Great customer care support. I reached out after purchasing a product in Boots as I have not been satisfied with the results. They offered me video consultation and offered a replacement. They worked with me until I was satisfied with results. Cannot recommend enough. Brand that looks after its customers. I’ll definitely be buying again

It’s not the colour it shows on instagram. Looks dusty when it goes on. I don’t like it.

Products arrived on time, are easy to use, lovely colour nice tones in the dark blond

Bought the blonde to enhance highlights but just looks like grey. Am sure darker colours are better.

Hero to zero… I have been using Josh wood 7.5 plus copper shade shot for ages and got so many compliments, all the time, from random strangers. Then they just stopped making it. They now don’t make any red. The gloss is not the same product, only lasts a few washes and is too orange. I have just tried esalon and the colour is so flat compared to Josh wood and it was much harder to apply and doesn’t feel as nice. Josh wood didn’t recommend any alternative brands when I asked. So disappointed.

I never rated their customer service though, you always have to explain everything a lot before they understand you. It’s like if you ask a question that’s not on their standard script they have no way of coping.

I am so happy with the services, atmosphere and values of Josh Wood! I purchased a £450 voucher for your salon at the Autistica gala dinner last year. It was so generous of the salon to donate this voucher to such a worthy cause. Thank you. I had wanted to start coming to your salon for years so that was a good way to start! And from the moment I started communicating with your team, everyone was so friendly, accommodating and helpful. When I have had to change an app or you’ve had a change in staff affecting my apps, everything has been resolved so smoothly. And the first time I attended, the young woman who washed my hair and took care of me was such a delight but I realised, having done lots of community work with at risk young people, could easily have been overlooked. She was hugely enthusiastic and authentic, and I could just tell the salon had harnessed her energy in a way that really brought out the best in her. And, she told me she has applied for the role via the internet and it was clear that the salon really gives everyone a fair chance. Really glad I have started coming to the salon. Thank you!

Customer Service has been excellent! I accidently ordered the wrong shade and they sorted out the problem straight away.

Received my very first order quickly - but 1 item missing yet paid for - no customer service number to call - just one of those stupid contact forms that actually go nowhere !!! I normally don't use companies with no contact number as these can be very risky as you never get any response back (didnt think for one min this company would be one of those so didnt check first for a number) so yes i have reached out on a contact form and had no response - anyone any idea on how I can get a refund or even the product missing sent to me??
Wont be using this company again purely on their customer service and have not even used the product yet so who knows I maybe back with a further review - should of gone with me gut instinct and ordered from a third party

Thanks for your prompt response much appreciated but just a bit of a heads up - you state has been posted with Express Delivery and I have received email saying coming 2nd class delivery - dont think that matches with what you said !!

So this does not happen to me very often as we all have had horrendous experiences with online companies and even worse with delivery companies but I will have to admit the way this company have dealt with my query has been short of excellent - I have not tried their products yet and I hope they match the same quality as they are.

I’ve used the JW permanent dye 3 times now, the first time it was excellent I recommended it to so many friends. The second bottle didn’t cover my greys at all but I thought it was more likely to be my poor application. I’ve just redone my hair with a third bottle while being meticulous in the application on the greys. They’ve not covered at all again, I think there’s a dodgy batch of dyes being sold

Honestly it really works. Touches up all the grey, doesn’t smudge. I use it between colour appointments and no one can tell the difference comes in a lovely little palette which is easy to put in my bag. Thoroughly recommend.
