeans as needed them too.

So in end l have ideas for textile jacket/trousers and a new leather jacket to match my new jeans Don't tell the wife 🤣

Will be back for the rest as not enough space on bike and weather was horrific lol

I recently made the mistake of ordering from Motocard. After 3.5 weeks of them having my money in their account, they wrote to me stating that the supplier’ SIDI didn’t have the stock. Make no mistake here, they are using monies to bank roll their business on stock they don’t hold! Fast forward 24 hrs, ordered with J&S (who state what stock they hold) and the box was delivered by a reputable courier and boxed perfectly. Outstanding service.

Frank Thomas DV 10 flip helmet.
Shop staff very helpful, no problem there at all, but the Frank Thomas DV10 helmet is not very good, at £130.00 including pinlock is a fair price, yes, but it's noisy, and the worst part is that the tab for lifting the visor is only 6mm above the air vent slide, and it is virtually impossible to lift the visor with a gloved hand, so when you need a bit of air, or just lift the visor whilst filtering etc, it's a real struggle, why didn't they put the lift tab to one side, the designer obviously wasn't a biker

I rang j&S Northwich today and asked if they had the Scott waterproofs in they said yes I asked if they would do us a deal as I wanted the jackets and trousers for me and my wife and they said no,doesn’t make sense to me because if you order on line they do free postage, was thinking of getting some Daytona boots as well.

I was lucky enough to receive £700 worth of J&S vouchers from friends and family for my 50th birthday. As fellow motorcyclists will understand I was extremely excited & looking forward to getting lots of new kit. With my nearest store being over 20 miles away I thought I’d order the kit I wanted on line. Imagine my surprise to find that YOU CANNOT USE J&S VOUCHERS ONLINE ON THEIR WEBSITE. so I looked online and pretty much every store within 50 miles didn’t have the items I wanted in stock. I questioned this with ‘customer services’ who advised me to email my nearest store and they would order them in for me. They haven’t replied to my emails. I asked for a refund from customer services…….no response. Shocking.

So if you are looking to get someone gift vouchers as a present go to sportsbikeshop.com - you can use them online and they are very well stocked.

Went to J&S Uckfield last week to look at trousers and gloves. Initially spoke with Daisy, if you can call it that. She clealy wasnt interested in helping and to be frank, didn't smell great either. I then took my time to look at some of the leathers where a guy called Haydon (I think) gave me some help and was great. I then finally went back to the trousers and gloves where Henry helped me and was AMAZING. his level of knowledge was second to none and I endd up spending quite a bit more than intended (don't tell the wife). Its a shame the first impressions weren't great, but I will be back.

Just order a new pair of gloves from their website. Received today a used item instead of "NEW"... without tags, packing and w/water marks. No recommend this company.

Very kind and helpful staff, selling you what you need, not what they want to shift. Have been using the New Malden branch for years. I have never had a "bad sale" from them. Really happy with my boots and trousers :)

they sell all ranges of quality, "do your homework first" some cheaper products dont last but they are cheap to keep you going worse case scenario, some high end quality are not worth the money in my opinion but there if you like the style etc, unless its security! dont skimp, police dont meet the the dictionary definition these days, id recommend you research the best bang for your buck items. if you have any issues they will help you out, either get it changed over or fixed, they normally price match if its sold in the uk and have had a good service and experience.

Bought the Frank Thomas black and red venom boots last Sunday 18th of feb from Newcastle/metro store and the sides have come apart with no way to clip or attach back together so I’ve had to super glue them and press them back in hoping for the best, £120 for them to come apart after a week is fkn appalling.

Great service from Jay B in the New Malden store. Took time to find the right type of boots for me - Alpinestars SMX-Plus. Then some Knox gloves in the right size. Good price, good availability 9f stock to try

Bought a arai tour x4. From the Edinburgh branch. They did a price match to another retailer. Helmet is spot on. fantastic service. I’ll be back

Went into the Doncaster store today for some new boots, the first young chap was really polite and helpful. He went to help someone else and I spent some time looking at his recommendations. I was surprised at 2 staff who stood either side of me simply looking at me and pretending to look at stock. I asked if there was anything wrong as I felt they were treating me like a famous shoplifter, they responded with a grunt so I decided to visit Sportsbike in Leeds which was a much better experience. At 57 I really dident expect to be treated like that so won’t be returning.

I ordered 2 alpinestars hoodies in jan sales, I ordered them online 6th jan, they were sent out via dpd service, I got 2 emails stating been delivered when I got home dpd slip saying near motorcycle, went out to drive and nothing, did not request that by the way... spoke to j&s as dpd online showed neighbours door saying delivered there... its 3 weeks and im still waiting for either a refund or replacement from J&S I get investigation has to be done, but its got this silly today DPD sent the original driver to my home to start an argument stating I told him to leave near motorcycles on drive, which I didn't.... J&S when I rang and via email, got basically told I should have informed dpd as to what to do with the parcel, and download the app to explain that, and every time ive contacted J&S they just state its an investigation..... im the customer, and J&S and DPD have tried to put it on me.... its an absolute joke..... no hoodies, no refund.... apparently it takes 3 weeks to investigate and an attempt by dpd to get driver to bully me into saying its my fault.... both these companies.. if you want customer service, do not I repeat do not buy any products from J&S, go to sportsbikeshop...... ill never see the products I purchased, and clearly they dont give out refunds to customers who never received there items.... if I could give negative feedback I would absolute crap... J&S will respond to this stating an investigation needs to be done, but 3 weeks joke, and to send dpd round to my home to argue on my drive.. cause I didn't receive items..... day light robbery.... by J&S.....

Excellent as always went into the Leeds shop for a new helmet and gloves the adventure helmet I wanted wasn’t in stock in my size but thay ordered it there and then it was delivered the next morning as promised excellent work highly recommended definitely will be returning

Jay at Morden J&S. He knew right away what size and type of heated jacket would fit me even though he had never seen me before. We had a good conversation while I tried on the jacket. He made the purchase effortless.

Popped in (28/11/23) to get some new boots and claw gloves.
Chap who served me was really personable and helpful.
At the till, the other three assistants were chatty and friendly too.
Got what I was after, and warm regards to all at J&S New Malden.
