Having test driven and chosen the exact model of Dacia Bigster that suited my needs locally I managed to find one online at a great price at John Clark Aberdeen.
Scott Arthur was very helpful discussing the vehicle and purchase, unfortunately purchase of this vehicle fell through but Scott was able to source another new one with the same spec and arranged delivery from Bristol to Aberdeen to me in Brighton.
As this was my first ever purchase of a new car and first remote purchase (previously I had brought cars in person and driven them away there and then) I had several questions and called Scott on several occasions, he always called me back and kept me updated with the process.
Since delivery, Scott has called to check how its going and I have emailed him with questions which he's always keen to answer.

The service was very friendly and everything was explained in a clear understandable way.

Lovely salesman was very helpful in explaining the process, and getting the best deal within my budget, will be back when getting a new car again and will look for James.

Staff were very professional and made the whole experience of buying a new car very easy. James was very helpful and kept in touch with us throughout.

I wanted to leave feedback about my experience with John Clark, as I was genuinely impressed with the service I received from start to finish.

I initially emailed about the car, but I wasn’t able to view it straight away due to my driving licence details being updated with the DVLA following a name change. What stood out to me was that I was never pressured, chased, or constantly contacted like I have experienced with other dealerships. Nicole provided the information I asked for when I was ready and gave me time and space to make the right decision.

I dealt with Nicole throughout the process, and she was fantastic. When I eventually went to view the car, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. I was able to take the car for a test drive, ask questions, and make my decision without any pressure or pushy sales tactics. The whole experience felt relaxed and customer-focused, and we were able to agree on a deal that worked for me. Everyone was so friendly, offering cups of coffee, to being told jokes - which I still tell at work - I wasn’t able to remember his name but wanted to pass on my thanks to him also - I do remember he used to work in window sales.

I also had some issues with my previous finance company, which could have made the process stressful, but Nicole was incredibly reassuring, helpful, and proactive in getting everything sorted as quickly as possible. She kept me updated, supported me throughout, and made what could have been a frustrating situation feel much easier.

I was extremely happy with the level of service I received. John Clark is different from other dealerships I have dealt with — they genuinely listen to customers, respect their decisions, and don’t bombard you with unnecessary calls and emails. Their communication is professional, timely, and based around what the customer actually needs.

From the first email to collecting my car, I felt valued and looked after. The whole team made the process straightforward, stress-free, and enjoyable. I would highly recommend John Clark to anyone looking for a dealership that offers honest advice, excellent customer service, and a pressure-free buying experience.

Sadly not the experience I was hoping for! Communication before sale was great however felt I had to do the chasing regarding anything to do with my car after sale. While picking up my car I was asked to do a review wich I was later told my review was not good enough and if I changed it my fuel tank would be filled up( all this sitting in my car not in the show room) when I said I couldn’t change as didn’t know how to get back in, that wasn’t a problem as the salesman said he could do it. Feeling under pressure and uncomfortable this happened and no more mention of fuel! When salesman got out my car I noticed the seats were dirty so said and my car then had to be booked in to get cleaned! So few days later I walked to work, when I went to pick up car I was told it was again sent back as only front seats had been cleaned. No handbook was with the car and I was told one would be ordered but I still have no handbook. I noticed a chip on the window ( was small I originally thought it was a dirty mark) so brought it to salesman attention and said he would get this booked in and be in touch again a week later still no word until I messaged sales manager, then salesman phoned asking if I had been! No date or where to go had been given to me so this was impossible. I did then take my car to get window screen fixed, still awaiting handbook and feeling like the joy of buying a new car has well and truly been taken away as this has been one of my worst experiences buying a car!

James made the whole experience enjoyable. This is my second car from him and he explains things so easy

Booked a test drive on the Friday via the website for a Sunday slot. Received an acknowledgement on Saturday morning that someone from the sales team would contact me. Called the Aberdeen number 4 different times on Sunday and got no answer. Received 2 short calls on Monday night from John Clark but no human at the other end of the phone. Shocking service.

Got my car at the start of the year, not disappointed at all. Perfect car for my needs. big thank you to Scott Arthur for pointing me in the right direction and helping me throughout the whole process from start to finish.
