Having had a truly awful experience with another lettings agent I was extremely nervous about continuing being a landlord, however I called in to Harris and Wood after being advised to contact them by a contractor who was working on one of our properties.
Megan Power took the time to talk me through the whole process and how Harris and Wood could help us going forward. She made everything very clear and put me at ease. She found us a tenant within a short space of time and so far everything is going very well. We will be transferring our other two properties over to Harris and Wood as soon as possible.
We are fairly new as landlords and still have a lot to learn. I feel confident that I can call Megan when I have a query or a concern about anything to do with lettings, she is always very quick to respond.
I also like the fact that all aspects of the lettings service are within the same premises, rather than our previous agent who had different offices dealing with different 'services' who didn't seem to communicate with each other.
I hope this is the start of a long and productive relationship with Harris and Wood, thank you to Megan for being so patient with me and for renewing our confidence in our future as landlords.

Unfair and inappropriate

Cancelled a viewing on the grounds a house was sold without telling us. Girlfriend took time off work to view, parents travelled an hour to view.

When ringing up to complain fobbed off with garbage about 'the system' not being able to be changed.

If a company screws up - its forgivable - until the company doesn't own the mistake and tries to pass the buck on to the people who booked the viewing or this 'mysterious' system that doesn't allow you to change any details or carry out efficient business.

Its a shame there's a shortage of other estate age.... oh wait.

Moving is stressful at the best of times, but Megan made the whole process seamless from start to finish, including on her annual leave! Thanks again.

Just sold my flat through Harrison and Wood, excellent service throughout despite some difficulties with leasehold etc, all staff were helpful and efficient but Naomi Barlow stands out as being efficient, effective, professional but friendly and she got the sale over the line with her clear-headed approach and determination. She often called to update me outside her working hours too.

Connor has been brilliant. He has been helpful, respectful and always responds in a timely manner.

Indeed Megan Power got the real power indeed. She is just super best in followup and chasing you up for your accomodation contract to ensure you move in early and have a smooth contract signing. I got my place and it's beautiful and close to the town centre.

Its very strange that such agency has such a good review. I would not recommend this agency and there are various reasons. One they are rude to their customers and care only about incomes they get from you. Second they pretend to be nice until its worthy to get anything from you. Thirdly, they cause stress and dont take responsibilities to their customers, they just want you to rent from them and pay rent, and leave them alone for anything. And lastly, they dont behave in professional manner and as in previous review mentioned, i would mention Rachel as well. She is the queen of everything written above.
