Root spray is excellent
Wasn’t sure which colour application was right for me so went for the root spray as I’ve used similar products before. Right choice for me, it goes go brilliantly and you can use your fingers to further blend (wash them after though). It looks so good and great to use between colour appointments. Excellent product.

No redhead options
I have used Josh Wood colour for 5 years and have been happy but they’ve discontinued the chestnut shade shot so there is no option now for redheads. So disappointing especially as they ran a whole social media campaign last year championing red hair! I had a video consultation and they said there is nothing they can do.
Update 1st July. Had a helpful email exchange today which will hopefully resolve things going forward.

A lovely colour but hard to apply
A lovely colour which leaves my hair feeling soft and healthy, and I will certainly be using it regularly. My only criticism is that the plastic bottle you use to apply the colour to your hair it is very thick and hard to squeeze. I found it very difficult to get all the product out, and my hands hurt from squeezing so hard. I wish they would use a thinner plastic for the applicator. Otherwise it is really a great product.
I do recommend it, and hope they may change the plastic bottle for something easier one day.

*** UPDATE - The Chestnut shade shot is back and I am thrilled. I tried out some other hair colouring products whilst this was currently discontinued and none of them match the quality of the products that you get from Josh Wood Colour. Thank you for listening to your customers I am so glad I can subscribe again and get a fantastic colour.
Such a shame, I love Josh Wood Colour however, I am so disapointed that they keep discontinuing the shade shots. I initially used the caramel shade shot and then when they discontinued this I changed to the chestnut shot and have today received an email to say this is being discontinued. They now offer no other shade shots for brunette hair apart from Icy which is not the shade I want to acheive. I may have to shop around now unless some new shade shots get introduced. Such a shame.

The products are excellent quality
The Josh Wood products are the best premium brand I have ever come across. I have had two calls with the customer care team and Lynne was brilliant. Very knowledgeable, professional and gives good honest advice. I have had a problem with other hair dyes, but this seem to be fantastic. It has given my hair a good shine, it even moisturises my scalp, and it smells nice. I recently bought the miracle water - which is the best conditioner I have ever used, I love it ! DREADFUL SERVICE The products are good but the customer…
The products are good but the customer service is dreadful. Sent an order yesterday asking for help - it’s almost closing time for them and heard nothing!!!! It’s so frustrating as I can’t use a phone. Have they read the disability and inclusion law? I need to colour my hair for Easter and I am giving good time. It has happened time and time again!!! Sent three emails throughout the day!
They just stated they have replied. Well I replied to it and no reply for an hour! They are having problems with my card payment for subscription. I don’t have a problem with my card as I paid for an order yesterday! They should have sent an invoice for this but nothing since yesterday. I sent a message at 11 to say I am out this afternoon - no reply!

Easy to use and covers great.
I love this product, it is so easy to use and looks great. Unlike sprays, it doesn't leave your hair sticky, only goes where you want it too and leaves very little transfer onto your fingers if you touch your hair. You don't need a lot to cover greys either. If, like me, you aren't great at doing your own hair, this is the product for you.

Fantastic product, great results
Delivery was on time, beautiful packaging and the product I purchased was true to colour and my hair feels and looks amazing. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I ended up with no dye stains on my face, tops of my ears or neckline thanks to the barrier cream and dye removal wipe. I have subscribed so that I don't have the hassle of going to a salon every 6 weeks for a root touch up. Highly recommend.
